Wish I had read the reviews before purchasing. Absolute scam - doesn’t state anywhere that the books are digital downloads. Even asks for a shipping address which further implies you are being sent a physical book.
Upon reading other reviews, it looks unlikely that I will get a refund either. Don’t make the same mistake as I did!!

Not clear that what you are buying is an e-book and then will not provide a refund when you realise that nothing has been delivered for three weeks.

Turned out to be digital download, not a physical copy of the book I wanted. I had checked the listing several times to make sure this was not the case (as I had suspicions given similar prices from other companies which were open about the format being offered) but it turned out Zohoboks just decided to omit this fact

Would not recommend and will be taking the complaint further.

To be fair to them, I did complain via email voicing my dissatisfaction, they have since issued a full refund

Their website includes lines like, "in stock ready to be sent", they include a section about returns and refunds stating that goods can be returned if needed. You make your purchase of what you believe to be a book and then you are sent a link and nothing else. I emailed them and told them I had made a mistake and wanted to cancel and initially they said no refund, so I said I would be blocking the payment with my bank, to which they replied and said they would refund, will be watching my account very closely. UNLESS YOU WANT AN EBOOK, DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY

Totally mislead I thought I was buying a hard back book. There was no info on the site that this was an E book. I will never use them again or recommend to any one. I am very disappointed and will be contacti.ng my bank re refund

This company is a scam. It needs reporting.
I ordered a book assuming it was a paperback. It's a digital book.

Shocking liars!

They sell books in PDF format without explaining it on their website so you get impression you are buying hard copy. I only found it out when I contacted them after 3 weeks of awaiting for delivery of my book. They told me I purchased ebook even though I have never received it by email. I told them I have never received it. I was informed I will get it resent which didnt happen. I requested refund and they sent me PDF book only then. AVOID LIKE A PLAGUE. Its a con company. It taught me to check Trustpilot website first when tempted to buy something from unknown websites.

I accidentally bought an ebook rather than a hard copy and as soon as I realised my error I contacted the company to ask the transaction be cancelled. I hadn’t downloaded the book. On their website it clearly says they offer cancellations and refunds however in the response I received they said they didn’t offer refunds on ebooks. I explained this was against my consumer rights and that it didn’t say this anywhere on the website. I heard nothing since and as such have sent my complaint to trading standards. DO NOT on ANY account buy from this company, they are a SCAM.

Very poor customer service.
The deed a cookery book, order asked for address and stated 7/10 days delivery. Turned out to be a digital book that was delivered immediately. They’ve informed that will not refund as t is a digital book, despite my request for a refund being sent within 5 mins of ordering.
The returns and refunds policy does policy does not inform this.
Poor customer service and dreadful marketing.

Misrepresentation! Same complaints as other customers, I ordered 2 books, but sent digital downloads. Emailed to request refund, they refused. They don’t even sell hard copies of books! Website totally misleading, no mention of e-books etc.
Have reported to Action Fraud, Citizens Advice & Barclay card.

Purchased a book expecting it to be sent to my address and was sent a digital book which I didn’t purchase they are refusing to refund me my money

I thought that I was buying a physical book. There is nothing in the description to say that this is an ebook. I received a reply to my email refusing my request for a refund. This is a scam.

Please avoid this company if you want to buy a physical book. They only sell eBooks but don't make this clear.

They sent me an eBook when I thought I was buying a physical book, despite eBooks not being mentioned and the listing saying 'In stock, ready to ship'.

They refused to give me a refund but my bank gave me my money back. I will be contacting Action Fraud about them.

DO NOT BUY- Sells its books as if they are physical copies, nowhere on its site does it state they are digital books, even asks for shipping address but sends a digital copy. No response from emails other than refusing a refund. The book was for an elderly relative who wouldn't be able to use the digital book. Now ignoring all emails.

The company pretends that you have ordered an online version of a book. There is no mention of this on their advertisement, nor any suggestion in their confirmation of your order - they even say "free shipping"!
Initially they say that they cannot refund your money for an ebook.
Report them to Action Fraud to obtain a refund.

As with all the other reviewers, was lead to believe I was buying a physical book and received an online copy. No refund available and no-one to answer the phone. A complete scam. Do not go near this company….

I have raised the issue with my credit card provider who are now investigating
