Scam. You think you are ordering a physical book and they 'pretend' its an ebook. They then deny you a refund. I suggest you use a variation on this template to get your money back and check that you receive it: "Thank you for your response confirming that Order #XXXXX is for a digital product (eBook) and for your subsequent refusal to issue a refund.

I must state that your refusal is unacceptable. I reiterate that there was no clear or adequate information on your website to distinguish this product as purely digital, leading to a misrepresentation of the goods purchased. As I confirmed in my previous email, I have not accessed or downloaded the eBook.

Given this material non-compliance with expected trading standards and the misleading product description, I am formally demanding an immediate and full refund of £XX.00.

Please be advised that I intend to exercise my rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 regarding misleading information and lack of pre-contract transparency.

If this refund is not processed within one business day, I will immediately be taking the following actions:
Pursuing a Section 75 chargeback through my card issuer (Visa ending in xxxx).
Reporting your company to both Action Fraud and Trading Standards for misleading sales practices.
Formally requesting the immediate and complete deletion of all my personal data in line with UK data protection legislation.
I expect confirmation that a refund is being processed and that my data has been deleted by 11:00 AM GMT tomorrow."

They don’t send you a book it’s actually an ebook and the website doesn’t tell you what format you are buying , so I would avoid this company , and you can’t get a refund , I will be reporting them to trading standards as they are scamming people

Do not buy from Zohobok. The website is misleading and only sells ebooks despite not saying this anywhere on the site. I ordered a book and received a confirmation email saying the order was being processed and would be delivered to my chosen address. From this, I understood that I had ordered a physical book. However, after 2 weeks of radio silence I contacted customer support to enquire if the book was on its way, I was told I had bought an ebook, and that I would have received an email with download details, which I never had. There was never any indication that they only sell eBooks and not any physical books. Even if they sell eBooks they don't provide any easy way to download them and I'm not sure if I'll ever be able to read the book I ordered. It might all be a scam.

Fraudulent. Sells books that do not appear. Website advertises books with free delivery, DO NOT USE. Don't be seduced by cheaper prices. Use official book sellers instead.

Devious!! Not recommended!! Website makes you believe u r getting a physical copy of a book. Only after purchasing does it reveal you’ve purchased a download. Contacting trading standards to report zohobok for underhanded trading standards.

If I could give less stars I would. Now having read the reviews I realise I'm not alone expecting an actual book when in fact I've received an ebook! I'm hoping to get a refund but I will be contacting trading standards !

Same procedure same website. I think this is run by bots as threatening with the consumer rights act 2015 and action fraud and chargeback seems to trigger an identical response and refund.
The response is they only sell ebooks. The response should be this is a SCAM. do not buy. REPORT ON SCAM ADVISER

Please avoid, I assumed I was buying a book but it was an ebook. No mention of an ebook on the site. Said ready to dispatch and asked for my postal address.

Absolutely one of the worst. Scam company. Doesn't mention that it's an eBook and won't refund. NOWHERE does it state they are eBooks only and even asks for your home address. Will complete a chargeback from my bank.

No real books stocked and no refund. This company is advertising books to ship out to you. Gaslighting hustling suggesting you're confused and should have known its an ebook. Dishonest trading.

This company is A SCAM!!! Do not be fooled into thinking you are buying a physical book. Despite all they say on their sales page, you are going to end up with an eBook. You are unlikely to get a refund. They seriously need to be reported to the authorities for misleading innocent buyers into parting with their money into the belief they are buying a physical product when they have no intention in fulfilling that promise and instead give you a digital download.

Thought I was ordering a book but it's actually an ebook. Doesn't mention anywhere it's only ebooks they stock and asked for delivery home address with free UK delivery. Massive scam and would avoid this company and website if you are looking to buy actual books. Even have web pages on shipping and return policies.

What a scam! The books they sell are e books despite showing pictures of actual books and asking for your delivery address. It states no where that I can find on their website that this is the case and they do not offer refunds. So annoyed 😡

I purchased a book off this website, it said in stock, free delivery. It turns out it is a ebook. No where does it state this on the page.

Customer service is terrible, I asked for a refund and they won't help me. This was a gift and now ive wasted money.

Do not use this company if you wish to buy a physical book, just noticed it’s digital download only. Have just purchased one and immediately noticed - very misleading. Have asked for a refund, waiting to hear back!!

Yep total scam, won’t give your money back for the downloaded book that they did not tell you that you had ordered on there misleading order page.

This mob are scam artists. They front as a book store, but do not sell books. Once they have your money, they e-mail you a link to view an online copy. Complete scam. I’m currently in the process of trying to reclaim my money. Do not buy from these criminals.
