Used Compare site and found Zenith covered my requirements at a competitive rate. Easy to set up and access. Not yet effective, therefore, cannot comment on service, should I need to make a claim.

They do listen!

Update: after an
Email and phone with Vicky and colleagues, they admitted some failings and have sort my van insurance, this make a change for a company to make things right!

The quote was very good at the beginning, around £179 they then wanted proof of NCD for my van which I sent on 3 occasions, they then wanted proof of NCD on my private car, which my car insurance stated they can’t provide as the car is in cover. They then state as I couldn’t get the document they need my policy would go up to £994!!
I then had to pay to cancel the policy, these guys are an absolute embarrassment!!
DO NOT USE THEM!!

We’re sorry to hear about your experience and understand how frustrating this situation must have been, particularly given the significant change in your premium and the difficulties you faced providing the requested documents.

To clarify, proof of No Claims Discount (NCD) can only be used on one vehicle at a time, not across multiple policies. This is outlined in the requirements when we request NCD documentation, as it must be valid and not in use on another active policy.

Ripped me off added an extra £300 onto…

Ripped me off added an extra £300 onto my policy for this year didn't even ring me to discuss it not happy one bit will not be going with them again!

I am very unhappy with the customer…

I am very unhappy with the customer service department and am still waiting for a call back that was promised within 48 hours. It has been over a week. When I rang back today the advisor manager Tandi "could not hear me" and she terminated the call after me queueing for over half an hour. They have money due to be refunded to me and still have not issued it.

My previous insurance was too expensive, got a much better deal with Zenith insurance, plus I didn’t realise I had 8 years no claims bonus until zenith informed me by letter, after claiming for only 5 years through the previous insurance in the same year who HAD NOT informed me I had 8 years, well done Zenith

Searching for a better insurance company!…

While upgrading my car (& insurance premiums) I decided on the policy Zenith Insurance we’re promoting. The service, communication & recalculation of the premium due to my error, have been exemplary.
All insurance policies should be handled in this manner & I highly recommend Zeniths approach to new customers.

Threat of policy cancellation for £0.42p

Called to change my address, this generated a premium change of £0.42 yes you are reading that correctly 42p. This company cannot process payments for less than £1, and advised that payment was not necessary. I then received a letter telling me that they were going to cancel my policy as money was owed, and if I didn't pay I would be charged £45, be aware its only a tiny amount but could come with a big credit history foot print

Easy to sort insurance. Hard to work out what they want!

Update: Zenith did get in touch to say that they urgently wanted to speak to me. When I called and eventually got through, I was told that they needed copies of our driving licences - I have already provided these and received confirmation on the phone that they have received them! No mention of NCD proof, just a rather threatening letter saying that they will take more money from me. This is the hardest insurance I have ever had to sort out!

Instructions for no claims discount proof unclear.
This is a second vehicle for me and I wanted to keep my no claims discount (NCD) on my other vehicle. I therefore stated that I had 0 no claims discount for this vehicle. I was asked on the portal to
prove that I had 0 years of NCD - how does one do that? In the absence of any other institution, I assumed that someone would realise I couldn’t prove 0 years NCD! Unfortunately an unpleasant email and letter later, threatening to increase my premium by 300 ish pounds, I rang customer services who explained they wanted the NCD for my other vehicle. This was completely unclear. I have now emailed this but not received confirmation. So it is hard to recommend this insurer!

Customer service agents haven't got a…

Customer service agents haven't got a clue what is going on. Will put you on hold so many times. One will tell you one thing then you will receive a email to get in touch urgent and then abother agent will tell you something else.
