I can't describe how much I love this store, everything I've gotten has been great prices, great postage especially in the UK so none of those horrible import fees. Communication is great she always responds fast as possible and I was so surprised she is a one woman team! I will never stop shopping here

Where do i begin? Well, for starters if you can't handle actual criticism then don't get a trust pilot, in fact don't run a business, at all. That's my advice for anyone reading this, and should be the moral of this review. Also my original got deleted since i clearly can't remain anonymous.
I started ordering from her and it was great, never had an issue, she was polite. Now shes blunt, rude, and even goes so far as to name and shame in her insta stories, because how dare someone not be able to pay the second she sends an invoice! Sometimes last minute bills pop up, those come before a figure, a plush, or anything else. She expects you to understand when she's going through trouble, but refuses to understand when it's you.
She has sendt people here to leave positive reviews, against trust pilots terms of service, ya know.
Lets talk about her 'nonrefundable' deposits and how they are basically illegal. You didn't receive the item, you get your money back, that's how it works, its what every business in the uk does. She just takes your money and gives someone else the item for half price, when really she should give a refund and charge the full price for the item if she wants to make her money back on her scalped items. As it turns out, this is in actual fact ILLEGAL TOO AS YOU DON'T RECEIVE THE PHYSICAL ITEM.
Ah yes, let's talk pricing. Shes basically scalping, which is what basically everyone is doing these days, in fact i bought an item from a proxy site for half the price (including shipping and import) that she was selling it for! I get she has to look after her kids and pay the bills, but... well she isn't registered on companies house, she isn't paying her taxes or claiming tax returns for her business. If you think im lying, look up every name she goes by on companies house on the government website, shes making enough and she should be registered. She isn't registered for VAT either. ALL OF THIS IS ILLEGAL. If you want to report this do so via companies house on the uk website, they will forward the info anonymously to the HMRC.
And if you're reading this, yykawaii, clean up your act, be professional, stop letting your kids play with your customers orders, and if you can't take criticism then why are you running a business?

I’ve been purchasing from her for years now, and I can honestly say she’s my favorite merch importer. I’m no stranger to sites like buyee, AmiAmi, and the like, but for things like kuji items and splits for keychains, plush sets, and others, she makes it easy to get the items I’d like. She even imports items from places like Starbucks China, with the items being nearly impossible to get otherwise. Her mystery boxes are my personal favorite, and I’ve ordered quite a few over the years- I always get way more than I’m expecting, and she ships out extremely fast- often within a day of payment. Because I live in the US, her open order system is great too! I don’t have to worry about paying for shipping separately on orders I place close together, and she’s very understanding about waiting for payment (as long as you’re transparent with her, obviously!). I hope to continue to purchase items from her for many years to come.

Over the years I've gotten stuff from YY, I've also shopped elsewhere when possible as I like many see the stupid price jumps on things which to me just seems like she's being greedy. YES I can understand that the item, shipping possible custom fees but sometimes it just seems a little extra if you ask me.
As someone who has brought from her when she only did phonecases, I've had my up's and downs. I've sadly had it where I've paid one half of an invoice but never got the 2nd, I see people with said item's I've ordered and due to me anxiety ( and see what she's done to people in the past by naming and shaming. ) I've just left it and really? I wish I hadn't as I've lost over £50 in items due to just being scared to ask, it's a fault on my end more than anything but still I feel like I shouldn't be scared to ask her about things like that you know? As a business you should just handle it nicely.
Small things I find annoying, as I'm someone who doesn't always check Instagram, I see in her stories sometimes asking people to contact her. And if that was me and say it was a day I didn't go on etc; I would have no clue, it doesn't take a second to just DM them rather than put it on your story. SAME with giveaways, I've seen her posting the winners but not tagging them? I can Only assume DM's are sent, but again not everyone checks Insta all the time, plus not having WIFI happens etc;
Personally I hope if YY reads these bad reviews maybe take them into account? Maybe think oh maybe I can change this. Don't push away everything that seems 'bad', sometimes learning from low reviews can help improve. It's sad to see that she treats a lot of people like this. I can totally understand 'giving it back' if someone is rude to you first, but there's also hearing them out first before blocking them.
I sadly am waiting on my last thing from YY and I think I'm saying my goodbyes, given everything that's happened with the clear guilty tripping and my own personal anxieties it's not worth it.
Prompt but little pricey
I’ve ordered several items from this seller and each have arrived promptly and well packaged. I did find the way of ‘ordering’ a bit daunting at first and if your not fast on Instagram to comment you have no chance. I did miss out on a few items being a second late but that’s the way it is.
I did query an order which I was given a quick polite reply which solved that right away. As for paying I completely understand that you pay as soon as you have committed to buying it, most things I purchase online from other websites they have you pay right away, so this business shouldn’t be any different. As for the part payments, a email system could be set up to remind the buyers, this shouldn’t be the buyers responsibility to remember without as least one prompt.
Now to the only issue I’ve now faced, I’ve bought japanese and anime merch for over 10 years now, and totally understand that using a middle man you are going to pay more, however the prices do seem steeper than else where. This isn’t touching the postage cost, £5 for a small parcel or large letter using Royal Mail isn’t right?
I would recommend this seller for anyone who doesn’t care for the item cost or needs the item quickly. Other than that I do think having a search online you may find things a little cheaper. If I could it would be a 3 1/2 stars.

Very rude lady who just cares about taking your money. Disgustingly overpriced, you’ll be better off ordering stuff direct from japan for cheaper. I remember she posted a wired switch animal crossing controller but in the description she never mentions that its wired and has tried to crop the wire out in the photo. She was asking for £80 and i found it on amazon japan for like £35 (scaaaameeer). Postage prices don’t make sense either, i think she just makes it up as she goes along. I bet she wishes she never asked people to leave reviews on here (which is against trustpilot rules btw). Glad I'm not the only one who’s had a bad experience with her. She needs to grow up, she acts like a snotty teenage girl at school and calls anyone that calls her out ‘haters’. Fix your attitude and no one would need to point out how rude you are.

I’ve had been ordering from Yykawaii for a year, but I am really glad I stopped buying from her and unfollowed her aswell.
I always felt very uneasy messaging her questions in fear that she will be mad and response rudely. This began when I got an invoice for shipping. She told me beforehand that it wouldn’t fit in 1 box so she will be sending 2 boxes. The shipping price was quite high so I asked if this is the price for 2 boxes. She said yes. Later I asked where the second box was, because I only received 1. She was pretty mad at the question and she told me it the invoice was for 1 box. I had to pay that price 3 times (3 boxes) when she originaly told me the first invoice would be for 2 boxes. I didn’t even know that I had to pay for a third box when I paid for the second box. She did not communicate beforehand with me that she would not be sending out all items with the second box. I felt very scammed but I was too scared to say something, which isn’t a good sign.
Later I claimed an Ai nesoberi, unfortunately 1 person before me got the last one. When she received the Ai nesoberis she put on her story that she had another one available. I quickly messaged her, since I was actually first in line when I originally commented to claim her, but she ignored me and the Ai was sold... this felt very unfair tbh.
I also read alot of dms from my friends. She was extremely rude to them, would become mad at the most basic questions, would also blame them when she makes a mistake. And this just makes customers fear you. Customers are afraid to message her, ask a question, report a problem, etc. This just puts of most people to deal with yykawaii. Me included. I can’t purchase anything from a seller I’m afraid to message.
I didn’t even get into the prices she asks for items but yeah, she overprices everything by ALOT. I could’ve gotten everything I purchased from her for alot cheaper at other places.

I’ve only been buying from her in the last year, but I have noticed some issues.
Along with what everyone else is saying, her prices are ridiculously overpriced. I haven’t seen anyone mention her mystery boxes she puts together, so I’ll tell my experience.
I had bought two mystery boxes from her, and none of them have been worth the money. They’re full of Kuji prizes she couldn’t shift. In one I got 3 (Kuji) pouches, two gatchas and a (Kuji) bowl. In the other, I got 2 (Kuji) face-clothes, three clear folders, four random keychains and a (Kuji) glass. Each was £25 and £20 respectfully, but was promised over £40 worth of stuff in it. Left over low-level Kuji prizes doesn’t make for a satisfying mystery box. For that money I was at least expecting a small plush or an acrylic stand, something more exciting than face-clothes.
I understand she’s a one woman show, but lack of updates regarding shipping is a big problem, considering how much we are paying. I do think she should hire an employee or two, even just to manage requests and upload tracking numbers.
Needs to work on her customer service skills
YYkawaii sells a good variety of items such as kawaii/anime/Japanese goods and sometimes these can be hard to come across on different websites. A lot of the items she does sell, however are up priced quite heavily and you’re probably better off purchasing from sites like amiami or dekaianime. I have ordered from her multiple times, the last time I ordered from her I had to chase up my order multiple times and she just responded basically by saying have you not seen my posts or story? Like I’m meant to keep an eye on her profile at all times when not all of us are constantly on Instagram at all times of the day and have lives? She does seem rather blunt and rude, often quite slack with responses. I had a figure arrived partially damaged also. I personally follow her account to find a lot of Japanese goods which I like to find elsewhere at a decent price. It puts me off greatly how she doesn’t thank people for their custom and isn’t sincere with her replies or barely gives you the time of day. They seem pretty half assed if you’re lucky to even receive one half the time. Good luck with trying to raise issues with your item or order, as you will probably be guilt tripped, seen as a ‘hater’, thrown excuses at or just greeted with a response that makes you feel as though you shouldn’t have ordered with her in the first place and it’s your own fault. YYkawaii also needs to understand that we’re not ‘haters’ were mostly customers who have been put off greatly by her own doings and gross behaviour. She has also ignored my friends request to buy her products. Also her postage costs are very expensive to the U.K. which is £5 per item...it doesn’t actually cost that much to send parcels so she’ll be making profit on each parcel sent with postage too. I’m actually surprised how many people have left her positive reviews? She’s VERY aggressive.

Possibly the rudest person I have ever encountered. I have only ever ATTEMPTED to order from her once and my claim was completely ignored despite being one of the few comments on the post at the time.
Her prices are also ridiculous. Like I am plz begging everyone who orders from her just go to buyee or something. You will get the exact same item for half the price.
Seriously she charges 2-3× retail price for these items but let's her toddlers package the order. If I am paying 20+ dollars for an ACRYLIC STAND IT BETTER NOT HAVE GRIMEY HANDS ON IT. Like seriously gamers I will go on amiami or something to buy the exact same acrylic stand for a quarter of that price.

Do not buy from YY Kawaii
So I have bought alot of YY Kawaii in the past 2 years during lockdown and at cons before hand and but the past few months there has been a change, yes she is a one person business but if the business is growing too big for one person to run as is very easy to see, as it's affecting many parts of the business, most importantly the customer service side.
Problems I have seen,
not receiving invoices and when this happens it's my fault even tho I have not had it, Kuji prices and extra charge when winning the top prize, Not refunding if item is sold on at full price (she profits twice and very illegal)
Pre-order for one price sell on for less then half, not helpful in regards to item arriving, Snarky responses when she replies about simple question about orders, Guilts trips by mentioning her children, (a business is a business at the end of the day) children destroys package items are being sent in, Figures if not sent in original box are poorly wrap. Had parts missing.
Doesn't update on what exactly is delayed, gives an estimate delivery but doesn't update if delayed further which has been happening alot lately due to the covid
She forgets that people have lives outside of Instagram and can't always be there for when she needs stuff paid
For example. Sending invoices at 11pm when people are sleeping and her canceling cause the expiration has gone due to it being need to be paid that day
Opens stock to take photos and sell at full price even though it has now lost its 'brand new' statement due to being opened
Forgets who requested an item even though half payment was paid
And all the bullying and humiliated she is giving to her customers, which is out of order, and saying all her customers who speak out about his business are branded as haters even tho we have spend our hard earned money, so anyone of her customers could be a hater in her eyes.
But let's not also forgot about her not being registered business and not paying taxes.
I urge everything to past on this business until things are put right

I have never bought from her due to her staggering overpricing, and am glad. She is publicly very rude and passive aggressive, writing indirect Instagram stories about her “haters” every time she receives criticism. She has been rude to several of my friends and has a terrible attitude, which maybe you’d expect from a teenager, not a grown woman.
She clearly can’t handle any form of criticism as she has blocked and harassed several people I know, and would rather post stories about how receiving bad reviews is “bad for her mental health” rather than act on the feedback.
She clearly shouldn’t be running a business, and you’re better off supporting an alternative like Dekai Anime, who are actually a registered business AND a good smile partner- their prices are far fairer and their shipping and customer service are excellent.

So rude and aggressive, every time there is something wrong I am made to feel like it was me who is at fault. Just a pure bully and ghosts or blocks when you try get in touch. I haven't bought for a while but hearing they are now asking people to leave good reviews (which you are not allowed to do as all reviews shouldbe impartial/fair and based on proper experience) because they can't take constructive criticism makes me annoyed.
Also handles items in a gross way as stated by other reviewers - taking photos of food items on your carpet is disgusting and you should be ashamed. In times when hygiene is really important it goes to show how much she values customers to send them items handled in such a truly disgusting way. You wouldn't buy food left on a supermarket floor so why accept this from here?
Anyone buying from this "store" should be aware you are buying items (including all of the merch) that she has just had all over her floor and living room, unhygienic and also shouldn't be selling food in this way.
unregistered and unprofessional
Would not recommend buying from an Instagram account. This lady is not registered as a UK business, asks for payment via PayPal so there is no trace and doesn't pay UK taxes. I have reported her to HMRC (UK tax authority) through their anonymous reporting system as she deserves an investigation. The more people that do this the better as it will force her to clean up her act.
She doesn't follow distance selling regulations regarding refunds and will just keep your money and block you then say your a "hater". Who does that? Unprofessional people that's who.
Asking £35 for figures you can buy for half the price (and cost her around £10 to buy, as figure prices are well known) is crazy and you are supporting illegal activities paying this.
There are enough warning signs here so please save yourself the hassle and just buy elsewhere.

Very rude when dealing with. Simple questions are dealt with aggressively and customers are treated with disrespect. Unprofessional and will regularly blast people on social media if they cannot pay - not a good look when people have been losing their jobs due to COVID all year!
Not a registered company and doesn't follow distance selling regulations! No help if an order doesn't arrive or is damaged or when they send the wrong item. I have no trust anymore that I will get anything I paid for!
If you can't buy direct from Japan, there are much better and professional UK companies who know how to treat their customers properly.

I’ve been buying for roughly 2 years and whenever I’ve purchased without bringing up anything it’s been fine. But as soon as I want to ask where an item is or have any other questions, she gets seriously defensive and tries to put the blame on you. Personally I always try to avoid conflict of any kind, but I’ve learned to come forward when I have an issue (which is a basic customer right?), but when I DMd her to ask where an order was she made it out I didn’t pay the invoice and thus it was cancelled (even though I always ensure to check my emails and pay).
As another reviewer said, I shouldn’t be scared to message a seller a question about an order I paid for. Also, shipping is always £4.50+ which is really expensive when all I want is a tiny item worth £5-10. Definitely the biggest issue is her inability to take any criticism and improve on her attitude, instead calling it ‘hate’ and calling people out on her story - which is really unprofessional.
Big improvements need to be done here.
For ages I felt very uncomfortable about writing an honest review of yykawaii as I had seen so many others being blasted for relatively normal things which most business' would handle professionally and privately. Seeing so many reviews of "Oh she's amazing and kind and polite" I felt that maybe it was just me who was having issues or saw the cracks.
Firstly, I give yykawaii 2*s because in all fairness, my items have arrived quickly, undamaged and correct. She loses 3*s because of her customer service, she says on posts it is "first come first serve" where I have been very obviously ignored compared to other "bigger" instagram accounts who commented after myself claiming the same items, which left me with a sour taste in my mouth. I, like MANY others have had an invoice of someone else sent to me, when I messaged her to let her know, she didn't respond or apologise, just deleted the invoice. This left an even MORE sour taste in my mouth, I didn't NEED to let her know, I could have just ignored it because my time is important too, I didn't need to take time out of my day to let her know about her screw up because we all have jobs and lives too. A simple "I'm sorry" or "Thank you for letting me know" would have been nice.
Let's not start on prices, yes, I get it I've worked for a lot of business' so I understand how selling works, but honestly, the price you pay is a bit crazy. A perfect example would be monster hunter plushies, the amount she wanted WITHOUT the shipping was more than I paid for with customs and shipping with amiami.
That takes me on to my next point, £5+ for shipping?? But when the package arrives the stamp says "£2.75"???
I get that she needs to make a profit and that is fair, but then I see her stories on insta (which is where you are best buying from her since her website is clunky and not updated) of her young children handling and messing around with the goods ordered. The moment someone has paid a deposit, that item isn't yours or your children's to handle and play with. It has honestly put me off hugely from ordering anything like keyrings or plushies from her out of the fear that they will be touched and played with. I work with children, I know how dirty their hands can be and it doesn't matter if they've just cleaned their hands, their hand will be up their nose and down again quicker than you can see, and they're handling goods I've paid for? No thank you.
Any criticism she gets is seen as "hate" which honestly should be the BIGGEST red flag for ANY consumer going. We all need criticism to understand what changes we need to make to improve, and as a business you need these even more. I don't hate yykawaii, I just think it needs some major improvements in the customer service and good handling side. Honestly if you can't take criticism and improve then I wouldn't give your business much more of a life span. It's 2021 and we're still in a pandemic, a lot of people have lost jobs yet they are still trying their best to support small independent business' like yourself, listen to these people! Take it on the chin and improve or you could find yourself like many business' and people. Jobless.

Pretty bad experience tbh, as we had a disagreement, she posted my comments on a Instagram story, leaving out the whole thing having people pamper to her side of the story, I think it’s extremely unprofessional. Feels like it’s school all over again. Posting my experience as she requested people to leave some good reviews on here. Safe to say I’d definitely not do business with her again.

Overpriced on most items, unorganised and the biggest issue is how rude she is. Makes you feel like you are wasting her time when you try ordering with her, but seems more than just I have had bad service with her reading the reviews. I know so many small businesses and not once have I had rude customer service like I have with Yykawaii.

I am here alongside everyone else, after the owner told people to come write a good review for them on Instagram.
I have been shopping from them for a while. I understand that it’s just a one man show, she’s the only one running the business but I also know a lot of other small store owners who have never once been rude or as unprofessional as her. If your item never arrived don’t bother asking her for a refund or where it could be. They will claim that it’s not their fault since you never bought the tracking and insured shipping, although for every item I’ve bought they’ve given me a tracking number. As well as she refused to give me a refund even though I never received the item.
Due to obvious reasons I was left without a job last year, she kept harassing me to pay the remaining balance for a nendoroid. Although I told her multiple times I did NOT have a job and was still waiting for unemployment. I asked her to please wait on me until I got it. She basically told me that wasn’t her problem and to either pay or loose the item.
The way she takes orders on Instagram and leaves you wondering whether you get an item or not is frustrating, only to one day wake up to a random invoice on your PayPal.
Also if you disagree on anything with them, they will expose you on Instagram and make you to be bad guy and them the victims.
