To her loyal followers - PLEASE READ. I’ve shopped for almost 2 years and although it has mostly been fine, I started to realise how rude and overpriced her items are.

The best example of how overpriced she is - the preorder for the Genshin Impact Mona figure. She is selling for £210 (without shipping price added). I looked on AmiAmi, a site I have recently bought from 3 times where pricing is the cheapest you can get and the shipping is varied and actually surprisingly cheap from Japan (ive paid £6-10 and received in 1-2 weeks), where I’ve never once had to pay customs, and the price was £105. YYKawaii is selling for £210. I’m sorry, but there is no excuse for selling double the retail price, even if it’s from Japan.

The small Nitotan plushies she sells for £20 (plus almost £5 shipping) retail on AmiAmi for £12, same with stands, and with how light and small they are you can get registered shipping for around £6. I never realised how overpriced her items were until now. Don’t get me wrong, on some items she doesn’t overprice by much, but a lot of the time it is painful.

She has been rude in replies and unprofessional in her stories, calling ‘haters’ out for simply criticising her.
It frustrates me so much to see her loyal followers spam short 5 star reviews on here and turning a blind eye to IMPORTANT criticisms which she fails to even consider. Do you guys not understand how bad that is? Y’all are brainwashed into following her, and for what? She needs to learn in order to keep customers and improve her services for you - her loyal followers.
I don’t think she’s a terrible person and I have always been understanding to her situations - but she has not always done the same for me. When she made a mistake sending me the wrong order, I was the one who had to pay £5 for shipping back to her, but she didn’t even acknowledge that or apologise once.
I would avoid shopping with her as much as you can and instead buy from amazing and cheap websites such as AmiAmi and DekaiAnime (UK based).

I have shopped with yykawaii many times, and have had zero problems with her. I’m not someone who questions about prices, and I only order when I have the money to pay for the item at that moment, so there has been nothing that has gone wrong between me and the seller. I’ll write why I’m giving three stars below, and if you bought anything, like especially a figure from her, PLEASE READ!

Reading these bad reviews, which she calls “haters”, it’s very clear that she is first, not refunding people when she’s not even giving them their item. Second, when people can’t pay the other half of the item or when people anger her, she literally blocks them and sells the item they ordered for half the price!! Like even if they paid. That’s ridiculous and illegal, and these people are helpless and lost their money. Third of all, her prices are very very high. It’s ridiculously high. She doesn’t even charge shipping rates properly, like I’ve had all packages the same size, and the most light weight package I had costed more than the heavier one and it just doesn’t make sense. I never even noticed how much money I’ve been taken until I’ve seen the reviews. Like guys. I paid £12.50 for shipping, which is like $20, and it’s ridiculous because that’s how much shipping costs from Japan and she charges double the price so it’s cheaper to get it from Japan… oh also she messages her buyers to write a review for her on here. Which the seller isn’t supposed to do that as this is trust pilot, and it only allows true reviews.

Ok so why am I giving three stars? I made a purchase from her a while ago which I very much love. I’m glad I bought it. And you know, reading these reviews I wanted to know how much it actually costs. So I looked it up and on CDJapan it was $66 so I was like wow so worth it because I paid so much less for this! And since I know Japanese I decide to google it in Japanese to see how much it costs in Japan, and turns out that she was selling something that is supposed to be a extra of a figure, separate from the figure! And guys, the figure WITH the extra was $66, and without the extra was $45. She was charging $83 for each of the figure without shipping, which means that every person that ordered should have gotten the extra or they would be paying double the price of the figure. The extra is also limited quantity, so there’s no way they’ll be receiving it now. In her pre-order for the figure she doesn’t mention about this extra at all even though the website that sells the figure openly states there’s a extra that comes with if they order from the website. So like I’ve had no problems with this seller, love my products I got from her, but I will never order from her again as she sells extra items that buyers are supposed to receive, separately for her own profit. I also hope nobody signs that petition she put up on her story without reading the contents because I don’t want to have to give my personal information just to start a social media account.

I recently bought from this seller for the first time! The seller was quick to respond and the payment was really easy.

The item also arrived much quicker than expected (I bought the Chongyun genshin keyring, it’s so cute!) which was great! I’ll definitely be buying from yy in the future :)

I've been buying from yy for years now, online and at cons
Transactions have always been easy, I comment on a post and she sends an invoice
Items always arrive between the time she states and arrive in perfect condition
I shall continue to buy from her as long as I have the space :)

I really happy to be able to buy a Mitsuri plushie (Kimetsu no Yaiba) thanks to YYKawaii on Instagram. I only be able to buy this plushie through her and I'm so grateful!

I am quite new to this shop, but I have to say I really like buying from yykawaii.

In this shop, I found items which I couldn't find inside of Europe (or sometimes even outside, as it was always sold out)
For me the costumer service is quite good as I mostly got a reply in at least 24hrs

the negative points:
pricey
and sometimes it wasn't well packed, where the latter one arrived in a good package.

but I consider buying again

I’ve ordered from her multiple times now, I have been a customer and never in my
life paid such ridiculous prices, had such a bad service and unpleasant interactions. I waited over 6 months for a figure, I was never aware of any delays, I asked multiple times and each time she took days to respond and was snappy and rude to me. Her sanrio items are insanely over priced, he recent strawberry news magazines would have been £14 with postage, I paid £9 on a separate site INCUDING japanese postage.

The way she runs her business is messy, unprofessional and she’s a very rude person to talk to. Didn’t like her sharing a petition basically demanding all people provide ID to open a social media account. Good way to alienate your followers and the people who purchase from you.😒

Managed to get a Pokémon center exclusive Marnie figure that I was desperate for from yykawaii through her Instagram. The owner was really responsive and helpful and I couldn't have got this figure without her. I also bought an Ellie TLOU nendoroid from a sales Instagram post and it came the next day! Thank you yykawaii I will be purchasing again in future :)

I’ve bought from YY Kawaii for a few years now & originally found them through their decoden cases & such.
They are a small business ran by only one person so of course they won’t be able to get everything to them upon the release date in Japan.
They will even take on a special request that you may have if it’s not listed too!
By purchasing through them, you are supporting a family rather than a business which is always such a lovely thing to know!
The only issue I’d say there is; is sometimes it may take a while for a reply but they will always make sure to reply as swiftly as possible!
I’d definitely recommend YY Kawaii’s services to anyone as they are and have always been such a pleasant person to deal with.

My experience has always been good when shopping with yykawaii, as I have been doing so for years! I have been able to order things easily and with little hassle , unlike using a proxy which is hard for me. I would recommend this shop to others and when I have, there was always positive feedback

YYkawaii should be avoided. Her prices are extremely scalped, almost 3-4x the original price in some instances. I’ve been collecting goods from Japan for over 10 years & I can tell you it’s cheaper (and safer) to just order items directly from Japan, either from sites that ship internationally or with a proxy service, then you’ll be properly protected as a buyer. Buying from sellers on Instagram is VERY informal and offers you almost no protection if something goes wrong, especially if they are as unprofessional and borderline scammy as YYkawaii. If you try and inquire about the prices (even politely), she blocks you on Instagram and does story posts calling you out & threatening you, instead of just politely replying like any normal business would. She’s doxxed customers who didn’t pay on time in the past too. Very rude, blunt, aggressive in her tactics - literally just cares about money and not about building a customer base or good customer service. Not someone I want to give my hard-earned money to tbh! AVOID

i've been purchasing merch from YY Kawaii for a couple of years now and i have had nothing but a good experience! She is very prompt, reliable, and kind. Items arrive packaged securely and within reasonable time, even with her being in the UK and I in the US. She is one of the main businesses i buy from for my collecting and honestly one of my favorites. she works very hard staying communicative and transparent with customers on her instagram and running her business on her own, and as a fellow small business owner it is inspiring to see! i definitely will continue to purchase from her and support her

I’ve had two experiences with YY and on both occasions she’s been rude, dismissive and unprofessional. This is a common theme throughout many customers stories regarding her behaviour and how she runs her ‘business’ in general.
She is prone to leaving customers who are not spending large amounts on read/ignoring them completely. Aside from the fact that basing a company off of Instagram is a big red flag for ANY business, her entire transaction method is very under the table and there is little to no buyer protection. She asks for her payment through PayPal, specifically friends and family, which leads to many shady examples of her not allowing refunds.
She is hostile towards genuine inquiries into her outrageous prices (more on that later) and will essentially scoff in your face if you misinterpret her posts.
In both my experiences, one of which being a gift from a friend, I was ignored for multiple weeks until I got a response that was contemptuous and characteristically patronising. This reaction was repeated when I inquired into the price of an item, assuming it was 2 because of how extortionate it was, and I was met with the unnecessary condescending voice again.
She commonly inflates her prices to absolutely HORRENDOUS amounts. It honestly baffles me that people I know still buy from her due to this among all other very frequent issues. I visited her profile after months of not associating with her to check if her attitude had improved and discovered she had advertised for the Project Sekai nesoberis at the ridiculous price of £40 without shipping. £40, excluding shipping. Needless to say, I went immediately onto another proxy and bought them for the original price of £16.
It astonishes me that she is not only in business but she has a very common customer base. Her treatment of the merchandise is also terrible as stated in many previous reviews.
She claims to not check these reviews due to her mental health but it is entirely evident she does and makes no attempt to address nor solve any of these issues. One past customer recounted YY’s unsanitary working conditions and she, despite ‘not reading reviews’, stopped putting the merchandise on her floor. While this is a slight improvement, it just goes to show her continued ignorance that she attempts to blanket by sending people to leave positive reviews.
There are countless other proxy’s available that will provide a much faster, affordable, effective, sanitary, friendly and ENJOYABLE experience over YYKawaii. Her attitude is enough of an issue, let alone one of a unregistered company. She has a lot of nerve for someone who is so incredibly rude and unprofessional to the people that are keeping her fraudulent business running.

I've ordered from yykawaii a few times now and she has never let me down. She is fast and reliable on delivery and very polite in dms! I once asked for a product which was out of stock and she managed to get another for me! The products are affordable and so is the postage (Usually takes 2 working days) I plan on buying more in the coming future! She is now my go to for anything anime!

My favourite small businesses! YyKawaii is such a lovely person, you can tell she puts so much care into everything from customer service to packaging of your kawaii goodies! I highly recommend this seller ❤️

I've been shopping with YYKawaii since 2018, i cant rate her enough! I have never had any problems, shes always comes across professional and helpful.
She goes out her way to help make merch affordable for all, and even take requests.
She does everything by herself as well as looks after her young family and house.
All her merch is genuine and as I've said it before i cant rate her enough!
