Both instructors (2 children: 13F & 11M) were excellent, building on previous lesson experience and increasing confidence of the children behind the wheel in a calm and patient manner. This is why we keep coming back.

On arrival at Sheffield Utilita arena we met with the instructor (mark welch) who we’ve seen 3 times now and is absolutely brilliant. We had booked an hour long session and had no complaints other than the fact that the cones are severely deteriorating and can’t be used for much longer, it’d be better if they received some more cones/ obstacles and then it’d be perfect!

The experience was fantastic from start to finish would definitely recommend. The booking was easy staff are so friendly and have used several locations all are easy to find well signposted. Can be recorded for the young driver and plenty areas to observe

The instructor immediately put the my daughter at ease and she said that he was a calming influence throughout the lesson helping her to get the most out of her experience

The Instructor was friendly, made our Daughter's first time driving lesson a fun, enjoyable, positive experience and she really wants more lessons and learn to drive.

Everything went well and things seemed well organised

We booked a Young Drivers session for our daughter’s 14th birthday, and I honestly cannot praise the team enough for the experience they gave her.

Our daughter has significant intellectual disabilities. She is non verbal and finds it difficult to follow even simple instructions, so we were unsure how much she would be able to participate. From the very first phone call, the staff were supportive and attentive. All the information we shared during booking was clearly passed on to the team at the venue, which made a huge difference on the day.

When we arrived, the site manager, John, met with us beforehand and took the time to explain the thoughtful adjustments they had made so that our daughter could safely take part. His kindness, professionalism, and genuine care immediately reassured us.

Her instructor, Stuart, was equally incredible. He showed such patience and understanding, made her feel comfortable, and worked beautifully within her limitations. Most importantly, he ensured she had a positive, enjoyable experience. Seeing her so happy and engaged was truly special for us as a family.

We were so impressed that, although this was originally meant to be a one off birthday treat, we have booked another session with them.

The entire experience was outstanding. The staff we encountered was welcoming, supportive, and respectful. The environment felt genuinely inclusive and disability friendly, which means more than I can express.

I would absolutely recommend Young Drivers to any family, especially those with neurodivergent or disabled children. They went above and beyond to make something possible that we were not sure would be, and we are incredibly grateful.

My Son absolute loves it. This is given him great confidence in driving. He has learnt so much and will make it so much easier when he is 17. Highly recommend the process is so easy and all done in a controlled environment.

My daughter had a great time. The instructor was very good and took the time to explain everything to my daughter the admin staff were very helpful too
