Chris Hall was my driving instructor and did such an amazing job that I struggle to put into words how enjoyable my time with him was. From the moment we met, he was very welcoming and extremely good at explaining driving and its nuances. He always knew every song that came on the radio and always kept me interested and engaged. I never left a lesson with him without knowing something new. He always knew how to rephrase things so they'd stick. And now I've just passed with no mistakes. So if you're reading this and are wondering if this Chris Hall fella is good, then know that he isn't just "good", he's the best!

Excellent Learning Experience
My daughter started lessons with Jason Willis back in January, after previously having lessons with a couple of other driving schools which were not a good fit for her. From Jason's first call to her, up to her test, he has been fantastic. He is calm and reassuring, and has built up her confidence behind the wheel, resulting in her managing to pass on her first attempt. He shared additional information that my daughter was able to pass onto us, so that we could assist her effectively with her driving practice when not having lessons. I would absolutely recommend Jason, particularly if your learner is a little anxious behind the wheel. Thank you Jason, excellent job!

Bill plant helped me pass my test my instructor Majid Hussain was very professional all through the process, he shared the techniques and tips made me overcome many of my driving faults and inhibitions. He is always on time.

Best instructor out there
I had the amazing luck to have been assigned Mohammed Osman as my instructor from bill plant and I could not have been happier. Mohammed was a very important part of my journey of learning to drive, with a very in depth way of teaching and changing the lessons to better suit my preferred learning style I am happy to say I passed today after 6 months of lessons. I’m so happy I chose to find an instructor through bill plant as I found an amazing teacher who was patient and supportive. Could not give enough praise to Mohammad and would recommend him to anyone.

Jen has been fantastic while teaching me how to drive. From the start she made me feel very relaxed and calmed my anxiety of learning to drive. Along the way she was very patient and took the time to explain manoeuvres and how best to approach them. Avoid Bill Plant, They kept our money.
My advise would be to avoid Bill Plant Driving School, the instructor that was responsible for my daughters lessons was constistantly late, a lesson was arranged for her to be picked up from her new work place, the instructor text us to say he would be an hour late so a 17 year old girl was left stranded waiting alone, outside, in the dark, at place she didn't know. Obviously I went to collect her and once I had arrived the instructor had actually turned up around 20 minutes late. My daughter was extremely upset about being left alone in the dark and she was in tears, the instuctor could clearly see this but still tried to get her to take the lesson. We refused the lesson and came home. We then cancelled the remaining lessons we had paid for up front but the instructor has withheld the cost of the lesson which he turned up late for due to the fact we refused for her to drive in her distressed state. (Is it actually legal for a lesson to take place with a clearly distressed child??). We have raised a complaint to Bill Plant they will not refund the missing payment. So think carefully before spending your money with them.

Punctuality and clear communication are expectations we place on all instructors, and we are concerned by what you have outlined regarding lateness, the change of pickup location, and your daughter being left waiting and distressed. Any learner who is visibly upset or uncomfortable should never feel pressured to continue with a lesson, and we are sorry that this situation escalated as it did.
With regard to refunds, all payments and cancellations are handled in line with our published terms and conditions. However, we recognise that circumstances such as those described warrant careful review, and these matters cannot be resolved fairly within a public forum.
As you have already raised this with our team, we would encourage continued direct communication so the full timeline, communications, and decision-making can be reviewed properly and impartially. This allows us to investigate instructor conduct and the refund outcome thoroughly and take any appropriate action.

Avoid at all costs scam you out of your money and don't care
Enquired about a training course to become a driving instructor they didn't tell me until they took my money that it was a business to business contract and there was no cooling down period.
There's minimum support to help you also you have additional expenses like all the dvsa teats etc which mounts up when emailing and contacting them they just try to shit you down then threaten to cancel the course if you don't do it by their timescales

DVSA exam fees are an external cost payable directly to the DVSA, this is clearly outlined in our T&Cs. We provide all candidates with DVSA-approved study materials to give you the best chance of success.
Regarding progression, two exam attempts in ten months is below the pace required to complete the course. Our communication around timescales is there to keep you on track, not to create pressure.
I understand we are currently in open communication with you regarding your concerns, and politely urge you to rebook another exam.
