Two instructors delivered the Course. They were both helpful, positive, instructive and professional and worked well together. I returned to the U.K. from Australia and was able to acquire a Driver's license without further instruction. I am glad and grateful for that but there have been a number of gaps in my understanding of the U K Highway code. So. I learned a great deal that I needed to know. I see how this method of responding to driving infringements will lead to much better outcomes across the board as I came away feeling more aware and with a desire to drive better.

The tutor was very friendly and not at all condescending. It was a very informative course, pointing out all the possible knock on effects of speeding. She quickly put us all at ease so that we contributed to the discussions and I found it very useful.

These courses can be challenging, but I have to say that this was excellent. Well run, well curated and the lecturer was excellent in terms of content, delivery and time keeping. It was sobering, refreshing and I learned a great deal along with techniques in terms of managing speed. Thank you Julie!

The course was very well run by 2 friendly instructors, very informative and relaxed, but emphasised the need to allow more time for journeys, not to rush and plan ahead allowing for possible hazards and be aware of stress, avoid anger, tiredness etc. also take note of street lighting generally indicating a 30 mph zone.
15 min is not a long enough break at lunchtime so maybe could be extended a bit.
The course certainly made me aware of the consequences of exceeding speed limits even if only slightly.

Brilliant course! Informal and very interesting, learnt lots of hints and tips. Matt the host was excellent and kept us all engaged throughout.

Jamie was a very engaging instructor, who welcomed everyone to the class and was not condescending in any way. He accepted questions, answered them succinctly and was candid in his responses. All attendees appeared to be experienced drivers (who all probably should have known better, including myself), but I think we all came away from the course having learned something. Quite a significant proportion of the course was unnecessarily spent dealing with Wales-specific road rules, which in some circumstances are different to those elsewhere in the UK, and I did feel somewhat awkward being the only Welsh attendee.

The course was really great. Our misdemeanours was treated seriously but sensitively. The presenters were so very informative, knowledgeable and entertaining. I learnt a great deal and was pleased to refresh things I was already aware of. Probably the most important thing - I came away with an understanding of the dangers of speeding and the determination to be proud of never doing so again. I'm doing well!

The speed awareness course I attended was much better than I expected. The instructor, Carrie, made the session enjoyable, serious when appropriate but kinda fun at the same time. She encouraged us all to get involved, and think about things that you wouldn't normally think about when driving. The way it was presented made me realise how serious the consequences could be should I continue to speed, even at a the low end of speeding. Great work, it's a shame that this sort of information and presentation is not provided to new drivers.

Our trainer was knowledgeable but made it more enjoyable with his sense of humour !

Well worth taking the course.
The course content is exactly what was needed and was very well delivered by the Gill the tutor. She quickly 'won over' all people on the course and we all learnt things we either didn't know or had forgotten which will hopefully prevent us getting another speeding ticket in the future.

Very informative. Put accross in a respectful way. Actually pretty interesting. Very fair to be offered the course because of only being slightly over the speed limit.

I did my course last Saturday and I wished we had received more information. We did some exercises, which were great, but we were not given the answers until the second part of the course. After the break, we rushed through the answers because the instructor on the first part of the course, was more interested in having a go at us and implied that we were "criminals". It was very unpleasant. The instructor we had on the second part of the course; after the break, was much better. But the first instructor/facilitator just wanted to humiliate us. Such a shame, as an opportunity to learn in an adult environment was lost, due to the the teaching methods used by the first instructor

I actually enjoyed my time doing the speed awareness. I learnt more than I thought I would do and came away feeling I would be a better, safer driver. The people who took the course were not judgemental of us and were very knowledgeable and it was easy to learn from them.

I was very impressed with the way it was presented. I learnt a lot of things I was unaware of and glad I attended the course.

Well run course by Julian…kept it interesting….some worthwhile reminders on the way

The leader made us feel comfortable and was non judgmental. He was polite, thoughtful, patient and encouraging. I learnt alot and was able to come up with an action plan that was workable for me. Definitely a positive experience and a good opportunity to brush up on the highway vode.
