Great response and overall customer service experience.

Laura went above and beyond what I expected when I requested a recent price match for the same pair of shoes (Black and White Air Metal Max) I purchased over the weekend through Eastbay.

The shoes were already delivered to a personal mailbox, so I figured there'd be no harm in asking considering the transaction was completed when the office manager signed for my package.

This model brings back nostalgia as it was one of the first pairs of shoes I was able to buy on my own working through college.

Even though we are in the midst of a pandemic, I appreciate having disposable income to keep some commerce activity going during this time to support businesses.

Also, to address the recent reviews giving YCMC one star. Your sense of entitlement is disgusting. Try exercising some patience and empathy during a GLOBAL pandemic as many retail business and restaurants struggle to survive and keep from filing from bankruptcy. You might be surprised that you'll be treated as well as you treat those serving you.

Thank you, YCMC team and Laura. I will have no qualms with ordering from your site in the future.

Trash

Trash. They allowed me to order a pair of premium Jordan SE 5's on Friday just for them to tell me it's out of stock a week later. Now I have to wait an additional 3 days to even get my money back. Super trash site.

It’s sad that the only guarantee you can make is 10% off. You have to be able to accommodate your customers in times like this. I have a pair of air Jordan 4s coming in from Eastbay today. No hiccups in shipping. Do better

I feel very sad for people like you. We're in the middle of a national emergency and you are complaining that we were forced to close our stores by the Governor. This is why your order was cancelled as we could not enter the store where your product resided. Do you not care about your fellow citizens who are facing hardships?

Also, for the record, you were NEVER charged. You only had an authorization against your account and YOUR bank controls how long they will keep an authorization from an account holder.

I personally sent you this note below earlier today:
As we battle through this national emergency, our hope and thoughts are with you, your families, and friends. Please be safe.

Recently, you received a cancellation email regarding your order. Most of our online orders are filled with inventory from one of our 39 retail stores here in Maryland, DC, and VA.

On Thursday, 3/19 and again on Monday, 3/23, our Governor declared that all retail deemed “non-essential”, be closed at 5:00 PM on Monday afternoon. We had 4 hours to comply. Unfortunately, inventory for your order was physically located in a store which has closed due to this medical emergency. This created the cancellation on your order.

We will reopen our stores when the State allows businesses to resume and it’s safe for our employees to return to work. When this occurs, all of the inventory currently in our stores will be available to be purchased online.

Again, our apologies for the cancellation. Please be safe.

I personally had a terrible experience

I personally had a terrible experience. They didn't ship my order for a week and I really needed my shoes. When I emailed them they weren't very helpful at all, they turned the table on me and made me into the bad guy for reaching out. Terrible, don't ever buy from here unless your truly desperate.

Here are the facts to your order. Like all orders, we typically need 2-4 business days to process and ship orders as our online orders are filled with inventory from one of our retail stores where we have operated for over 70 years. You emailed us on day #3, and then again yesterday (day #4) at 3:50 PM. On your response, and I do quote your words
"Where the hell is my order? I've waited enough!".

My response to you was the following. It was appropriate as I do not wish my team members to be bullied by someone who is being unreasonable. My response (cut and pasted) to you yesterday:

Good Afternoon -
I'm sorry that's it's taken longer than normal and apologize however there is no need to use profanity. Clearly, you seem to be very angry.

We started our sale last week and it drove tremendous volume which pushed our processing teams behind the norm of 2-4 business days to process and ship orders, as we fill most web orders with inventory from one of our retail stores.

With that said, we have not actually charged you as it's only an credit authorization hold. We don't actually capture the authorization until we ship the order. If the timing doesn't work for you, we can cancel the order prior to shipping. If this is your desired wish, please reply and we'll comply immediately.

Please advise.

As the readers of this post will see, we were being very professional and reasonable with you. On your three item order, 2 lines have shipped today and I cancelled the remaining line as it was out of stock.

This site has items that items that I can't find on other popular sites. Only thing is that the shipping takes a little longer than usual.

Worth It

Good smooth shopping experience for my first time. I did have to call customer service to get my 10% discount code that never came with me signing up my email address...slight inconvenience but I got it and used it on my first purchase ever with company.

Quick shipping and fully stocked

I searched high and low for a specific item and found it at YCMC after months of searching on brand sites and at department stores. Also a plus was the fact that when I ordered the item it arrived at my door within three days, DURING THE HOLIDAYS without extra charge.
