HORRIBLE .

DONT SHOP OR ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS STUPID WEBSITE I ORDERED SHOES ON THE 9th OF JULY NEVER RECEIVED ANY TRACKING NUMBER CONFIRMATION NUMBER NOTHING ! THEN I EMAILED THE CUSTOMER SERVICE SHE OR HE OR WHOEVER WAS RUDE ! GONE TELL ME NO NEED TO CONTACT US WELL IF I SPENT MY MONEY I NEED INFROMATION ! ALSO ORDER ANOTHER PAIR OF SHOES DAYS LATER AND THAT NIGHT THEY CANCELED MY ORDER . IM NKT REALY TRIPPIN BEACUSE THEY SENT MY MONEY BACK BUT STILL I WANTED MY SHOES .

Pretty sure they lie about their stock.

I ordered a medium pink Nike hoodie, and their website said to expect a 4-7 delay due to the covid pandemic. As a courtesy, I waited 2 weeks to contact them, since they didn't contact me. I checked the listing that I had purchased from, funnily enough, I noticed that they indicated that they were out of size medium. They basically yanked my chain with automated emails until I got angry and called them out for lack of an effort to rectify their terrible service, to which I actually got a response. I'm pretty sure they wanted me to cancel my order since they didn't have an item to sell to me. They moaned about me using naughty language in an email and threatened to cancel the order. I began responding that I would respectfully email them every day until I got my tracking number, at which point they canceled the order. Apparently despite not having the time to put one item of clothing into a box (presumably because they did not have it, as I eluded to earlier) they had time to scour my social media and see that I had tweeted about their awful service and the ~kind lady~ working as their customer support rep. 0 star. Scammers through and through.

They reported my review, but not specifically for the complaints addressed, which only serves to vindicate me. These guys are the worst, I'll personally pay anyone who contacts me the value of any purchase they were considering from their site simply so that they will not place the order as planned.

Alright, I've had my fun. Nothing left to be reported here.

Do not order from this company

Do not order from this company. They are terrible. Caught a really great sale and almost a month later recieved nothing. I had a feeling they were waiting for me to cancel or they would and they did cancel. Offered me a 10 percent discount and consolation, what a joke.

I just talked to Kirby from YCMC - I totally understand and take back everything I said - what an AMAZING guy to talk to and represent the company - I look forward to doing lots of business with YCMC - I totally hate that I over reacted and did not give YCMC enough time to figure this all out. Kirby you are awesome!!!!! I feel like an complete idiot and just bought the same shoe again with YCMC , the company (Kirby) went above and beyond to get me this shoe and did. To make me really look dumb I called my bank YCMC had already released my payment 7/7/20 wow I over reacted and feel stupid. Thank you YCMC for going the extra mile. I will only buy shoes with you 🥰🥰🥰

I just tried calling you on the number from your order. I would like to address your post. First, we are a real company who has been in business for over 71 years. We operate retail stores through VA, MD, and DC.

Your order was placed on 6/30. At that time, and authorization hold was established against your account by your bank for your transaction. (This is normal for online purchasing.) It is not an actual charge....it is only an authorization hold by your bank but it looks like a charge to you since you don't have access to your funds.

We do not actually capture and charge cards until items ship confirm. Yesterday, your order was cancelled due to out of stock position on the item you purchased. At that time, your bank was notified of the cancellation and per their policies and protocols, your authorization will fall off. We have zero ability to your bank's policies and procedures per their timing of dropping the authorizations.

On the subject of not reaching us, our Call Center (phones) has been closed due to Covid precautions since March. When you call 1-866-289-9262, you will hear a message stating the call center is closed but all customer service support is done through email at services@ycmc.com. We also have a link on the top banner for Covid-19 info and store openings updates. When clicking on this link, it takes you to a page where you can reference any/all customer contact points in stores and online.

I hope this addresses your concerns and questions.

It’s more of a hit and miss with them

It’s more of a hit and miss with them! 2.5 to 3 Stars Only! If you’re on the lucky side of things, it can be great or good. However, if you’re not, it can be very inconvenient to you. They seem to have issues with their inventory at times regarding to what they’ll have in stock. That’s unacceptable and need to be improved at some point. So, it’s a 50/50 chance that you’re going to receive your items that you’d purchased(But only of those in high demand I will assume). I’m not the first, and I’m probably not going to be last to comment on this. However, I do wish them the best!

Was charged twice once on 6/26/20 12:00…

Was charged twice once on 6/26/20 12:00 placed the shoes tooo money out acct $80 , then when they shipped the shoes , it’ took another $80 out and Ik I paid for them on 26th because on had that amount in my acct , so today I put my money for rent in my acct and they took $80 of it I need a refund of $80!!

Terrible service & if you send email their very rude. I’m still waiting on my package that hasn’t even been shipped yet. Their excuse is Covid . . . But if you wanna be a top dawg in this business you gotta know how to deliver under pressure & they can’t . . . They had shoes listed on sale so I brought with a discount but I believe they don’t have the shoe in stock so killing time ! Poor business , I wouldn’t be surprised if I don’t get a refund & my package never come. I will update but as of now it’s looking real scammy

The Only One

I originally ordered some Champion shoes from a sporting goods store (D-i-c-k's) that never came in and I received a refund. Upon searching I found ycmc.com, the only other seller to have these shoes as they were out of stock everywhere else. I wasn't in a rush so the processing taking more than a day or two didn't bother me. Shipping was very fast, sooner than the expected date, and absolute perfect condition when they arrived. I had never heard of YCMC before but I will be buying more shoes from them in the future and recommending to everyone. I had no problems at all.

Issue resolved

Had to cancel my order due to my birthday rapidly approaching and URGENTLY needing my shoes, Kirby canceled the order for me and I received my refund back to my card in roughly an hour or less.

We have been in business for almost 71 years and continue to operate 39 retail locations in MD, DC, and VA. All of the products we sell in our stores and online are directly from our vendor partners where we are approved reseller for all their products.

Canceled order - Kirby L is a problem!

They canceled my order due to inventory issues, so I asked if they could just substitute a different color in the same shoe (which was the same price). Rather than taking a reasonable approach, Kirby L proceeded to look up where I live and tell me that the pandemic wasn’t as bad as in MD, which was both creepy and weird. Kirby also accused me of having an “elitist attitude” for asking for a substitution and told me to never order from them again. Kirby L is a problem as many other reviews indicate. DO NOT ORDER FROM YCMC!

You should tell the truth in your postings. Your viewpoint of fulfillment, order management, operating issues, and challenges driven by Covid 19 were not accurate. Most of your viewpoints were not accurate. No stars!!! I ordered a hoodie and never received it! I had been checking the status of my order for weeks and it kept saying label had been created but not shipped so after over a month of checking I finally reached out to them and they said the label was created but my package was never sent cause something happened with my payment. So I reached out to my bank and found out that was a LIE!! So I never got my hoodie and they took my money! So now my bank is disputing this matter. Now I’m stuck with bottoms of the outfit and no matching top. I will never buy from here again!!!

Great shopping experience at ycmc.com!

I am a “shopaholic” and usually visit physical stores 4-6 times monthly.

But with COVID-19, I had to adjust with the temporary closures of stores and shop online for the first time.

And my experience was a positive one.

I found it fascinating and honorable for this company’s customer service to be so timely and punctual during a pandemic and economic downturn.

I e-mailed customer service regarding a glitch in my order with a coupon code it’s website promoted. My message was addressed within 1 business day and they followed through BEYOND the initial agreed resolution once my item shipped. Item arrived two days after tracking was sent.

I highly recommend shopping at Shoe City’s website!

Horrible customer service and inventory management.

I hate getting an order confirmation then 10 days later getting a canceled notification of half the thing I ordered but the other stuff is still coming. Inventory isn't up to date.
Also, I purchased some Jordan's. They were mailed to me with a security sensor attached to it. I contacted customer service and Laura@YCMC instructed me to remove the security sensor myself with a screw driver and Pliers or go out during this shelter in place and return the shoes to mail. After all the trouble I went through for something I paid for Ycmc gave me a 40% of code to use on there site. So I was excited and purchased 2 more pair of shoes with my discount code just to get an email that my item were canceled. How convenient righ!
I am the type of shopper who like to put outfits together as I shop. So I buy things that go together. Unfortunately this website doesn't actually have the items that they list on there website.. NEVER AGAIN. ITS A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!! DONT SHOP WITH THESE PEOPLE
