Great experience buying an MG with Rob Cosford at Vospers. We were particularly impressed with how he was one of the few car salesmen to talk to both of us - it's incredible how many only spoke to my husband and assumed I knew nothing and had no say in the purchase. Looking forward to receiving our new car!

It's not all bad
My husband and I bought a new Ford Explorer from Vospers, the sales person Natalie Keogh was very friendly and explained everything well. Unfortunately after 7 weeks there was a fault on the car and it was returned. I spoke to Natalie, and she organised everything for us, rental car, daily updates, she has been an absolute star. Even though we have now decided to replace the faulty vehicle, Natalie has been so helpful, chasing everyone and keeping us informed, she has gone above and beyond, and has definitely made a stressful time more bearable. I cannot thank her enough.

I recently bought a van from John May at Vospers Truro and couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the very beginning, he was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and easy to deal with. The whole process was handled quickly and efficiently, with all the paperwork made straightforward and stress-free.
What really stood out was his commitment to customer service — he even stayed late to accommodate us, which made a big difference and was greatly appreciated. Thanks to his efforts, everything was ready in time for us to take the van on holiday without any worries.
Communication was excellent throughout, and nothing felt like too much trouble. He truly went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a hassle-free and professional buying experience.

Poor customer service.
We had the timing belt changed on our van last April by Vospers at a huge cost of £1600. After looking into it my understanding is that these now needing to be changed at 100,000 miles instead of 150,000 was a fault of Ford’s in the first place - so an unexpected cost! Nevertheless we paid for the work to be done. In January we discovered it was leaking oil from the timing belt cover, that Vospers replaced. On looking at the back of our invoice it said we were only under warranty for 3 months. The van was recently in for service and our very loyal mechanic said this should be rectified by the main dealer who carried out the work as it shouldn’t be leaking after a year - let alone 8 months! So we called Vospers and after us paying £1600, they were not interested as the works were only under warranty for a year - not the three months stated on the back of the invoice, so we could have called in January but are now out by less than a month. So for £1600 they are not interested in rectifying a mistake that will now cost us hundreds of pounds to fix! Would not recommended, overpriced and poor standard of workmanship. An oil leak after 8 months on a well looked after van…..

Good experience
So after having to go through a performance of rejecting a van at another dealership and being left with out one as it broke down also I needed to find a van fairly quickly to keep my small business on the road!
After looking around and not really knowing who to trust after the last van saga and with people mapping vans privately I was really cautious of who I used!
I found a van on vospers that could fit the bill there wasn’t any pictures so I called on a Saturday and spoke with John at Truro vospers he explained it wasn’t ready and still up at the prep stop so I put a deposit down, prep took a week but John went through what they had done etc when I went to see it and test drive it and they really did go the extra on their prep side, John come on the test drive with us and explained what did what and I was really happy with the van sorted the paperwork and drove away that day.
John knew how important it was to get back on the road and made sure it was possible. Second vehicle from vospers hopefully it’s as good as the first. Thanks John.

Amazing service

Above & Beyond
I met a young man , Ben working at Vospers today who was so helpful in repairing my Motorhome wing mirror that a tree branch had whacked and did some damage. He took the time to look at what had happened and made sure the wing mirror was all working with the correct spare parts fitted. It’s not often you meet an employee that goes above and beyond the call of duty. Thankyou Ben.

I had a small issue with some parts I had ordered from Jeep Exeter ( although the issue was with Jeep in general not Vospers ) I was quickly contacted by Mike Abbotsbury from Vospers who agreed with my point of view . He went completely above and beyond what anyone could have expected . He contacted Jeeps directly to raise the issue who didn’t seem to concerned so he took it upon himself to resolve the issue himself .To be honest I am still surprised at the extent he went to to resolve it . He was in constant contact keeping me up to date on how things were going and seemed genuinely intent on making sure the issue was sorted a that I was 100% happy with the outcome . Hats off to you Mike you are a true asset to the company . Massive thanks for all you done .

Despite the big job of a clutch bearing…
Despite the big job of a clutch bearing inspection I was not told that it would not be worth taking a look at least and to fix the issue but instead it was taken for a test drive and that was all for £174.
They offered to clean the vehicle as part of having it in the garage and that didn’t even happen! I’d rather have paid more to even see the issue regardless of the time taken to do so.

Buying a new etransit
It was a bit of a worry when my new van was recalled for tyres before it was registered but John may did his best to look after me even by giving me the demonstrator van to keep me moving whilst my van was sold and waiting for Ford to sort out this issue,but Vospers got the issue solved and I got a great van to drive around in

Exceptional Service
I went in to Vospers in Truro on a Saturday morning, without making an appointment. I was dealt with by John May. John was exceptional and went through all the options available and was not pushy at all. Very pleased with the service I received from the initial visit to the handover. We purchased a new E Transit Custom. John also organised for the van to be ready for collection, complete with the additional
Items that we had added. Plus the sign writing.
Great service and would definitely recommend.

Very positive experience with Vospers in Turo.
Part ex'd our old MG for a newer one with Charles, all went smoothly. Charles was very refreshing to deal with.
No games, no agressive upselling on the new car, no down valuining the part ex, offered a fair price for both, threw in some extras, and even delivered it to our local branch
