What a fantastic time I had,after reading that lots of people had waited many attempts to get air born,I didn't think my first attempt would go ahead,and to my surprise here I was with 15 other people and matt our great pilot and his team,ready to fly on Sat 22.8.26 at Grantham in Lincolnshire. The conditions were perfect.never before had I flown in a hot air balloon,but thanks to such an amazing team at virgin I'd do it again.thanks matt,and your team it was a fantastic exsperience.

Ballooning Over Bath
We loved our morning balloon ride over Bath! The pilot, Nobby was fantastic, knowledgeable and good fun. The ground crew, Joe and Glynn were also brilliant. We would definitely go again and recommend the experience to anyone looking for something a bit different!

What a fantastic experience
What a fantastic experience ! There was a half hour delay while we waited for the wind to drop a little bit. Helping to get the balloon opened out and ready was good fun then watching it inflate was amazing. Then you're up and away, honestly it feels great. Everyone helping to get it back in the huge bag again meant it didn't take as long as I thought it would. The pilot and staff did an amazing job and it was a good landing. They were very professional, friendly and helpful. Also every time I spoke to the customer service lady quite a few times over the phone over many months she was so nice and couldn't do enough to help. I definitely recommend this to anyone who's ever thought of doing it and those who haven't I'd say if you're looking for an experience to share with someone you can't go wrong with this. Thank you to the whole team for a great time

Well worth the wait ... Excellent!
Although had to wait some time for the flight to take place (obviously safety comes first) the flight was well worth the wait!
The whole experience from start to finish was excellent. It wasn't just about the flight - the involvement of setting up and dismantling the balloon made it even more special - would highly recommend!

Perfect balloon flight
After years of wanting to take a balloon flight I finally got my wish today — and it was everything I hoped for. Our pilot Nobby Simmons was fantastic: easy to talk to, full of knowledge, and just one of those people you instantly feel comfortable with. His ground crew were great too. The views over Bath were breathtaking, the landing was perfect, and the whole experience felt magical from start to finish. I’d absolutely recommend Nobby and his team.

Our Pilot Robert was really friendly and knowledgeable
Our Pilot Robert was really friendly, very experienced and full of flying knowledge. He was able to go into details about the development of balloon and zeppelin flying, the details of materials used here and in other countries, which I found very interesting. But if you didn't care about the little details of that, then there was a lot of interesting information for anyone else too. For example the way and direction a balloon flys depending on temperatures and and landscape. If that still wasn't anything you'd care about, then surely the following would be your thing.
It was very relaxing and quiet. Lovely to see the landscape moving below, watching the wildlife run around, and watching the sun rising.
We did have many cancellations and waited a long time to make it happen, but it was worth it.

We really enjoyed the balloon flight
We really enjoyed the balloon flight, after many cancellations due to weather conditions Saturday was the day it happened for us.
Beautiful day, an evening flight was perfect over the South Downs.
The pilot Chris was very informative of what was happening while preparing for the flight, the ground staff were really pleasant to talk too while preparing along with the balloon and were answering the groups questions of interest. It was nice taking part in helping to get the balloon ready before and after our flight. We will have nice memories.
We would recommend taking a flight with Virgin Balloons.
