The Bassem Youssef event was cancelled/postponed. We were given no information regarding that. On the day of the event they sent me an email reminding that the event was on and see you there! When I called them to say event is canceled they asked me for proof!!
Am I supposed to tell them or are they supposed to tell me.
Definitely will not use this company again.

I purchased tickets through this company, and then used their platform to list them for sale. The platform was ridiculously complex to use, an endless loop, no response to emails, the chatbot kept getting stuck and the contact form would not recognise my details.

The tickets did not appear on my phone until 8am the day of the event. Then I had to download the app and go through verification. Then it made me sign up for Ticketmaster. Once again I had to downloaded the app, then create passwords, and go through verification codes. I was already on my way to the event. I couldn’t do this while driving so I had to to pull over for 20 minutes. It was highly inconvenient. I also didn’t receive the tickets I originally bought. I received different tickets. I spent almost $1200. The only way I recommend you is if you give me a refund.

Viagogo is one of the worse companies to buy tickets 1 hour before when you are ready to go to the shows they sent you an email saying that the ticket is cancelled and needs to be replaced I hope no one buys in this website is a joke and disgusting, I was ready in the uber when I got the email saying that I can’t go to the Max amini show in Sydney because my ticket was cancelled when I got a confirmation of 10 days in advance

I ordered different tickets to the ones they sent me. Had to pay $15 per ticket in fees. I can't use the ones they allocated as they are for children and for a different area. Their response was it is not their problem as I hit the accept button when I ordered them. I am the goose, but now I know know better!

Dodgiest company - don’t purchase tickets through them.
I purchased tickets for an AFL game - just GA tickets and they cost a fortune, first or all, Viagogo add a ridiculously priced booking fee considering their company doesn’t do ANYTHING to actually book the tickets they take your money for!

They waited 3 hours before the event was due to start and emailed me to tell me the seller was having issues finding tickets and that my tickets couldn’t be provided and an alternative option was available via a link provided. The link was invalid. Their customer support via the app were completely brain dead and unhelpful and wouldn’t do anything to help me organise a refund etc.
I eventually got a refund after multiple emails were sent - apparently this is lucky because most people don’t get their refund and have to go through all the efforts of having their bank refund the money and go after Viagogo themselves.
After all this, my bank had to cancel my cards due to Viagogo being scammers and now I’m inconvenienced by having to wait weeks for new cards and have no method of payment in the meantime.

Absolute jokers - not sure how they’re still legally running as everyone seems to have this issue and apparently it’s been a known scam for many years.

A shockingly terrible platform to use. You are guaranteed to either be severely disappointed with the viagogo’s service, or scammed.

Very disappointing experience with Viagogo. I would strongly advise people to avoid using them.

I purchased two tickets and was charged $158 per ticket, but when the actual tickets arrived by email, they showed a price of only $101 including GST per ticket. On top of that, I was charged an additional $64 booking fee.

For two tickets, I paid $380 in total, while the face value shown on the tickets was only $202.

What makes it worse is that there is no cancellation option. If your plans change or you realise you have overpaid, your only real option is to try to resell the tickets, often for much less than what you originally paid.

I later found that I could have purchased tickets elsewhere and saved more than $150.

The pricing, fees and lack of flexibility were extremely disappointing. Based on my experience, I would recommend checking every other ticketing option before using Viagogo.

Avoid them if you can. I certainly will not use Viagogo again.

We loved the experience, however we were very disappointed with out seating. We ordered our tickets online back in June and paid several hundred Australian dollars for them. At the time of booking we requested seats in row B. Upon arrival we were up in the top of the stand in row BB which I am positive we did not order. The show itself was wonderful, but very disappointed with the seating. Having travelled so far to see the show t h e seating put a bit of a downer on the night.

Stay away from this site. Was totally ripped off. Bought tickets at inflated prices then had to sell as I was unable to attend. Sold at a reduced price and in the end they would not pay me as apparently the tickets I got through them and then sold on were not valid. total scam! Customer service sucks big time.

I bought tickets for Atsuko Okatsuka's Big Bowl Tour in April for her August Show. Extremely disappointing experience. My ticket order was cancelled by Viagogo only three hours before the performance because the seller had failed to deliver the tickets. I was offered replacement tickets, but none were available, leaving me with a refund but no way of attending the event.

I understand that Viagogo is a marketplace and that sellers may fail to fulfil an order. What I find unacceptable is that a customer can be left without a ticket only hours before an event, when there is no realistic opportunity to make alternative arrangements. A refund of the ticket price does not compensate for the considerable inconvenience and potential travel and accommodation costs that can be incurred when attending an event, particularly for someone travelling from overseas.

Viagogo may technically fulfil its stated guarantee by offering a refund, but from a customer's perspective this is a very poor guarantee when the failure occurs just 3 hours before the event. This experience has seriously undermined my confidence in using Viagogo again.

Didn’t get the tickets I ordered and tried to speak to customer service and got nothing. Absolute disaster organisation

Advertising tickets at lower prices, after at checkout way more expensive almost fifty percent on it. Very disappointing with this site ,, should tells the final price ,with fees and taxes before purchasing.

This platform misleadingly claims that only a small percentage of tickets remain, creating a false sense of urgency and pressuring buyers into paying unreasonable and inflated prices. Unfortunately, the platform appears prominently in Google search results, making it easy to mistake it for an official ticket seller. **Do not buy tickets from this site.**

My card initially blocked my account, when buying tickets, because it flagged it as spam. I couldn’t end up going and tried sell the tickets was unbelievably hard. You can’t call, because it’s overseas, so essentially I wouldn’t even try. I wouldn’t recommend going through this site as all. Save the hassle!

I was told the tickets would be send to my address a few days before the event. I’m Australian so I was already in Europe by that point. Had countless conversations trying to change them to e-tickets, and they said that they had to go via email. Made all these arrangements with family members to somehow try to get the tickets to me express when they arrived. About a week out, they sent them via eticket… all that hassle, time and stress for nothing.

Where do I start. I go hit with extra service and delivery fees during checkout process, they were higher than the cost of the tickets. I tried to sell the tickets as I was away for work the night of the performance. I used their recommended price option which was about $10 more per ticket price (not including the extra fees) and they wouldn’t approve my listing to be advertised. I then contacted their waste of time support. I was told they wouldn’t approve the listing as you’re not allowed to sell for a certain percentage over the original price(which they were not). I lowered the posting to $5 below the cost of the ticket thinking some return was better than nothing. No such luck, they still don’t get listed. In my experience it’s just a big rorting company.

Charged well above standard rate for tickets with exorbitant hidden. Viagogo is intentionally deceptive and does not respond to complaints. They have been fined by the ACCC and also had their appeal dismissed, yet seem to continue the same practices.
They rely on people clicking the first option for tickets on a search and then urgency for securing tickets, that they misleadingly, state are almost sold out. Viagogo = SCAM
