Worst experience ever, i created a listing for 2 extra tickets i had that a couple of friends said they can't go, I got a buyer for the tickets and an email saying you have 24 hours to confirm the sale or they will charge you, i spoke to someone and explained i don't have tickets yet and they said its ok you won't be charged and we have cancelled the listing. That was in march 2026, i finally got my tickets on 7th September and created a new listing for the sale, and sold my ticket's and confirmed the transfer was complete, before I had a chance to cancel the listing i had someone else wanting to buy the tickets I just sold, and from 8th September till the 12th September I have been asking them to please cancel the listing and they didn't, when the concert was finished and done i thought I would get my money but I didn't because of the sale back in march they have decided to charge me for it, i would never recommend using this company for any ticket purchases, they are a rip off and the price gouge you big time, they will charge you double to what you would pay through a properly run site not a bunch of rip off merchants

You need to be able to allow the tickets to be saved to a digital wallet . That’s the only issue I have .

Total waste of time and money. I purchased, for overpriced tickets (from hidden fees) and I have only received one ticket out of two purchased. Trying to contact the company or the seller is near impossible.
My recommendation - DONT USE THEM!!

WORST TICKET SITE EVER.
Viagogo was the paid ad at the top of my Google search, and I clicked through without realising it wasn't the official seller. On 23 September I ended up buying tickets that turned out to be nearly DOUBLE THE PRICE OF TICKETS STILL AVAILABLE for the same event through official seller — then ViaGoGO added an extra $100 fee at checkout.

I messaged them within five minutes to explain the mistake and ask for a refund. Their answer: all sales are final, no refund.

This isn't an isolated case. When I worked at a theatre in the UK, we'd regularly see around 50 patrons a night turned away at the door holding SCAM tickets bought through Viagogo.

I'll be reporting this to the ACCC. Happy to update this review if anyone from Viagogo actually wants to sort this out. Until then — avoid this site completely.

After ordering tickets to a performance in Canberra, Viagogo added $106 to the final balance, as fees.
This organisation appear to use ambush tactics to add fees of around 30% to the advertised price of tickets.
Avoid them.

I have had the worst experience I had a fraudulent transaction through my bank account buying post Malone tickets via Apple Pay . I had requested a refund as this transaction and they refused and said you can resell the tickets online through there website. The hardest thing is we are a single income family of 5 and when close to $500 dollars is taken out it hurts our family I have been disputing this for a while and trying to do this with my bank aswell and they have been very unpleasant. The hardest thing is now the post Malone concert is postponed thinking that was another avenue I could use to get my money back but because the concert isn’t cancelled I still can’t get my money back

Absolutely terrible experience — DO NOT USE VIAGOGO!

I purchased three tickets through Viagogo and never received them. I spent over two hours trying to get help, with extremely frustrating customer service and no proper solution.

The worst part was that I was standing at the event gate ready to enter, and Viagogo was still unable to provide my tickets or organise suitable replacement tickets. I was eventually told they were unable to find replacement tickets, leaving me with the possibility of completely missing the event after already paying for three tickets.

Thankfully, Ticketek still had a few tickets available, so I had no choice but to purchase new tickets again just to get inside. Otherwise, I would have completely missed out.

If you want to ruin your day and spend hours stressing at the entrance of an event, book through Viagogo. I absolutely would not recommend Viagogo to anyone and will never use them again.

The only positive part of this experience was Ammie from Viagogo, who was genuinely helpful and did her best to organise my refund at the last minute. Thank you, Ammie, for actually helping when I needed it most.

Save yourself the stress — avoid Viagogo and buy your tickets through an official ticketing platform instead.

Thought I was buying a ticket to a show from what should have been and HONEST Australian website. Ticket advertised the same price as Ticketek $180 but when I hit apple pay it pushed through a payment for $250!
You cannot contact them so currently disputing with my bank.DO NOT BUY FROM THIS WEBSITE.

Recieved my tickets today for Ten Tenors. I paid 148AUD for premium stalls. Tickets are for standard stalls valued at 120AUD. Not to mention the extra for booking fee. So i paid 448AUD for two ticketd that have a face value of 240AUD thats a rip of 208AUD. I would strongly suggest not to deal with this company under any circumstances. Not able to contact them via email. This lesson cost me over $200 hope you don't get caught.

Do not purchase tickets through Viagogo! It is a third-party ticket marketplace. I have repeatedly requested a refund, including within 12 hours of purchase, but have been refused. Viagogo continues sending almost identical responses suggesting I resell the tickets, yet I never received the tickets in the first place. My bank is now investigating the transaction. I have also lodged a complaint with WA Consumer Protection and intend to raise the matter with the ACCC. As I am travelling interstate, I cannot risk being unable to attend the event. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Viagogo.

If I could leave a NEGATIVE STAR review I would! I went online to order tickets for an event & was quoted $127 per ticket, so I ordered 2 tickets for a total $254 + I expected a booking fee. A confirmation email from Viagogo was sent, but NO TICKETS OR RECEIPT OF PURCHASE arrived...I check my bank account to see a $520.90 ($505.30 tickets + a $15.60 international booking fee) charge on my card from them!!! ..I then Google the Viagogo website to find that you Cannot get for a refund from them, though they Can Resell! (though Who would want to pay for tickets not worth what I payed for them⁉️) Now I have had to take these NON AUTHORISED CHARGES up with my bank, so 🤞> 🤬!

I read so many negative reviews but i had a perfect experience. Ticket purchase was simple, price was good (not inflated) and the tickets worked just fine at the gate. We had a brilliant night

Good service and being notified,but actually waiting until the morning of the event is scary and nervous,especially if you have booked travel and hotel, tickets need to be released at least 48 hours before event

Bought a ticket for Andre Rieu in Glasgow. Didn't get the seat I paid for but one very close to where I wanted to be.
Left messages to this on their feedback, tried e-mailing them but I'm still waiting for some kind of response from them.
It's going to be a very, very cold day in hell before I deal with Viagogo

I got my tickets way before the event and had a great time !!

The worst. They falsely claim you can resell your tickets which they are not letting me do without telling me the reason. Getting emails that it was a 'security' measure without understanding what that means since I am only trying to resell tickets i got for an event that I am not going, bought from their site at the same price I got them. Customer service is also the worst. They are replying to emails by saying nothing helpful at all. 'Automated services' they are alleging and nothing to do about it.

We didnt receive out tickets until the day before. Poor seats right at the back of the stalls. Ticket had a price of $99 written on it and we paid $635 for three tickets. Huge charges and won't get caught by this company again. Very disappointing.

bought 2 adult tickets receive 2 children tickets to the crows bulldogs. Contacted them asking for a credit. They said they checked and I did order childrens tickets. Paid 197.95 which id 3 times the price of adult tickets, no credit and said for me to put on resale. What a lot of crap. I kept the tickets for my sons and when getting to adlaide oval they were fake tickets. What a scam definitely use viagogo
