Why only store credit?

I followed the size charts on the website, but still the romper did not fit as I was expecting. I returned it, but was only able to get store credit. Now, the size I wanted is sold out forever and I cannot combine the store credit with a coupon code, so I’m forced into a corner with these options. I do not want to purchase another romper in a different pattern, so I have to find other items to purchase with the credit (for full price—which I wouldn’t have done had I not had the credit). Feels like my money was wasted.

Vanessa Mooney is now a scam

As soon as my refund hit, I rushed to the website to leave a scathing review, only to see there’s no option to leave reviews. I’m not surprised, given the product I received. I ordered the amparo rosary earrings because my friend bought a pair years ago and I’ve always liked them. The photos show a high quality statement piece. What I got instead—for SEVENTY DOLLARS, plus shipping!—was cheap costume jewelry. I honestly couldn’t believe it. Basically plastic, a hideous fake-gold yellow color, with diamond studs that look like they came from a 2000s bedazzler gun. Again, for $70. Any piece that large and loud has to be high quality for you to pull it off, but here they didn’t even try. Not at all as pictured; the company must have changed a lot since my friend bought her pair. And the audacity to charge a price approaching fine jewelry shocks me. If Vanessa Mooney permitted reviews, I could have seen customer photos and read about others’ experiences, and I would never have invested in a product from them. The only thing that saves this company from being a complete scam, based on by experience, is that I was able to return the fake product (though I had to pay for shipping, so I still lost money—do they now get by on return fees?). It’s a shame because their vision for pieces is really cool, but I guess they gave up on execution.

Scam

I bought an item on February 6th and it was supposed to be shipped within two weeks. It did not actually ship until over two months later. Due to the extremely late shipment, I was not home to receive the package and it is now missing. If it had shipped when it was supposed to, I would have received it. VM wont do anything to help me and have completely refused to acknowledge how THEIR error has caused me to waste $225 on a now missing item.

Quality has tanked

I ordered a gold choker and set of earrings from Vanessa Mooney a few years ago and the quality was decent — decided to replace both when the finish wore off the choker from consistent wear and I sadly lost one of the earrings. I was shocked when the new jewelry came — cheap, cheap, cheap materials. Not even the same jewelry but it is the same price. Never ordering from VM again.

I ordered over $300 worth of jewelry and paid for FED EX 2 DAY SHIPPING! I have been waiting a week for jewelry that I paid a $40 extra dollars to arrive in TWO DAYS and ON TIME! First time customer and NEVER shopping here again! What a DISAPPOINTMENT! STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY PURCHASE! Will do a charge back soon!

jewelry arrives broken

jewelry arrives broken. after taking over a month to ship out and threatening to charge back, customer service finally got back to me and shipped my items. the jewelry was very cheap and plastic as others have mentioned. i ordered a locket which did not close when it arrived. i had to jump through hoops to prove that this jewelry did not arrive in perfect condition. eventually a return was accepted but it was an arduous process. everything else was very overpriced for tarnishing within a few wears. definitely not worth the price point as it looks and feels as cheap as it is. it's sad that they won't listen to their customers about improving the quality of the product.

Fabric quality is lacking

I sadly wish I could give this company a better rating as I love the aesthetic and brand ethos. I had debated leaving a review, but withheld for a while. (I had ordered in 2O22 for reference, but there is a timeline limit) I had placed my order a while ago and the quality was tragically low. The dress (Elizabeth romper) I had was sized so small that I was unable to even button it closed. I loved the fabric, but it seemed worn to the point that the seams came undone in the back upon trying it on. The same thing happened with the corset I had purchased; along the boning, the mesh panel split when I attempted to tighten the lacing. I unfornately could not make use of either garment shortly after receiving it. I only added an extra strap because I was able to upcycle the romper to wear as a skirt by folding down its bodice. I would discourage others from purchasing clothing here because if you use a discount code they do not take exchanges or refunds and their sizing is far too unreliable to blind buy.

They literally suck

They literally suck. It’s been a month and my order HASNT EVEN SHIPPED!! I tried contacting customer support twice and no response. DO NOT order from this company. There’s a reason they don’t let you leave reviews on their actual website.

Update: they responded and said it shipped within the given window. They told me my necklace would ship by July 26th to August 10th. It obviously did not ship in that window so I had to try customer service 3 times before they told me the necklace that is “made to order” is completely sold out and that I would have to wait another 2-3 weeks. I did not receive my package until September 3rd. It was priority shipping too.

Horrible

Horrible, horrible horrible please please please do not fall for their scam. I made the mistake of buying sale items and cannot get a refund. I’m so embarrassed that I spent money on this company thinking I was getting some thing that was marketed in the pictures looks nothing like the actual item. This is so embarrassing and disgusting. Everything looks like it comes from China. All wrapped in cheap Plastic. The clothes are completely see-through and thread falling apart. It’s the worst company I’ve seen in a long time.

The Lowest Quality I've seen in a long time!

I bought a necklace for my sister for Xmas. Spent 100 Euros. When it arrived, it was the cheapest piece of jewelry I've seen in the last years. I'm a man, 37 years, and when I opened it... damn I started to laugh.
My first thought was - "Garbage!"
Don't fall for their marketing ladies. That's the same jewelry you find on cheap hippie markets. Not even!

Plus. When I tried to send it back, they didn't give my money back despite being on time and they took 1 week longer to send it. It was supposed to be a XMas gift, it became a New's Year Joke.

Amparo Rosary

Got the Amparo Rosary and it looked amazing but after a week of regular wearing and reading the care instructions the back of the sword started to tarnish into a red color…I don’t own or wear red clothing. The sword is also very fragile. I looked down and saw that it was bent? I’m not sure if I didn’t notice it when I first got it but I always take it off and put it in my jewelry case when not wearing it. It was out of the return policy and I decided to bend it back into place which took 0 effort. it bends extremely easily.

wanted to pamper myself and buy some quality jewelry for once, spent over 200 dollars just to get some plastic in a ziplock bag!!! I am appalled by the low quality of this jewelry, it is definitely not what they advertise. Seriously looks like it's from SHEIN, worse than forever 21. I've bought 25 dollar etsy jewlery that is better quality than this. Please please please don't waste your money I PROMISE the necklaces do NOT match what you see online it's honestly so sad, I mean my jaw dropped for how much I paid and I never spend this much on jewelery. I know they look super cute online but don't fall for it!! Better to go to a quality jeweler in person :((

Embarrassed I fell for the marketing

Embarrassed I fell for the marketing. Ordered 300 worth of jewelry. Took months to arrive. (One order hasn’t yet and somehow got returned to sender and I’ve been trying to get a response to reship while willing to pay and nobody has answered.)

The moment I opened the packaging I was mortified how cheap the product was. It literally plastic. Please don’t waste your money, so many other brands out there making quality pieces who actually care and respond to messages. This is a literal scam.
