I had not heard the voices of my parents and grandparents for over 50 years as they were locked in old and delicate reel to reel audio tapes. I had always been frightened to send them off lest they be lost or damaged beyond repair and never thought I would hear them again.
However, family circumstances and the passage of time meant that I really had to get someone to get them digitally transferred before it was too late. To this end I entrusted Ian and his team to perform this task for me.
I can say that from first contact until final delivery Ian was both helpful and sympathetic. The finished product arrived on time and the sound quality was first class - I could not have wished for better!
Needless to say these family historical documents have been shared throughout our now extended family who have been both fascinated and enthralled. This Christmas present was the best ever and a very emotional time for us all.

One of those rare occasions where you find a really good company that offers an excellent helpful service at a reasonable price.

I was searching for someone reliable to transfer our priceless family cinefilm so something more modern. After reading all the reviews I decided to use Ian, and I am so glad I did. He transferred 12 reels of cinefilm, including footage of my Mum and Dad's wedding, and video of my grandparents as well as my brother, cousins and myself as young children that we had never seen. Footage from the 70s has been converted to USB and uploaded to the cloud so I have been able to share the precious video with the wider family. What a fantastic service, with great communication throughout, and at good value for money. I cannot rate Timeless Moments more highly. My Dad and grandparents are no longer with us, but my Mum, aunt and uncle are all delighted with the memories, and the younger generation are equally delighted to be able to experience the events from 50 years ago. Great efficient service from Ian Litchfield who managed to create mp4 files from old cine-films some dating back to 1955. Additional Proteus AI upgrading of the films provided a further significant improvement in picture quality. Good value for money and will be using them again.

I'm not an expert with these transfers but Ian explained if they would work and how to do the order, which I might have struggled with online as I didn't really know what I needed. Communication was timely and everything was dealt with quickly when it cropped up. He was happy to share his knowledge and when I had an add on request he went the extra mile without hesitation. By the end he felt like a mate. That's how to run a business.

Excellent service. Ian responded immediately to my email enquiry and offered a telephone call to explain the process involved in transferring an old cine film of my parents wedding to digital mode. I posted my cine film and Ian confirmed safe receipt which I really appreciated. I received the iCloud link within two days and my cine film was posted back to me the same week. It was very moving to see the my parents wedding and family members in their younger years. It's my parents 59th wedding anniversary in August and I'm planning a wee celebration which will involve a surprise showing of the film.
