All good except the "Change" machine was not working and we didn't have change for our 2 grandkids.

Although the kids had a good time at…
Although the kids had a good time at Tenpin Braehead the overall experience reflects this rating.
The venue was so understaffed. Granted it was during the school holidays but I feel provisions should be made for such times.
The queue was huge on getting there, we arrived in plenty of time which I was glad about and we go onto our lane at our allotted time.
The kids had a burger and chips as part of the deal I bought and when it arrived it was hard and cold. I ordered a coffee through the QR code on the lane 15 minutes into the game of bowling only to have to go to the bar myself after the game to collect this order.
We managed to get a ball stuck on the lane. I pressed the call service button and after around 10 minutes I had to go and find someone to help us. She arrived a few minutes later and apologised for our wait.
A few of the machines I lost money on due to malfunction and rather than wait in the massive queue I cut my losses.
The kids won some tickets but again I refused to wait in the massive queue and gifted the tokens to another family with the promise to my kids I would go buy them a small toy to make up for it.
Overall my experience with 4 young kids wasn’t a great one. Thankfully I managed to shield the kids from my annoyance and they had fun.
I would return to Tenpin but in the hope that there was more staff on the floor for the volume of customers they have in a day. Hats off to the staff though they were so overworked and apologetic at every interaction with them.

We tried out the crazy golf…
We tried out the crazy golf unfortunately at least 3 of the holes were not functioning correctly which was very frustrating, later we found out the golf is a separate company but with no representation we can only complain online should be a better system in place, but the golf was very good on the whole.

The Harlow Tenpin
The Harlow Tenpin, has no air conditioning and was ridiculously hot.
Also we ordered drinks and they took 20 minutes to come, but they continued to serve other customers around us as soon as they walked up.
We had a pizza in the deal and we was still eating it when our hour was coming to the end, the stuff was standing next to us asking if we was done. When said no they waited for the hour to come to an end and tried to take it. We said no and to leave us.
It was the most uncomfortable I have felt in what was ment to be a great family fun day.

All good apart from the food which took way too long to arrive .The hamburger I ordered were probably the worst I've ever had ,no relish or mayo ,no pickle or lettuce
Just an over cooked dry burger between a very unappealing bun.Who ever cooked it obviously didn't care!

No air con on a hot day full of people..when I complaint to manager all she could say air con has not been working for over 1 week.. and there is nothing they could do.

Upon arrival there was not many people…
Upon arrival there was not many people waiting to be served, great customer service at the desk, we were allocated our lane quickly. When it came to ordering drinks, very slow service and the wrong drinks came at one point, we were better off going to the bar to drink. The actually bowling was fun except the balls kept on jamming and the lane was under some malfunctions at time. Overall the staff were welcoming and good customer service but the bowling facilities were just slow that day.
