Would recommend the company for a great stove

I ordered the Saltfire ST-4X on the 8th January 2024 asking for a delivery date of 16th. It was easy to do online and I heard back, by return email, that my order had gone through perfectly. The stove arrived, well packed and with no damage, and the lovely chap agreed to wheel it into my garage, no problem. I gave him a fiver because I read that they don't have to do that. He waited while I checked it and off he went. Thank you very much Stove Fitter's Warehouse for an excellent service!

Found the vitreous stovepipe to be robust with good quality paint finish. Impressed that the paint didn't bubble when disc cut to length, unlike some inferior product lines.

From the start of the discussion around the Ivar 5 or 8 to placing the order for the Ivar 5 (wood store version) Julian and his team made everything simple. Went to various vendors but recognize the effort by Julian and Team and was happy to spend my money with Stove Fitters. Highly recommended. Today (19/01/24) our wood burner was installed, and we are over the moon.

Very good price and easy delivery on the pre-arranged date

The website was written and laid out well, with plenty of unambiguous advice. The stove I wanted was the best price I could find online. I ordered the recommended flue fitting pack, my only criticism is that there were no arrows on the Duraflue so we had to look at the overlaps to work out which way up it went. (Order 19846)

Despite ordering a stove that was unsuitable, which was totally my mistake and although they couldn’t offer a suitable alternative there was absolutely no issue with returning the stove and receiving a prompt refund.

I have now received my stove which is exactly as described and looks great. However, the delivery was postponed for one day. This was disappointing considering that the delivery date was chosen to give them a few days to sort out their new stock. I had to take the initiative to find out what was happening - All it would have taken was a simple text from the supplier. I might have deducted one star for overall poor communication. Nevertheless they regained the star because the driver of the delivery van was really helpful. The way the stove was packaged with various protective layers was excellent and deserves 5 Stars Plus. They also deserve 5 Stars for a really good printed booklet. However, the illustrations could be improved because the figures are only just decipherable - the illustrations are too black and could be improved with some shades of grey.
They supplier has offered a 2 year warrantee on the glass door if I write a positive review - I want to emphasise that my comments have not been influenced by this offer; but it did encourage me to write the review. The website is very good (I only looked at the one product that I bought because 12KW stoves are difficult to find). The details of the product are comprehensive. Further, the details of what you need to buy in order to install the stove are excellent, even if you are not going to install it yourself. It helps you evaluate quotations you may receive for the installation. The lifetime guarantee is a big plus and deserves 5 stars.
Their flue price seems high if you do a search on the web.

Impressed. Got my stove. Slightly delayed vs when was expected is my only gripe. Picked a delivery day over 4 weeks in advance but they didn’t arrive at the warehouse. This was then delayed a couple of times. One bolt was missing but they sent one out quick sharp.

A very informative website full of useful information on installing and buying log burners and install parts.Communication with the company was first class and everything arrived on the due date. I bought the Ivar 5 high and am extremely pleased with the quality and control this product offers.
