Contacted this company at short notice to try and arrange a move from the hell hole that Villa Plus expected us to holiday in. Fantastic customer service and efficiency which resulted in us enjoying the remainder of the holiday in a beautiful villa.

Fantastic customer service. Needed a replacement villa whilst on holiday due to one from another company being below standard and was arranged within an hour due to Katrin at Spain Holiday being super efficient, friendly and helpful! Villa is absolutely beautiful too. Thank you!

It is rare in these days to experience customer service and professional guidance, especially via email and chat boxes. Nonetheless, I had the pleasure of dealing with a highly competent supporter (Katrin) who went far and beyond what’s normally expected to match my exact criteria for the perfect villa.
Was my first experience with Spain-holiday.com, but definitely not my last.

I'am an owner from a Holiday rental and I'am advertising my property with Spain Holiday since more then six years. I'am really happy with their service and website. They are upgrading every year and are always very helpful, giving us as a homeowner and our clients an excellent service. Very profesional.. !!! Thank you to the whole team.

This is an update. When I posted a poor review of a villa on Spain-holiday’s website back in February it was removed (along with another critical review) with the excuse that an IT glitch was preventing the owner responding but when the glitch was fixed the reviews would be reinstated (see their response below). I see the owner is now responding to other reviews but as expected the poor reviews have not been reinstated

So if you believe all honest opinions are required to get a balanced picture before you spend thousands of pounds then be aware this company censors out poor reviews.

This is regarding Spain-holiday.com's response to my previous review which is simply inaccurate and basically accuses me of lying. Customers would see this of course if they had not removed my review.

You claim in my review I said "the owner doesn't pay the bills".
What I actually did was to describe an incident (of which I have three witnesses) in the villa when an official looking man knocked at the door stating he was from the water company and asking for the owner which he said they had been trying to contact for some time. HE CATEGORICALLY STATED THAT SHE OWED THEM MONEY AND IF IT WAS NOT PAID SOON THEY WOULD STOP THE WATER. He asked us to pass on the message if we could and for obvious reasons I emailed her immediately.
She responded to my message (which I still have) saying she had been in touch with the water company and they "had not sent anyone" and "not to open the door to anyone" in future. I was very dubious about this since the water company guy we met seem very authentic so I decided to include it in my review concluding by saying "if you are reading this and your water was cut off, you know why". This new story, which you seem to have automatically accepted, about a water leak at least acknowledges the water company visit was real. However in that case why you seem to think I lied about what the guy said to us makes no sense. Unless of course it is to help defend the owner, who pays you, and to hell with the interests of customers, who are actually why you exist!

We have just removed our holiday apartment from Spain Holiday after eight years due to the sale of the property. I would thoroughly recommend this site. We have had an excellent quality of visitors without exception. Any queries we have had have always been promptly dealt with. Unlike another site we used, we always felt there was a person that we were dealing with, not a money making machine. We found the charges very reasonable.

I would highly recommend this site if you are own a Spanish holiday let. Their charges are fixed - it's a one of payment for your annual subscription and you pay nothing else when you take bookings. The site itself is well managed, they have loads of great articles and resources for property owners and are quick and responsive if you have any issues. I get a lot of bookings through this site and have been with them since I started my holiday let. Can't fault them.

Recently I booked a holiday with this company but came up with a small problem. However after a phone call and a few e mails everything was sorted.
Katrin was a pleasure to work with. She was pleasant, helpful,spoke perfect English , good communication skills and made my booking stress free. Thank you

We were very well looked after by Terry and our apartment had everything we needed in it. Very clean. Will be using this website again.

We appreciate knowing that there is a human being at the other end of an email or phone call and that our queries will be answered promptly and efficiently.

Kind and persistent customer support and following up, on a complicated claim to a third party.
The support was given months after the apartment was rented, and resulted for my part in that I received the refund as I was promised, by third part

This is an un-monitored advertising site,
that does not regulate or control advertising standards providing the advertiser pays then they will allow anything on their portal.
After a fabulous holiday with what apparently was a great landlord of our rented villa, the landlord has illegally withheld the £100 security deposit after a photo of a supermarket bag of a couple of empty plastic bottles, saying that there was "excessive cleaning needed" this in conjunction with a meet and greet service which was priced at one rate then charged at another led to a dispute over the deposit.
Spain Holiday did nothing at all to rectify or even look into this properly and then replied that it was nothing to do with them as they only advertise nothing more.

Reputation matters in the hospitality business and any unsuspecting person on this occasion such as ourselves, should be aware that even though the deposit is not listed on the website, any agreed deposit should effectively be added to the cost of the rental, as you may end up like us loosing the amount after leaving the country, with the only recourse of a small claim if the charge was not justified or even simply contended.

The owner of our villa seemed to think that as they had paid to advertise their property, and in addition had to pay standard cleaning costs that would arise from rental in any event, that those costs could be carefully passed on to any unsuspecting visitor renting their villa.

We would not recommend anyone to book through this website after our upsetting experience...

We were offered £30 as a refund not at stated £70 which we would have agreed to. Spain-Holiday were actually complicit in supporting their advertiser which lead to our review.

My husband and I rented a 3 bedroom villa in Benissa, Spain for one month from Spain Holidays. Do not rent this house ref. # 39965 from Book it.
We will never rent from them again. Any house anywhere. We travel a lot and have never encountered anything like this before.
This is not just a list of complaints.
There was a very serious issue with this property.
When they finally got a tech. to come and fix the internet that had not worked for a week we were told that the security system had several cameras and microphones inside the house which could see and hear everything. The manager said that the owners always want to make sure that the renters do not have more people then they disclosed. When we spoke with Book it they did not take this issue seriously.
The other issues were that the window screens had holes and were ripped so the mosquitos got in. The main rooms air conditioner did not work. The promised Netflix was turned off after a week...we could go on and on...but..
We did write the owners but they never responded. There is no way to leave a review on the actual website picturing the house. Wish we could..

I have been renting for 15 years. Spain-Holiday is head and shoulders above the rest for attentive and excellent service and bringing me a flow of enquiries and clients every year without fail! Thanks for always being there when I need you!

We are retiring from holiday letting this year, in Alhaurin de la Torre, Costa del Sol, Spain, having run our holiday business for over 18 years.
I have always been delighted with the service we have received from spain-holiday. I wish them every success for the future. I always believed a good strong company like theirs would be able to stay afloat, because there are many owners like me, who do not want to have to deal with giant companies that gobble everyone else up. We want choices. We need a fast feedback and individual attention to our problems and they have surpassed themselves in that area. This company also work closely with the Spanish authorities and provide us with up to date information on new licencing laws. They even hold public seminars to keep us informed of the latest changes, eg how to make contact with the Guardia civil to register guests.
When I started out in this business, I had to put adverts in the LADY and EXCHANGE & MART in the UK. We didn't even have internet in the campo then. Advertising has become so much easier now. I even joined HOMEAWAY when they were free many years ago, but Spain-holiday has it right. So right in fact, that for the last 5 years I have only had to advertise with spain-holiday and my personal website. We have had many repeat guests from them and I am ending the year with one family who have been visiting us since 2012, which is a great way to bow out. As an owner who has been involved in Holiday rentals in Spain for 25 years I can honestly say Spain-holiday.com are a very professional and customer focussed company.
Unlike the 2 huge rental market leaders , who have become not only greedy but are taking control from owners Spain-holidays.com are owner friendly! Always easy to communicate with and are efficient and competent.
I have transferred my Spanish apartments from HomeAway to them and I am delighted to have found them. We have received excellent results in rentals both in Marbella and Mojacar and super guests. We look forward to many years of co-operation to come. Especially as they make the effort to ensure owners are Tourism Registered and genuine which protects guests .

Rented la Cascada oasis villa between Torrox and Frigiliana through Spain-holiday. The experience was less than good. The villa was filthy, we had to make our own beds after searching high and low for bedding, pillows and towels. Things were broken (table, toaster) and initially there weren’t enough sunloungers for what was supposed to be a 6 person villa. To be fair to Spain-holiday they did try to sort things out with the owner who was being obstructive and on occasion threatening but 5 days of the holiday were spent trying to get things sorted - very stressful. The owner tried to withhold some of the deposit ‘for extra cleaning’ - an absolute joke. Spain-holiday do have to take the blame for misrepresenting the villa initially, failing to ensure that the villa was ready and fit for occupation and what is worse are refusing to allow us to review the property. Very poor!

I booked an apartment with Spain-holiday.com through Vladimir and Anna Emmerig. The disorganisation was pretty clear from the start, on the day we were due to travel after many unanswered emails and request for check in information we were told that the apartment had been double booked. This information was I believe something they sat on for some time ,as in my experience of booking holidays check in information is given on final payment. Vladimir and Anna are still yet to write an apology for being the cause of the two elderly people decided upon this news not to travel. The representative of Spain. Com did contact the renters but once it was clear how wrong our holiday booking had gone, they simply took us off their emailing list so we could not review. Please do not use this site and certainly if you come across the letting agency Vladimir and Anna Emmerig avoid them at all cost. We managed to get a apartment at short notice, but we unfortunately paid a premium for basic accommodation and were left considerably out of pocket. So please if you want a holiday to be the joyous experience it should be then go through another site. Tracey Mulhaney

I would highly recommend this company for booking holidays and will definitely use them again myself.
