Booked a property through Spain Holidays prior to the current pandemic. Property ID 34323 in Javea, Spain. Unfortunately due to the current global situation, the owner Gabi de La Trobe could not provide the villa and to date, after many months of trying to get our money back has only just refunded us 70% of the money we paid and our cleaning charges- of a property we never visited! No recompense whatsoever for the 30% still outstanding. This company does not care about the customers who rent their properties. They are business based and censor out poor reviews. Apparently they can only advise a property owner of their recommendations, which begs the question why book through them when they offer no protection whatsoever and do not place any penalties upon rental owners. We left a review to warn others as we would not wish anyone to go through what we have, but unfortunately it was removed by Spain Holiday. They send you a review link, upon requesting one, and then delete negative reviews, citing various reasons that they come up with as they choose. Beware of properties with little feedback or outdated reviews-you know why! Spain Holiday likes to wash its hands of any problem and we would strongly advise you to not deal with this company-EVER! It is truly unbelievable how Spain-Holiday.com have so many 5 stars when this intermediary company simply doesn't care!

UPDATE: Not surprisingly Spain Holiday contacted us, having previously washed their hands of our situation whereby they offered us no help at all apart from sorry, after they had seen we wrote this review. They expected us to forget our money and disappear as did the owner. They now state that they forced the owner to refund us 70% and requested we remove this review. Reviews are left for a reason and as Spain Holiday refuses to let us leave a review on their website and it seems lots of other people have experienced this, this will help to warn others. Despicable treatment from the villa owner and the company. No compassion at all. Avoid at all costs.

I've been meaning to post a review for some time. As property managers we have used many websites over the years with very mixed levels of service. Spain-Holiday.com has always offered a high quality service, quick response and sound advice. Thankfully we have only had a couple of guest issues over our 16 years but when we have, they have acted professionally and fairly in helping to resolve them. The whole team has always been helpful, but Helena in particular. Thanks for your years of advice and service.

As a Dutch TennisCoach I booked a Finca at Mallorca (Gran Cau Sencelles) with 18 young tennisplayers to play an international tennistournament At The Rafael Nadal Academy. Because of the Corona crisis , the tournament got cancelled , and of course I did not want to travel to Mallorca with 18 young kids in this insecure period.I had to contact Spain Holidays to cancel my booking. I was helped in a fantastic way by Claudia Rueda and got all my money refunded, FANTASTIC! For sure , we will come back to the same accomodation as soon as possible! We rented the Magnificent beach front villa in Cala D,or (calor egos) for a week from 24th August 2019,This holiday like many all my family including my Grandchildren were looking forward to it,but what a massive disappointment we had for the price we paid the villa was no where near the standard,cracked tiles around the pool area ideal for my grandchildren ,plus broken tiles on the stairs ,the whole place needed some work ,the BBQ was a joke , their was a constant drip from the air con which made the grass area a mud bath,we just felt ripped off with the price we paid,we took many photos of what was dangerous and needed attention,on contacting the Manager in charge of the villa June Snowdon and informing we were not happy,and to inform the owner ,that as a good gesture some compensation would reflect to the standard of the villa,the reply was a NO, also I would like to say this villa is not a wheelchair friendly villa,the only positive things is the location and June was helpful at the beginning!we have noticed home away are advertising this villa, I just hope it has been made safer and made as a villa should look,We will go back to the area again as it is very nice but will never stay at this villa again.on returning of the holiday we did contact Spain Holidays by e,mail through their site but no reply was ever received,

I didn’t know what to expect when I booked. We did the 7 day Spanish Delights beginning in Madrid. I loved every minute. I can’t believe how much we saw and learned. Lara, our guide was very knowledgeable and took great care of us. Philip, our driver was amazing navigating in and around narrow streets giving us a very comfortable ride.

We rented a villa I.D. 54632 Vistafuerte for 2 weeks this is a very dark villa so much foliage in the garden to much in are opinion ,never used the barbecue as its in the far corner not usable at all the hammock was unusable,as i said far to much foliage.the pool has a ladder which is very slippery we all slipped on it i came of the worse and am still attending hospital with my injury so never used the pool after that.But i have to say the linen and towels were immaculate and a lovely welcome pack.but think it all needs updating and garden all cleared may have less flies then .and also no english t.v. netflix yes if one has netflix thats it . ,

I have been a property manager for over 13 years and have over this time used many advertising portals.
I started using Spain-holiday about 12 years ago and rate this site the most highly, and I have continued to use it ,whilst I have ceased using many of the others.
I have always appreciated the personal touch, and staff are always on hand immediately when I have encountered the odd problem in uploading a photo for example.
In addition to the personal touch, there are useful newsletters to keep rental managers of important changes in the Law and rental trends.
I would highly recommend this site to anyone looking for a reliable and reasonably-priced rental portal

A great site for holiday let owners.

It is rare in these days to experience customer service and professional guidance, especially via email and chat boxes. Nonetheless, I had the pleasure of dealing with a highly competent supporter (Carmen) at Spain Holiday being super efficient, friendly and helpful!

I would highly recommend this site if you are own a Spanish holiday let. Their charges are fixed - it's a one of payment for your annual subscription and you pay nothing else when you take bookings. The site itself is well managed, they have loads of great articles and resources for property owners and are quick and responsive if you have any issues.

I'am an owner from a Holiday rental and I'am advertising my property with Spain Holiday since more then three years. I am really happy with their service and website. They are upgrading every year and are always very helpful, giving us as a homeowner and our clients an excellent service.

We stayed in one of your villas in Puebla Lucía for a week at the beginning of August,we had a fabulous week with family, could not have wished for a more perfect place to holiday. The villa was clean and spacious, with everything you could possibly want, surrounded with well kept gardens. Johanna could not have been more helpful, she guided me throughout my booking, and was there to meet us at the property. Would most definitely recommend using Spain.com an d holidaying at Puebla Lucía.

The villa we booked was amazing the owner was excellent at communicating and even replied whilst on holiday himself. Would book through this site again and recommend

I had very little communication from the home owner I was renting from and so I contacted the support team

Initially they were brilliant, really helpful in getting the homeowner to respond and when I expressed that I'd lost faith in the homeowner and wondered if I should cancel, I was reassured that she was a genuine renter, the property did exist and that she had been advertising with them for 7 years. But at the time of my booking she had been using them but at the time of my enquiry she wasnt using their portal anymore.

So I continued. Only now with a month to go, i had still had no communication and when I chased her, she still didnt reply. Again I contacted support, this time they suggested that it was my tone through text messages that had caused her to cancel!
I reassured them that I had been nothing but patient and polite with her but believed that this was always going to happen.
Later that day the renter confirmed that she had had an accident and had cancelled other bookings. Yet no notification to me or communication.
Helena was going on holiday so advised me to contact her colleagues to see if they could help. All I got was an email telling me what I already knew - that Helena was on holiday and mo offer of help
Just that Helena would deal with it upon her return. Helpful - seeing as the longer we left it, the more likely it was we would be stranded with nowhere to stay!

The website says book with confidence but that's not quite the case. I wouldn't use this portal again

We had advertised our apartment for many years on Spain-Holiday.com and always have been very satisfied with their services!!
