We have been using Smartsheet since 2008. We have created many tracking and collaboration tools across a variety of teams at Orbis Education. It has been extremely helpful for us to keep everyone on the same page, to work on a live document, and get alerts and notifications of relevant changes, statuses, or pending dates.

If you're looking for a layman's database creation/tracking tool, this is the right solution for you. It is familiar, intuitive, and powerful without becoming over complicated. Great for every team member from administrative to executive.

We team up with clients every day using smartsheet. It is a project planner, data collector, attachment organizer, email reminder tool that keeps everyone on the same page - and everyone accountable.

I cannot imagine life without SmartSheet! I have a personal account for management of budget, tax tracker, and the management of volunteers for gymnastic meets. I also have an account through my job, where my team uses it to manage all our project needs (clients, vendors, resource management, and budget). Using Smartsheet cuts back on the number of emails received and the time searching to find answers in a ton of emails!

It is so user friendly and flexible! It was great before, but all the improvements that have been made and that are in the works adds the icing to the cake. I also appreciate that SmartSheet listens to customers and works to add capabilities such as parent/child relationship in the reports.

I've used many project management applications over the years - MS Project, Workfront, Basecamp, Mavenlink, Wrike, etc. While there are requirements out there for a project management tool that helps build and launch the Space Shuttle, Smartsheet is a much better option for the masses. It is easy to use, great collaboration features, cost effective, Cloud based - plus a host of other options. Oh wait, on the Smartsheet website it states that NASA uses Smartsheet!! I I guess Smartsheet can be used to build and launch a Space Shuttle. But...in a much more cost effective and user friendly way. Perhaps the next government agency to embrace Smartsheet should be the military and forever remove the oxymoron moniker that is "Military Intelligence!"

Smartsheets is a groundbreaking blend of all the best features of Excel, Access and MS Project rolled into a user friendly interface accessible from anywhere. We are a Construction Management company, with staff in many remote locations, and the need to collaborate on plans with many different groups with interest in the Projects. The ability to share the same sheet, in real time with everyone in enormously helpful. We have used Google Docs to this purpose, but Smartsheets is easier, by far. Our company uses all Apple hardware and Operating Systems, and our Scheduling had to be done on a remotely hosted Windows Server to operate MS Project. Now, with critical path added to Smartsheets, our Project Managers are untethered, and can operate much more efficiently in the field using Smartsheets online - on their computers, iPads and iPhones. We also use Smartsheets for our Sales Pipelines, contract tracking, and numerous administrative tracking activities. It is one of the most powerful, intuitive, and effective collaborative tools I have had the pleasure of working with in my 30 years in the business systems oversight. The only improvement I would like to see is some kind of change tracking to identify who made changes, and the ability to roll back to a previous state if needed. Smartsheet is at the core of my compliance program. I use it for running my budget, my projects, to do lists, incident reporting, and many other aspects of my departmental duties. For instance, Smartsheet allows me to track from initial environmental incident to final resolution collaboratively with multiple parties in different organizations. I use webforms to create an initial field report and then apply various conditional rules to channel the information to the correct parties thru the powerful tools provided. I am a huge fan

As a project manager , I have empowered peers to manage their own dynamic projects, tasks and lists; and with web based forms they can solicit and manage outside input with flair. And still exciting is next release breaking down a project task by time.

It's been very easy for me to capture/track data, share docs, rsvps lists, etc. I can see so many uses for SmartSheet beyond my own wheelhouse. It's simple, easy - not overcomplicated like some programs are. When you provide support on a national level - Smartsheet has allowed me to quickly send attendance lists, etc. within seconds of the request. A just in need level of automation - but not so sohpisticated where no one would want to use it. I just need you guys to add an iCal option on webforms and alerts!

Smartsheet is a simple to use project management tool that mirrors what people are already using: spreadsheets. While not as 'pretty' as other competing tools out there, I have found that implementing Smartsheet works because people actually use it with minimal training. Unlike a lot of other tools that require a time consuming 'implementation' phase to get up and running, Smartsheet is so intuitive that people just use it. At the end of the day, a tool someone actually uses has value. Lots of other tools are better in a design/functionality/flexibility sense, but in the one metric that counts: end-user adoption, Smartsheet has them all beat.

I have to say we have nothing but positive comments regarding the smart sheets. It has brought organization to our team.

As an enterprise level firm we have found smartsheet enables smooth collaboration across geographic offices and teams. We've used it as a project managment tool, a quick form for events registration, a survey tool and much more. I hope they keep advancing the tool and continue adding in more robust features such as image embeds and more customizable tools for special UX needs.

People tease me that whatever the problem, my answer will include "SmartSheet" as one of the key elements. Whether running a multimillion dollar project, or organizing my kids' birthday party- SmartSheet is my # 1 go-to resource.

You can get things up and running and collaborate with your entire team in no time. Since the limit on sheets is so high, I let all my sheet creators make their own systems and it saves me a ton of time. My business could not live without it. That is the truth.

We originally signed up to be a Smartsheet for project management in our Creative Department. Since then and many years later, it is integrated into all of our companies departments and also serving as status reports to our clients.

Very practical project management tool. Easy to use/learn, and has many excellent features: integrated task-level discussions and file attachments, clean interface, Gantt charts, calculations, etc. I use it day-to-day and also for teaching courses/workshops in project management.
