Absolutely love my pergola. Quality timber. Look lovely in the garden

We bought the 9x4 metal shed and it's great. Came in no time at all. Very quick. Everything was provided clear instructions and gloves. 2 people were able to put together in say 4 hours if that. Is fiddly and doesnt seem sturdy while putting it all together but when all done it is. Waterproof as we have had very heavy downpours/ thunderstorms since been built and everything has stayed dry.

The rose arch I ordered; was easy to order, came when scheduled and simple to assemble. Great service and a solid dependable product, highly recommended.

Extremely professional company from start to finish

The product is nice, but it’s not designed properly. We got the pergola up and it just fell down immediately, the screws that came with it are too small to hold the wood together and the design is flimsy, we’re going to have to get extra pieces of wood to secure it in place. Hopefully next time it doesn’t collapse immediately. Wouldn’t recommend.

Ordered a Redmile 2 from these guys.
Not a cheap cabin, but the specifications seemed better than competitors products at similar prices.
Ordering online was a simple process.
Communication from the company was good from the get go.
Delivery was scheduled approximately 3 weeks after placing the order for a further 2 weeks time at a date that worked for me.
Driver arrived on the day, very friendly, helpful guy from a 3rd party transport company.
Sounds all good so far right?
So I unpacked the timber, and began checking off.
Nothing was identified by a number or letter, simply work it out for yourself.
It appeared to be all there?
Assembly started the next day.
Every other or 3rd board was warped.
Now they do mention warping on their website, but I didn't expect to this extent.
8 hours in I was ready to rip it down and send it back as faulty.
I called in some help for a couple of days and we persevered.
The whole front face of the cabin was twisting and distorting.
We carried on having to adapt elements to make it work.
3 days in, it's finished.
Almost!
Because of the warping none of the doors align.
I have a family member who has worked as a carpenter and still we cant make the doors fit properly.
Multiple adjustments have been made but to no avail.
The pre assembled window does not open properly either.
Now left with a rather expensive gazebo rather than a double glazed log cabin.
Considering my next move to be honest.
I feel very disappointed that a big part of my garden make over project is now unfinished and I'm not sure how it will be resolved as I believe the cabin is to warped for things to ever fit properly.
My advice, go for a cheap one made out of fence panels as it will probably be less problematic .

Update to review 10 days after installation- the cabin is now starting to split and crack in various places.
I have had a couple of emails from simply log cabins after I reached out, however so far, no offer of a resolution.
Such a shame as the initial impression I had of this company was a good one.

I dealt with Lewis when purchasing an Icon 125 sauna and from start to finish the transaction was smooth and everyone did what they were meant to do 👍.

It took myself and a chippy 1 and half days to put it up and my brother who's a sparky half a day to do the electrics and lighting.

Obviously it's only been operational for 1 day but you can tell the product is well made and should hopefully stand the test of time providing I keep up the wood treatment each year.

Not a log cabin but ordered a auto retracting garden hose. It came very quickly and was all good.

Found an airless sprayer for very good value on the Simply Log Cabins website. Delivered very quickly and was well packed. Waiting for some drier weather before using, but everything in the box was exactly as described. Thank you

Ordered a garden bench, which was promptly delivered on the day that they promised. Great comms during the order process and the delivery driver was happy to carry the bench to where I wanted it placed.

Ordering was easy. Product was exactly what we ordered and the delivery and post order assistance was excellent. Would definitely recommend.

The log cabin is exactly the dimensions I was expecting and seems sturdy and good quality. It looks good.

I misread the website and was expecting it to come already made, but putting it together was relatively quick and easy, although it does assume you have some kind of power screwdriver. All in all, good product and glad I bought it.

The lads who built the sauna ( both called Craig were superb .
They helped with the delivery and done the build in one day .
Good old fashioned workmen with amazing work ethic .

The swivel chair I have ordered is excellent! It looks fabulous and comfy. It's an excellent make and was easy to assemble. Arrived very quickly. I highly recommend Simply Log Cabins!

Ordered a carport from Simply Log Cabins. Arrived on time, just as they promised. Great customer service prior to delivery. Nothing much else to say!

I purchased a cabin from Simply Log Cabins which including several extras from the company. From start to finish, the experience has been incredibly poor.

The delivery alone was shocking — the driver dragged the pallet across my driveway with a forklift, leaving visible scuff marks. When it came to building the cabin, the problems only got worse. The instructions provided were completely wrong. I was sent three different sets of instructions before it became clear that none of them completed/matched my model.

The extras I paid for didn’t even fit the cabin properly, and I had to make my own modifications just to get the build to work. Even worse, essential materials were missing altogether. Simply Log Cabins admitted this was their mistake and told me to go out, buy the timber myself, and “cut it to size” as a workaround. They also promised to send the missing material — that was over six weeks ago, and despite having an order acknowledgment, nothing has arrived.

I’ve tried repeatedly to escalate this issue and speak with a manager, but no one has called me back. Instead, I was told that it was my fault for continuing with the build, even though I followed their guidance and used the materials provided. Friends and family helping me with the build have been stunned witnessing the process first hand and just how appalling the service has been.

After all this, I raised a formal complaint three weeks ago and was offered a “goodwill gesture” of just £100 (0.02% of the order value) — with a deadline of only 48 hours to accept. This was despite the company acknowledging their mistakes. It’s honestly insulting given the time, stress, and cost involved.

If anyone doubts this account, I have full correspondence and even video evidence of the delivery damage, which I’m happy to share. My honest advice: stay well clear of Simply Log Cabins.
