My new glasses are brilliant so thank you very much for letting me change them the other ones so thank you.

I recently took ownership of my first hearing aids. From the beginning with a hearing test, to fitting and collection, I was treated with the utmost courtesy and efficiency. I am delighted with them, and followed that with a routine eye test. Once again, superb service and a fabulous new pair of specs. Thank you, Kings Heath Scrivens.

Just as I have been used to in the past Graham was attentive and strived to make adjustments to my hearing aids to give me the best possible results. My experience with the optical side of the business is just as positive. Outstanding, friendly customer service at every point of contact.

Had my eyes tested and ordered replacement lenses on the 8th November 2025, 2 weeks later I collected them, one lens was completely wrong so they were reordered, the 2nd pair came back 2 weeks later again not good, I was told to try them at home, then another eye test was conducted and a new pair ordered, a 3rd pair also not good. I have paid £690 and still waiting for the 4th pair 7th March. In the meantime I had to get new glasses that work from another optician!
25th March collected glasses from scrivens, the 4th pair work fine, scrivens used the prescription taken by an external optometrist. I wonder why the 3 opticians doing the assessment 1. 2. and 3. at scrivens got it so wrong?

The service is outstanding by Louise and all the team, the optician ( can’t remember her name) was lovely with my daughter who struggles with her appointments. Not rushed or pressured at any stage. Really informative and reasuring for someone with additional needs. Highly recommended opticians. Simply the best

I visited Scrivens in Chapel en le Frith for two pairs of glasses. Excellent customer service from Helen and Abby; they are both very friendly, welcoming and helpful. In the past, I have visited larger chains and the level of service is not comparable. I would highly recommend visiting this local optician’s; you don’t feel like ‘just a customer’ but a valued client/patient.

The kindness and attention of all the staff both from reception, optometrist and hearing staff from Broadstone towards my nearly 93 year old mother is just amazing. Patience, friendly they are just brilliant in a quite challenging situation. They all deserve recognition for their wonderful attitude. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Excellent service by the Kingstanding Hawthorn Road team in Birmingham from all the staff. Alliyah who served me today was very helpful in deciding suitable glasses style for myself.In general she was very friendly and provided great service and reprents your company very well.

My wife and I just had our annual eye test at Scrivens Wem. The staff were all very friendly and professional and explained everything they did clearly and simply. When choosing a new pair of glasses they spent a long time ensuring I had a pair that suited me and I didn't feel rushed or that I had to make a decision too quickly. I also had a free hearing test which reassured me that I did not yet need any help yet but that could be reviewed next year.
We would highly recommend this optician for anyone in the area who needs a quality, friendly and professional practice 😀

Had an excellent hearing test at Scrivens, Radcliffe today. The staff are very well-mannered and cheerful.

What a pleasure to receive both helpful and polite service on the telephone and in person from the Gosport branch. Aaron served me today 5th March, and repaired my hearing aid while I waited. I would not hesitate to recommend Scrivens.
