Scrivens owe money. They missold a pair of glasses costing nearly £600, that were not suitable and they had to amend the lens. The difference was £180 in my favour. They refused to pay me back stating it had to be a store credit. Should have been credited back to the bank card that I used to pay the original sum. So they oversell their product and won’t pay for their error. Have since bought two pairs of glasses from other opticians and received wonderful service. Will never spend any more money in a Scrivens store. Currently taking this to court. This has been ongoing since 2022

I recently visited Scrivens Eye Clinic and had a very positive experience. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and attentive from the moment I arrived. They listened carefully and handled everything in a calm and professional way, which made me feel comfortable and well looked after.

The doctors were kind, understanding, and highly professional. They took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I understood my treatment and options. Overall, the service was excellent, and I felt confident in the care I received.

I would highly recommend Scrivens Eye Clinic to anyone looking for quality eye care and a supportive, patient-focused environment.

On arrival shop was clean and Sonia Megan and Fay was very welcoming.

All 3 colleagues explained fully what was happening and nothing was to much trouble for them

All gave excellent customer service through out well done. If I was a mystery shopper would have passed with flying colours keep up.the good wood because its hard to get excellent service these days in retail.

Had a great experience this morning at Westbourne Scrivens. Very professionally handled, I had a hearing test and an eye test then ordered some new glasses.
The ladies should all be commended for their attention to detail and smiling faces.

Both my elderly parents regularly use Scrivens at Chapel-en-le-Frith for both optician and hearing services.
The staff are always courteous, considerate and patient. The staff are experienced, knowledgable and take time to ensure customers are given sufficient information to make informed choices of products and services.
My overall experience in the Chapel branch, when accompanying my parents, have shown them to be an excellent branch i.e. staff are great, facilities and equipment excellent and range of products extremely good.

Excellent Friendly, Professional service from the High Wycombe branch as always.

The team at the shop in Bury St Edmunds are absolutely brilliant. Everyone is SO friendly and eager to make my experience when visiting the best it can be. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I was given a warm welcome right from the first time I walked in to find out about Scrivens.

I have an ear problem and was enquiring about making an appointment and I was able to make one within a few days. I felt totally cared for. I went back for the appointment and was helped and reassured.

After a conversation about glasses today
I went for an eye test. Again it was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. All the staff were kind, helpful and attentive to my every need. I have come away feeling thoroughly looked after and much time was spent making sure I found the right glasses to suit me. I now look forward to having the new ones which I know will change my every day life in a big way.

I am a member in Tilehurst and had a good experience throughout by staff explaining the process for my eye test and likely timescale . It was very proffesionally handled and I will continue to use Scrivens going forward

The optician at my weoley castle branch amrit koasha was extremely friendly and helped to explain the differences in lenses I needed. Nicole and Beth are always so friendly and helpful whenever me or my family visit this branch excellent service
