Very happy with our purchase a secondhand A180 Sport
I was looking for a secondhand runabout car. I spotted an A180 Sport on the Sandown website. My email enquiry was responded to by David Van Der Bijl in Guildford.
David organised for the car to be moved from Basingstoke to Guildford so that my wife and I could enjoy a test drive.
We liked the car and decided to purchase it. David organised for the car to be serviced and for some superficial scratches to be erased. He ran through the extras we could add on to the package and we are very satisfied with the items we selected.
On hand over day, David gave us a thorough briefing on the car's on
board electronics and other systems.
On completing the paperwork, we were away only 10 days after spotting it on the website. We are thoroughly enjoying the car and are very pleased with our purchase and very grateful to David for the service that he gave us.

Very poor customer treatment
Having been a customer for many years I see they’ve switched to Kia without telling their loyal Mercedes customers. Very poor. I thought it was odd I got a marketing invite from Basingstoke- driving past I saw the different stock and branding. Very poor. Wouldn’t ever deal with Sandown again.

the parking space needs to be easier to drive in it especially the one infant of the sale department
I parked next day there and the same car that I bought the day before hit the ballord and damage the car from the side which required lot of money and may take 3 weeks or more
The staff are lovely and professional and try to help particularly Joy Miller who was very helpful and we appreciate her support
my suggestion to the director of the unit is to review the parking space and the signs to sale and sign to service clear to avoid confusion and also to make parking spaces for customers

Had a very positive experience trading in my B class for a much newer one. I had considered other brands but Mercedes wins hands down every time on build quality and features. Harvey was very informative, patient, professional and thorough as we discussed my various options with model type and finance. He was not pushy and was very knowledgeable. Excellent service and support
Excellent service and support from Dorchester staff. From locating a vehicle with exactly the required specification through to explaining finance details, car delivery arrangements and 'initial tutorial' when the car was delivered. They dealt meticulously and sympathetically with my frustration over the tedious Mercedes Benz financial and purchase documentation and unreliable IT links involved in trying to do much of it electronically - full marks to them.
