I’ve shopped regularly at Sahara for over 10 years and, most recently, on 1st March. Put simply, they design, curate and deliver the most beautiful clothing I’ve ever owned, alongside jewellery and accessories. Gorgeous, natural fabrics like jerseys and linens cut into timeless, unusual pieces that are both easy to wear and care for. It’s great that these lovely clothes and accessories don’t date and last reliably season after season for many years.

Their designers understand colour brilliantly. Skilful, blended colour palettes that are inclusive, suiting a broad range of different skin tones. These clothes are appropriate for stylish women of any age and various shapes and sizes, particularly if you’re reasonably tall.

My experience is of friendly, first class customer service that goes above and beyond. The website is excellent with photos and videos that accurately show colours and how the material moves on the body during wear. Actual measurements for each garment in all sizes are helpfully indicated, along with detailed care instructions. I’ve found delivery of online orders - via their warehouse partner and courier - to be speedy and efficient with really good communication, plus opening the box feels like opening a present! A company that demonstrates a social conscience and sound, sustainable ethics; the opposite of fast fashion, yet retaining the fun in shopping for clothes - and even in just getting dressed.

I love Sahara clothes for colour and soft fabrics and comfort but am really reviewing the absolutely excellent customer service I have just received. Trying to order a pair of trousers online in time for a holiday that's coming up very soon, I got myself into a right old muddle about where I was going to be and when they were likely to be delivered. As always, this was at a weekend, but I emailed customer service without much hope that the delivery address could be changed. On Monday morning I received a charming email from Carly in customer services who said she owuld go across to the warehouse and see what she could do. She got back to me shortly afterwards to say that it was all sorted and the trousers would be delivered express the next day - and at no extra charge. You could not ask for a more courteous and effective customer service - I am left feeling even more warmly towards Sahara than before. Just hoping the trousers fit!

I have a wardrobe full of Sahara clothes that I have purchased over the years… they are expensive but they are different from the usual high street retailers. I have to agree with other reviews on here in regards to the postage on buying and the postage it costs to return. I ordered a necklace and it was the same cost as a large item to be delivered.
I have also had to return a few items and on the last few occasions I have had to email customer services to ask when I would be refunded as it had taken ages and not in the time frame stated. This I think is very poor.
I must also add that if the prices increase any further I am afraid I cannot be a customer going forward.

Parcel didn't arrive you acknowledged it please refund monies due

Love Sahara Clothing whether the in-store experience (Marylebone, Ludlow and York being fabulous examples) or buying online (Edinburgh store was fab). It’s not in any way their fault when the courier they use when buying online couldn’t care less about the parcels they deliver (DPD that’s you). Clothing is good quality, looks good, fits well and is value for money in my opinion.

Amazing customer service - went above and beyond in attempting to trace a lost parcel - reassurance that a replacement product could be found - courteous at all times - and made me feel valued as a customer.

Purchased a scarf ( Cityscape) paid £55( one of those" why not" moments!) Wore it for the 1st time this week, it has frayed so badly,even got a tiny hole,shocking quality.

I have bought from Sahara both online and from Niche in Shipston on Stour. My favourite brand for quality, design and colour and range of sizes.
Buying from them online is a pleasure. Parcel usually arrives the next day always beautifully packed. Sadly I had to return my last dress as it didn’t suit me and the return was easy with a fast refund.

A really lovely, well made dress in high quality fabric.
Love the colour, Steel Grey, and it's a classic Shirt dress with a twist. Subtle pleats at the front and a very flattering and easy to wear A line style. I am a generous size 22 so was a bit worried that it would not be big enough round the Bust but it is perfect and just what I have been looking for. 5 Stars.

Trying to check on future availability of an out of stock item. Quick response and felt my query was being dealt with efficiently …. Really delighted when they tracked a remaining dress to their Norwich branch who sent it on to me . Very impressed with customer care

My husband and I went to the Sahara shop in Crawford Street, London, to look for a dress I could wear, to give several talks. We found the Winter Spring Crepe Shirt Dress, and I don't think I have ever worn anything so beautiful. Most dresses don't suit me. This is comfortable, a flattering 'prune' colour, with two shades of buttons and marvellous little embroidered designs. When I brought it home, I turned it inside out and, to my amazement, the embroidered designs were exactly the same on the reverse side. A kind person at Sahara found out for me that the dress is made in India, and that the embroidery is machine-made, but I think must be based on traditional hand-sewn patterns. I am wearing the dress now as I write, and am sure I shall feel relaxed and confident when I give my talks.

Fantastic! Ordered my skirt online. Wasn't sure about my size. Messaged Sahara and they came back straightaway with great advice. Unbelievable quick delivery! Thank you for this! I absolutely love my new skirt at a great price too. Very happy with Sahara. Will definitely use again. 5 star or more !

This is not a customer centric company, at all. Garments are fairly expensive, with shirts being IRO £130+ and trousers £120+, which means it's easy to notch up a fairly large payment. The goods always seem to arrive promptly, but as the sizing of the garments is all over the place it means there is trial and error involved in making a purchase, and needing to return items is almost guaranteed. Returns are paid for by the customer. There is no option to return an item and request the shipment of an alternative size, which means a refund must be processed and issued by the company. The refund policy states "We aim to issue refunds within 14 days of receipt of returned items. However, please note that it can take up to 21 days for sums to be credited to your account". If an alternative size is required this must be paid for in advance of receiving a refund, or you need to wait for the refund to be processed at a snail's pace. Today, it is unacceptable, and unnecessary, to take so long to process refunds. A few weeks ago I chased a refund for £466 which did get dealt with during my call. Today I have chased another refund for £393 and was told it is the company's prerogative as to how they deal with refunds. I explained that from my perspective, as their customer, this was a highly unsatisfactory experience. The gentleman I was speaking with simply did not care and was quite abrupt. He has convinced me, very successfully, that I will not be making any further purchases. Well done Sahara! In the age of companies striving to provide the best customer experiences possible, as a brand differentiator, you have failed dismally.

I feel this company is not interested in improving, their main interest seems to be making money.
This company comes across, as Hoity toity, NOT GOOD! too expensive, and having to pay for returns is unacceptable, I had an unpleasant experience with Sahara two years ago, and have never bought from them since.

The clothes are nice enough but they are very expensive and the sizing is inconsistent. Measurements are given but they often don't seem to be accurate. Annoyingly, the buyer is required to pay for delivery if the item is under £200, making the clothing even more costly. And there are no free returns. As there are no Sahara stores in the North West (the closest is in Yorkshire) I'm not in a position to try anything on. Getting one dress and returning it cost me about £15 all told in postage by the time I'd insured it in case of loss. I am also irritated by the reviews on the website. They are mainly, if not exclusively, five star. I suspect strongly that customers are only invited to give a review if they haven't returned their items as I have never been asked to leave a review and it seems to be by invitation only. This makes their reviews very unreliable.

I have returned many pieces of junkmail to this company and emailed their customer service team to unsubscribe (from a previous resident of my house) and they ignore these requests.

Haven't bought a Sahara for ages, and couldn't resist the Diamond Denim jacket, it arrived within 24 hrs. It's beautiful, soft material which drapes flatteringly. I love the mandarin collar and button through style style, and the pleat at the back which makes the jacket comfortable. Can't wait to wear it. Thank you.

I have bought Sahara cloths for many years , what amazes me is they just keep getting better and better . Beautiful cloths , great fabrics , good cut . This season Summer 22 has been excellent
