Richmond American Homes was a pleasure to work with.

The staff made working through the mound of paperwork easy and straight forward. There were a few issues with the house that were addressed fairly quick (interior patch work needed, a few replaced tiles, some minor landscaping), and the construction was well done. Richmond did a great job on delivering on the house I initially saw through pictures. They also did a great job on showing you where everything was and how it operated.

What really made our experience great with this company was the Real Estate professional Liseth Flores. We would definitely purchase another home with Lizeth Flores.

Richmond American Home introduced the spec home option to cutdown build cost and these homes are built with low quality finishing touches and are not to the standard. You have zero options to select. Pay attention to what you are signing up for. Spend time to validate each and every spec item. Their customer service is not what you would expect from a quality home builder. They do not care about their customers. After sales service is horrible.

Great homes, very nice floorplan beautifully made, not the best at fixing issues after you move in. You have to be patient things will get done, but not quickly

The neighborhood is beautiful and peaceful, and our new home is spacious.

The overall experience, from start to finish, was incredible. The entire Richmond team made the transition as easy as possible.

I love my new home. When I say Gracie was so amazing we are so appreciative of her threw out the whole process.

Thankfully we were able to get the house we wanted on the lot we wanted and didn't have to wait too long. The staff was always responsive and helpful. Houses are beautifully designed with extra curb appeal and landscaping. Thank you!

Fast home build

Overall bad experience with Richmond Homes. Sales agent never kept us informed or up to date with home status. Home value came in under purchase agreement and sales agent told us to back out of our deal so she can sell it to someone else! I wouldn’t recommend Richmond homes to anyone. Project manager makes a ton of fake promises. They don’t fix anything wrong with the home. It’s been 70+ days owning my home, and we have still yet to have a 30+ or 60+ day home inspection. A lot of fake promises made. Don’t close on your home until everything is fixed prior. Because once you close, they push you to the side and don’t come out to fix anything.

Many items have not been fixed. Too many contractors are working on the homes. Not impressed with the stucco, walls (one bulging in the living room), the bedroom door wouldn't stay open (the solution was to bend the pins and now it squeaks), several plants have died, many spots have not been painted, glue on the floors, issues GFI outlets (cannot reset need to flip the breaker), not provided the opportunity to purchase additional solar (told we need to wait a year and we are only producing about 60% of what is needed), the kitchen island has rings that were supposed to be addressed before move in (not done) and the shower stall is cracked and chipping. While this home was affordable compared to others in the area, I would have purchased a previously owned home. The disappointment wouldn't have been as great. You think that by buying a new home things would be in better condition. The microwave had already been used and someone left it dirty along with the stovetop. This was part of walk-through that was supposed to be taken care of. After you move in, you don't want subcontractors coming into your home; especially with dirty shoes.

Not a bad house, small lot. TERRIBLE internal mortgage company. They ruined the experience. I will not buy a Richmond home again because of them. Additionally trying to get anything fixed is a nightmare

Honesty is key. Read all the fine print and get everything in writing. Can't take people's word on things.

Home is beautiful but make sure you get walk through done in a timely manner
