Amazing wash and blow dry by Lena on Friday morning in Peter Marks. Best head massage I've ever experienced !

Geraldine at Peter Marks Main Street Swords is an icon of the salon with her own unique style of hairdressing. Highly recommend. The salon is always so welcoming from the moment you come through the door you are greeted with a smile from the manager. Lovely team, lovely staff and spotless salon.

Booked wash and blow dry in Carlow only to be told they wouldn’t wash it as I had extensions! Although I go to other Peter Marks and not a problem ! What an utter embarrassment sitting at basin to be told to leave!!! I actually had it washed and blow dried in Dundrum 5 days ago! Not impressed and wouldn’t recommend this salon. Lovely hairdresser across the road very happy to take my business

I Booked appointment over the phone. I have 40km to get there. Took day off from work. When arrived it looked like they had no info about it. They couldn't do the colour as no test done.they couldn't find my number in the system. I couldn't reschedule as was going on holidays , it ruined my day and my holidays aa it was too late to book somewhere else. Me going on hols with grey hair etc.

I was looked after by Dee, who managed to get my (very) complicated colour right first time…and the cut has been complimented more than once without solicitation!!! Delighted!

Went to PM, Forestside, yesterday, having had a consultation beforehand, during which I showed the stylist a photo of the style I wanted. Both the colour and style were discussed, and all was well! On the day, was advised I would have a full head of low-lights, all over lighter tone applied at the sink, along with a special treatment. Was quoted a price beforehand of £148, which shocked me, but because I was already there, and needed my hair done for an occasion, I felt I had to proceed, and also this price didn't even include a cut!! The final result: nothing remotely like the photo I had shown the hairdresser! When at the sink, I remember getting the second colour applied, and the hairdresser coming over to say it would need longer for it to take. I did not get the so-called additionak treatment I had obviously paid for. I was so devastated with the result, and moreover the price I paid, for a colour and style I didn't request or even liked. In conclusion, I was robbed and in broad daylight! I would avoid this place unless you can get a hairdresser someone can strongly recommend! This salon is only concerned with quick turnover...getting customers in and out as quickly as possible, regardless of how they are turned out.

Great cut and balayage re-do by Donna at Peter Mark Terry Land Galway this afternoon. She was so courteous and helpful. Not an easy job with so many different customers and needs etc but I really had a great experience. I have been going to this store for years and will happily keep going!

If you question anything the stylists become rude and confrontational. Customer service training needed. Never going back. Don't do what you ask for also despite asking 20 questions about what you want!!

My hair is ruined after asking for a trim of my fringe. They wouldn't just trim my fringe so I had to get a cut. I just said about half inch and keep layers. Got a step looking layer and Fringe ruined. Blunt. They tried to fix it for free after I complained but the damage was already done. I feel.so ugly after this. It's like when Monica asked for demi Moore and got Dudley Moore! I look like Rod Stewart

Absolutely awful service scam artist!!I went to pick up a present for my sister as a surprise when I went into store I explained it didn't know if it was the right thing I was buying they told me it was I also asked if its not the right item can I bring it back I was told yes you can I ask will I get my money back she said yes !!it was lies because I got home gave my sister the bag she it's the wrong one I said no problem ill bring it back. Went back to store and was not only left waiting an hour while they tried to figure out who could do a return only to be told no we can't take it back I explained I bought it the day before and clearly asked if i could get a refund and was told yes the manager basically didn't wanna know and simply did not my problem get on to head office I rang head office to make a complaint was told they will ring me back 6 weeks later nutting and stuck with this rubbish I wouldn't recommend anyone to purchase any of there products because it's a case of get the money in and who cares after that

I writing this with great sadness , i went to Peter Marks in Mahon point Cork roughly a month ago, when I left I was in floods of tears as a result of how they butchered my hair style, a style that I have had for years and years, I had initially been there a year ago and the stylist then was a nice lady who made an ok job of my hair, but last month she wasn't available so another girl cut my hair, this lady basically made fun of my hair style and said she didn't like it but would do a similar cut which would be much better .Peter Marks are not cheap so I expect a nice cut to a good standard and at the very least to be listened to So before she started I wanted to make it clear what I wanted so I showed her a picture and explained that I wanted to keep all my volume as I like to wear my hair big with plenty of volume, she said it would be easier to maintain at home but I told her , I've been doing my hair a long time, it's very easy for me to manage and maintain so again I told her not to loose the volume of hair , she proceeded to thin out my hair with a thinning siccors at the root of my hair , she said " I didn't really like the picture of the hairstyle but she will adapt it" , I felt so unheard and disregarded as if what I wanted didn't matter, I wasn't sure if she was finished as normally they offer hairspray or ask are you happy but she just left and I sat there for a further 10 to 15 mins wondering what was happening so I got up , in shock...., I could barely look , half my hair was gone, it was thinned out so much it looked flattened to my head , I just walked to the desk, paid and left, I have never had my hair that thin, I was almost covering my head I was in complete shock, I cried for days, I eventually worked up the courage to go to another hairdresser to see if she could fix it somehow for me but all she could do was even it out a little, the only way around it was to let it grow , I'm appalled at how much disregard and disrespect I was shown to the point where she was mocking the hairstyle I've always worn and loved, ( and which I've always been complimented on ) I'd just like to warm the next girls walking in the door of Peter Marks Mahon Point 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

Aine, Newbridge Salon, is a professional, passionate, truthful and creative hairdresser. In my eyes, exceptionally good! I absolutely love my new look which has taken years off me. Aine has a great bubbly personality which also made the time fly. I have booked in again already. Very happy customer!!!!

Attended for my dark hair to be lifted to light brown as discussed on phone and during dye test only to find out in the chair on the day it couldnt be done. I had to resign to scattered highlights. Offered a beverage chose coffee it was very small and very cold. Got a trim on my bob hairstyle which I did not find as good as with previous salon. Found it very overpriced at €206.50 and would not return. Let customers know what can and can't be done in advance and provide large hot beverages for price.

Have had three great appointments so far on level two, the square tallaght. Delighted with cut and blowdry from Amy on first appointment. Next time I went Paul did great colour and cut and boho blow dry. Went for wash and blow dry with Emma yesterday and again very happy. Can't believe I haven't been here sooner as lived in area for years. Receptionist staff so friendly and greet me by name even though a new customer. Offered tea, coffee, water on each visit. Highly recommend.

I made an appointment online with the Dunnes Newbridge branch but thought it was the Whitewater branch so that’s where I went for my allergy test on the Thursday . They then moved my appointment to the Whitewater branch on the Sunday at 3pm, keeping in mind that I was already there in person on Thursday and told them exactly what I wanted done .

I went to my appointment on the Sunday at 3. I only got attended to at 3:30pm only for them to tell me that what I wanted was going to take too long as they close at 5pm . They also did another allergy test saying that it’s not the same as the one I did before and I would have to wait 48 hours anyway which I believe was just another excuse . Initially I booked online and chose what services I needed but when I went in for the allergy test they failed to advise that I may need additional treatments etc so they landed up in the end giving me a quote that was double the initial web price .

I found this extremely frustrating as their staff are clearly either unprofessional, under trained or just too lazy to have tried to do my hair during the time I was there . They should realise that people take time out their day to attend to their appointments and have commitments which may rely on these appointments too ! Be better !

Had such a bad experience at Petermark, Jervis. The staff was not well trained and professional.. I told them to do a layer cut and mine was long hair. But they did a straight hair cut. Literally we couldn't find any one layered cut in hair. I am extremely disappointed with the service.

I went to an appointment at Peter mark
Market Cross Shopping Centre, yesterday 30/03/24 m. I waited for about half an hour. I wanted a blend of different colours to blend my greys. Long story short the stylist refused to do it saying I could only have an all over dark colour. I already had the towels etc on and now in the middle of a very busy salon I had to get up and leave.
I was both embarrassed and disappointed. 🙁

The worst experience of my LIFE. Run from this place

My daughter had an appointment on February 23rd 2024 at Peter marks McDonagh junction Kilkenny.
It was by far the most awful experience ever. A girl called Catherine attended to her. She was the rudest person I have ever met, she inspected my daughter’s hair who is only 11 yrs of age as if looking for nits . She then said sorry I can’t do her hair I’d be here till 12 midnight with the amount of mats.
She proceeded to say this in front of a packed saloon.
She really should not be working with general public ever. I subsequently went to another salon who said not a problem and gave her the best haircut ever.
Not pleasant for anyone most especially a young girl.
Hence I wouldn’t send my dog for grooming to McDonagh junction peter marks.

I just walked in and got an appointment , waited just a few minutes. I was offered coffee, tea, water. The hairdresser looked at my hair, had a chat about style and I had my hair washed. The styling was really great and suited my face. Well worth the price
