Absolutely appalling customer service…

Absolutely appalling customer service from Peacocks!!! Buyer beware!!! I returned 3 pairs of jeans in store that I had bought for my husband online but they were too large & returned to store......I'm still waiting for the refund of £56 since January 27th & it is now the 8th March!!! I have lost count of how many phone calls that I've made & visits to the shop! Absolutely dreadful experience.....just awful ☹️

I had to contact Peacocks customer…

I had to contact Peacocks customer service regarding part of my order which was missing but on the packing paper work .
After emailing I received a prompt reply from Fatme-Aicha their customer service advisor .
Who efficiently gave me my options of either reordering or refund ..
I reordered and she has kept me upto date with the process of the replacement delivery .
Great service.

HARRISON DESERVES A RAISE

I placed an order which whe typing in the address correctly, I then finished filling details and allowed auto fill to add my number etc, this however changed the address info and I didnt realise until after the order was placed! It was my own mistake for not checking it one final time.
I contacted customer support who said it hadn't shipped yet so they'd change the address lable for me before shipping. However I then got an evri email stating they have my parcel and I saw the address wasn't changed. Contacted evri who said they would also change it, but didnt and it got delivered to an entirely different side of bristol.

Contacted customer support to figure my options, and was speaking to Harrison, he was an awsome guy, super easy to chat to, kind, understanding, very down to earth and definitely human, more human than most others I end up dealing with through other companies etc, so this was a huge noticeable thing for me. What a legend he is!

Harrison suggested a replacement order which was awsome and we filled the form etc and bam, done, super easy process and what an awsome guy!

HARRISON, you deserve a raise my guy, hopefully your manager seems this..HE'S A LEGAND. (Thank you Harrison!!)

Terrible service

Terrible service. Returned an item. Queried the return and was told it was received. After some time queried again because I hadn’t got my refund. Was then told it hadn’t been received, query with EVRI and tracking number didn’t exist…it was the same one used in the first query!

Huyton branch peacock store is a joke…

Huyton branch peacock store is a joke as business who does not know anything about keeping it's customers.
If I could give less than one star I would. My partner bought a approx £40 jumper although was supposed to be the right size cause I get that size everywhere but this time from peacocks the neck and shoulder part was very tight.anyways took it bak in the period of return policy for exchange but did not have the paper receipt but brought proof of purchase debit card statement.showing all purchase details and dates, Bank proof in app etc just wanted bigger size never worn. Staff lady was very nice.was going to do exchange but said I av to ask manager ,even if she couldnt do it she was so kind helpfull that i would have walked away no questions asked but the manager came ,looked like he was whispering angry way to the girl so i approached him with smile to explain to him cause he was having a go at the staff but before even looking at situation or letting me say a word very angry attitude said to the girl no no u can't exchange at all very un proffesionaly I went to him and ask why he had very unhelpful angry attitude there is no need for that towards customer asking for exchange and he had aggressive attitude. he would not let me explain by rasing his voice i was saying I have proof of purchase not listening at all.then he became physcastic to me telling me I should give the jumper to homeless person who can make use of it when I said its no good to me too small waste of my money I need one size bigger but he had attitude that is not acceptable with customer at all.anyhow he refused blank didn't want listen raising his voice would not even look at goods or proof of purchase.he is not fit to be a manager of store.the girl working there was excellent person who tried to help us but he wouldn't allow her.this so called male manager I think he was bringing his personnel problems from home into store to deal with customer like this way.this was my local store which all family friends always bought from this place I'm sorry to say never again I put my foot in this shop or let anyone else I know to buy from this place.the manager needs to be re trained how to deal with customers otherwise this branch will loose money an close down.avoid this shop bad unhelpful customer service. I hope someone looks at this review an do something about it

Online Orders - avoid if you can’t return to store

Appalling online customer service. Received a faulty item which I ordered when it was on offer. No local store, so had to pay to return the faulty item to be “checked”. They could not replace the item, so it meant ordering another pair, but not at a promotional rate and also having to pay p&p, as total order under the amount to be eligible for free p&p. Will have to chase refund of postage, as they said they’d cover it if item was deemed faulty (even though I provided clear photos via email). They dismiss all points you try to make and really don’t care about customers being at a financial loss through something not their own fault. Also to add - ordered 2 pairs of jeans identical style and in petite. The darker colour is longer than the pale colour, they trail on the floor. How can identical styled jeans be so different? I will never order from this company ever again. Be warned! If you can return to a local store (for free), then that’s not an issue. But if you rely on returning online only, avoid at all costs.

Nightmare trying to get a refund for an online order. Terrible customer service

Returned an online order from Peacocks at my local store. The sales person could not process the refund as there was a glitch in the system. so she rang customer services who told her to call IT, who couldn't help so she rang customer services again.  All in all I was in there over an hour and it still could not be done. In the end the sales person had  to do the refund over the phone with CS. She gave them all the information they needed to issue a refund and confirmed with them that I would get an email and a refund. I didn't receive an email or a refund so rang CS, told them as above, they said they would email me and I would look into getting the refund arranged. Again no email and no refund.  I would not recommend Peacocks for online ordering, as it is hard work and time consuming trying to get your refund from them. It is atrocious customer service.

our experience of holloway

our experience of holloway, retail staff. PEACOCKS, Friendly polite, and a great Multi Tasker. Not only was this lady on the customer counter, folding and taking card or cash. The lady was also dealing with other customer enquires, from those who wasnt in the que. The lady was clam and even explained the vouchers we had received that day, and how we could reg details on line. credit where credit is due.

The shop in rutherglen arcade the staff…

The shop in rutherglen arcade the staff are amazing ..! Very very helpful when I had a problem with the a return got it sorted there and then , staff very polite and chatty would not shop on line again would rather go in to shop with staff like these guys on the floor ….

Avoid email as they don't respond but the chat guys were very helpful

I returned an online item via Evri who lost the parcel. Initially I emailed Peacocks and the first response I got did not read the email at all and then when I tried to chase a response I heard nothing. I raised a new email again and the response was a little better but again after the initial contact no one replies to requests for updates. I therefore decided to chase it in the chat and this was alot better experience I spoke with Kieran who asked me to send some additional info but then said there shouldn't be a problem doing the refund. He said if I hadn't had an email by the end of the day to contact again the next day. Which I did I then spoken to Brandon who was also very helpful and was able to authorise the refund Kieran started for me. I received an email confirming this shortly after the chat ended. In the future I will go straight to the chat and avoid email if possible. The chat team were very helpful.

Usually a pretty good store and I used to buy a lot of clothing her until I moved away.
Recently whilst on holiday I was so pleased to see BOOTCUT jeans I just grabbed 3 pairs in my size.
When I got home I discovered that they were all jegging style (even though the labels didn't say this), so I've got 3 pairs of pull on jeans I detest. Worse than that is that they are sized wrong! They are at LEAST 1 size smaller!! I've bought my sized jeans from 3 different stores no problem, so I know it's not me. I bought jeans for years from Peacocks they used to be absolutely spot on, so reliable, Inever needed to try them on, I never had a problem. This experience has put me off buying anything from them. What the heck is going on with womens sizing??

Hoddesdon branch

Today I visited the Hoddesdon branch (Hertfordshire) had the most lovely greeting with a smiling lady, she was so lovely! All the staff in this branch are so helpful and friendly unlike the staff in Waltham Cross branch. I will always go to Hoddesdon now. Hannah was so knowledgeable and helpful and sorted my returns no problem. I will definitely go back here
