We had a great time with On the Go Tours in Morocco. Well planned and we saw all the major sights. Hotels were varied, none unacceptable, just some were better than others. Our tour guide, Jamal, was tops. Knowledgeable, talkative and a great sense of humour - full marks to him as it made the tour better than anticipated. There were long days on the bus, some brutal, but Jamal broke up the journeys with coffee/toilet breaks plus sightseeing trips.

This review is for the ‘Fairy Tale journey through Germany’.
The people I met on this tour is what made my experience even better, moving as a team is key with large interchangeable tours of multiple languages. Pam from day one and Jay from day nine served as the best translators and guided information. Throughout our tour the hotels were clean and good daily breakfast variety.
Raymundo, our week long guide lacked important information during the totality of tour but friendly. Itinerary days with multiple stops, our free time was rushed to stay "on schedule". I rather have less stops and more free time. 'On the Go' used 'Europamundo' tours after our booking was confirmed and paid, which wasn't what was expected or wanted.

From start to finish this was a great tour. We were picked up from the airport 3 hours late by our guide Jaouad. He was pleasant, helpful, informative and always available. 100% to Jaouad 👏 We met our driver Mustapha the following day, a happy, easygoing person and a steady really safe driver. Our various accommodation/food was very nice and exceeded my expectations. We visited many Cooperatives/manufacturers eg leather, ceramics, rugs etc which were very interesting and unlike other tours there was NO pressure whatsoever to purchase anything. The tour was very comprehensive & informative. I could not recommend On the Go tours highly enough and this will be my first of many with them 👏

It was an amazing experience in Morocco, the guides in all parts of the cities were very knowledgeable and made the journey more interesting. Younes took care us from his heart.

The one star missing is for the hotels. Most were not very clean and some lacked towels, or aircondition not working properly. The one in Fes was the best.

Furthermore, the other star those dinner/lunch paid, there was enough meat/chicken for all of us. Not all the restaurants, but happened around two or three.

Our tour guide Jamal made a good tour with a good group exceptional. His commentary and helpful hints along the way, gave the group the opportunity to get the best out of what was already a well organised schedule.

Our tour was Totally Morocco. The transfer to the hotel went smoothly. The accommodation at Adam Park Hotel and Spa was pleasant. There was a large selection at breakfast and the dinner that was included was good. The vehicle that transported us was comfortable and Sulaiman is an excellent driver. Our guide,Younes, was very helpful and tried to please at all times. All requests were accommodated. The next hotel, Ksar Ben Toussef was a
3 star hotel and even though I personally did not have a problem with my room, one of our fellow travellers unfortunately found cockroaches in her room. This issue was glossed over by the hotel which is totally unacceptable. The desert camp, Camp Touarey was a good experience with regard to the camel ride, the entertainment and the accommodation. What was lacking however was the meal portions. We were a group of eight people plus the guide but the dishes only contained four pieces of chicken. This was the second time we were "under catered". A lunch which was included had a shortage of beef in the dishes ... four pieces for eight people is totally unacceptable. Here I would like to add that I had booked On the go in China, Egypt, Sri Lanka and Cambodia and had never experienced "under catering". Riad Reza in Fez gave us the traditional riad experience and by and large everyone was satisfied. The Soundouss Hotel in Rabat was pleasant. Our tour ended at the Stars Hotel in Marrakech which has an excellent location and ticked all the boxes. All the local guides in the various towns were extremely knowledgeable and excellent. My recommendation is that the Ksar Ben Youssef needs to fumigate their premises immediately and completely. Also the "meal shortages must be addressed as it is completely unacceptable to pay for a meal when only half of the tour group ends up with protein.

We really enjoyed our time in Morocco. Fez and the Sahara experience were the top of our list. From the time we arrived at the airport in Marrakech we were well looked after. We were met on time and made feel comfortable. Our guide Younes and driver, Soulamon, were extremely helpful in making sure we had every thing we needed throughout our trip and did everything they could to make our trip a memorable one. At times communication was a challenge but Younes patiently negotiated our questions and we generally came to understand each other. We found that Younes went out of his way to make sure that everyone was having a good time and getting the best from our experiences. Our other guides in each city were very informative. We would recommend this tour.

I cannot speak more highly of our experience on our tour of Magical Morocco! We had the most incredible experience and can't wait to go on another " on the go tour".
Firstly we had the most wonderful staff looking after us !
Our driver Sulayman was incredible, so safe, so polite and really looked after our safety on the roads as well as making sure our luggage was on board and looked after on a daily basis.
Our guide Omar, well what can I say ! We all decided that if we were on another " on the go tour" anywhere else in the world, that we would personally request that he alone should be our guide ! He was exceptional in ever aspect. He was organised, empathetic when fellow passengers had difficulties, he was so helpful when we had questions or needed assistance in finding banks/foriegn exchanges or even while shopping ! He gave us so much history on this fabulous country, and knew the answers to all the questions we had about ever aspect of life in Morocco. He assisted my wife when she was unwell while out trekking and after I'd mistakenly left clothing at our previous hotel he managed to have it sent on to us prior to us leaving the country. Once we arrived at our accommodation for the night he would check in with us to make sure everyone was comfortable with their room and the hotel as a whole. He sent us tips for every city about where to go and what to buy. There was never an issue with contacting him and asking questions while we were out and about without him, and his suggestions for places to eat were always wonderful. I can't speak more highly of his professionalism, his dedication and his support.
Overall I can say that we had an incredible time. We felt safe and cared for, and the tour itself was so well planned and organised. I really couldn't imagine trying to do this trip ourselves whilst enjoying it as much as we did. We learnt so much about this amazing country and its people and would HIGHLY recommend this tour to anyone planning on travelling to Morocco.... but please make sure you have Omar to guide you ! Thank you On the go tours and thank you to our amazing driver and especially to Omar for making it the trip of a lifetime.

What a wonderful trip! Our guide Jamal was amazing. His knowledge about Morocco and his pleasant jovial demeanor was well received. Jamal was great with helping us navigate terrain and also “haggle” with the locals for deals if we wanted to purchase anything. Jamal allowed us to truly experience Moroccan culture, through dining choices, places we visited and by meeting fellow local guides for some of our stops. I really appreciated the knowledge and information that was passed on to the group. The camel trek in the Sahara and the Berber camp, was a lifetime experience I will always treasure. I travelled as a single person and had a great time with our group of 9. This was my 3rd tour with On the Go- and I will be back for sure.

Our tour guide in Morocco, Jamal, was excellent and went above and beyond what was required. Most of the hotels were good, but some could be improved on.

Definitely a must for anyone who has not been to Morocco before.

We just completed the Imperial Morocco & the Blue City 8 day Tour.
We were met by our guide Omar at the airport and were provided with luxury transportation to our hotel in Casablanca during which time Omar checked us all in and made sure we were all settled in our hotel. Everyday he checked to see that everybody was comfortable and each evening he provided us with the next day’s itinerary by text.
On the 1st day of the tour in Casablanca, Omar provided our group with an orientation of the proposed route and location on a map where we would be travelling to and provided us with an opportunity to ask questions regarding the tour. He also provided recommendations to restaurants and banks at all locations as required.
From the very beginning of the tour Omar provided us with an indepth history of Morocco which he continued to do on a daily basis and answered all the questions that our group had. His immense knowledge of Morocco was very informative and his passion for his country was evident.
Each day Omar provided information on sites and the regions which we were travelling along with how these regions survived economically. At each stop Omar ensured that everyone was outfitted correctly with walking shoes, hats, sunscreen and that everyone had adequate water so the group remained constantly hydrated.
Omar went above and beyond during our tour even taking care of my husband’s medication which required refrigeration at all times.
Whilst staying at the resort in the Atlas Mountains, the hotel did not provide water so Omar went out personally and purchased copius bottles of water for the group.
At each stop Omar introduced us to a local guide where warranted or acted as a guide in specific cases. He also made us aware of local customs.
While driving between locations Omar requested we provide a list of our favorite songs which he played during the journey. This was very entertaining and made the drive very enjoyable and a lot of laughs were had.
His everyday interaction with the group and sense of humor made the tour fun!
On the final day of travel he provided a quiz on Moroccan history and information he had given us during the tour to see how much we had absorbed. This was an excellent exercise and enforced our knowledge of Morocco.
Overall, Omar was an excellent tour guide, great communicator, personable with indepth knowledge of Morocco’s history, economics, infrastructure, geography, biology and much more.
The tour was extremely well organized and the accommodation was a good standard with the Riad’s being the highlight.
We would highly recommend Omar as a 5 star tour guide and would take another of his tours without hesitation. Omar exceeded our expectation as a tour guide.
By the time the tour ended, our group including Omar were like family.
We would also like to thank our driver Hussan for his proficiency in taking care of the group everyday and driving in difficult terrain and situations. Omar and Hussan make a great team and we will always be highly grateful.

Our trip leader Omar went above and beyond to ensure we all had the perfect trip. The breadth of his knowledge and his passion for his country was seriously impressive!

Our guide Omar was exceptional. He went above and beyond ensuring we had everything we needed at our accommodations and answering all our questions. Explaining the local customs, his knowledge of local history as it related to the amazing sites we explored in Morocco made this tour so special. Our driver Hassan and the lovely Mercedes 12 seat vehicle were top notch, comfort and safety! Omar kept us well entertained b/w stops providing background knowledge, facts and a whole lot of good fun!! Highlight for me-hike and swimming under the falls at the national park. I truely feel I’ve seen and experienced Morocco in comfort style, zero anxiety-pure joy. Highly recommend!!!

This was our first visit to Morocco. We chose this specific tour as we wanted to visit Chefchaouen. The communication with On The Go tours was very good right from when we first booked.
Our Tour Guide Omar contacted us before our arrival which gave us confidence. He greeted us with the most welcoming smile on our arrival which immediately put us at ease.
Nothing was a problem for Omar. Even at times when we were tired he jollied us along. Omar was flexible when necessary, and supported the individual needs of our group. He always had a range of recommendations for meals in each new town. His incredible knowledge of history, culture, geography and biology was so interesting to listen to and learn from. His English was fantastic and extremely easy to understand.
He brought us together as a group of eleven very quickly, right from the first group meeting. He was always approachable, welcomed questions and shared the next day plans with us verbally and by text each evening. He was there to greet us each morning and never appeared preoccupied.
Omar exuded passion for his incredible country and compassion and empathy for each member of our group. He made us feel like friends right from the beginning and he had a wonderful sense of humour.
Highlights of our tour were Omar’s recommendation for dinner on our first night in Casablanca - a fantastic restaurant with traditional entertainment, and visiting the Hassan ll Mosque; staying in a beautiful Riad in Rabat; Chefchaouen was stunning and lovely to have two nights there and a super lunch; the culture and history of Fes; Omar made our long driving day such fun with games and music and a quiz on our last day; Omar was a fabulous tour guide around the Marrakech Medina. Even after farewelling us Omar stayed in touch to ensure we were all ok!
Omar was the best part of our tour of Morocco!
I wish to also mention our driver Hassan. Hassan was always looking out for us on the bus. We felt super safe with his driving. Thank you Hassan.
We 100% recommend Omar and Hassan. On The Go were an excellent company to travel to Morocco with, everything was taken care of from prior to our visit, our arrival, a fascinating tour, always plenty of water to drink and getting us to the airport well in time to catch our flight. It was a fantastic experience in a stunning and amazing country.

We have just finished an 8 day tour of Morocco thru Casablanca, Rabat, Fes,Chefchaouen and Marrakech.Omar was our guide and he really made the tour. His knowledge is incredible of the history of Morocco. Nothing was too much. There was a birthday on the tour and a celebration with cake was organised. We took an alternative one day to a spa and all we had to do was wait in the lobby to be picked up. There were a day or 2 where the drive was long but they were fun and time went so quickly due to Omar’s organisation skills and was able captivate everyone’s attention. We said goodbye and then later reached out for a restaurant suggestion for 11 and 25 minutes later we were sitting in a quiet secluded setting for our last dinner with our fellow travellers. Communications during the tour were excellent. Group messages every day with important info and next days itinerary. I think we hit the jackpot with our guide, driver Hassan and fellow travellers. Only thing I would say if you are doing the tour add an addition day at the end at Marrakesh for some extra sight seeing. Our mistake.

My friend & I had best time on the Taj Express Tour 4-12 Sept 2026. Our tour guide Shailendra was a true gentlemen, highly knowledgeable & helped us organise a surprise dinner for my friends 60th birthday, he made sure our long road trips were kept interesting by sharing interesting facts & historic knowledge about each region we travelled through, Best tour guide ever! 10/10
Our driver Gagan was exceptional too in his driving skills and always watching our bags were kept safe. The mini bus was super luxurious & totally unexpected, padded leather reclining seats, perfect aircon & a large fridge to keep all our drinks cold. Water was handed out regularly & both Shailendra & Gagan regularly stopped to pick up snacks & crisps for us. The Taj Mahal was our highlight, Shailendra was a very capable photographer helping us capture special moments, he really went over and above in his duties. The stepwell was fascinating as was the Observatory with its various huge sun dials & staying at the Maharaja’s property in Dolphur with its full marble art deco bathrooms was a true luxury. Everyone was very courteous & all the staff polite. A magnificent tour we would highly recommend. Thanks OTG Tours!

We just came back from our 13 day Magical Morocco tour. We thoroughly enjoyed this tour and felt it was the perfect number of days to really get a feel for the country. Our guide Aziz was simply awesome. He was so friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. We knew we were in good hands and enjoyed learning about this beautiful country and all the info he shared with us. He went above and beyond by making arrangements for us when we wanted an afternoon off in Fes to spend an afternoon at a riad with a pool. Even after the tour ended and we extended our stay by several days, he encouraged us to reach out about anything.

This tour seems to be the perfect blend of organized activities and free time. Our only suggestion for improvement is air conditioned tents in the Sahara for the overnight stay. I know….bet privileged comment. But it was incredibly hot and stuffy in the tents. Would have been better to sleep under the stars like the guides!

Our food experiences were surprisingly good with good restaurant suggestions by Aziz.

Loved this tour and Morocco!

Just returned from Como and Bernina Express experience. All organisation was great, including stay at Hotel Barchetta and taxi pickups.

I would have to say our tour operator guide Aziz, made our 13 day trip the perfect vacation and introduction to Morocco and its people. He was very knowledgeable, informative to all questions asked and met all our needs when asked. We have taken many tours and the tour guide could make or break your experience but Aziz I would rate a 10 out of 10 in all categories. The hotels and Riads were great. Aziz made himself available to us at all times. I must say the food in Morocco and the scheduled lunch and dinner suggestions were great. This is the third time we have used On The Go and because of the very good experience we have had with them, I recommend them and will plan to use them again on next years journey wherever that may be. Thank you Aziz and On The Go.
