I have been extremely impressed with all aspects of dealing with this company from day one. I was sent samples of chosen leathers straight away and was followed up with a personal telephone call when we had placed our order the next day. I was told due to present difficulties during lockdown that it would be longer than the usual 8-10 weeks for my sofa to be ready, so there were no nasty surprises . All my communications by e-mail were replied swiftly and now I have a gorgeous sofa bed. I am very very happy.Thank you to all concerned.

Very happy with the whole process of buying a sofa from Old Boots. We initially booked an appointment to go to the showroom to test and measure for a small sofa for our little cinema room. The costumer service in the showroom was exceptional, we were given various samples to bring back home to decide which leather would suit the best. After some measuring back at home, we placed order online on a Snuggler in anti-scratch leather. We were kept well-informed throughout the whole process.
However, on the day of delivery, the wrong sofa was sent to our address. I contacted Old Boots immediately, and had a really quick response from them. They confirmed that the wrong sofa was loaded, and they are chasing the delivery company to rearrange a new delivery asap. We received our sofa roughly a week after that, and we are very happy with it!

Unfortunately our experience with old boot sofas was not a good one.
We initially reviewed all the comments from customers and were very sceptical as the reviews were not very good.
However we drove to the showroom from Kent, the customer service was very good and we were given information on why there were so many negative reviews, and on now they have been taken over and it’s all changed.
We were happy with the explanation and chose a lovely extra large 3 seater sofa and arm chair and a lovely large pink bottle.
The sofa we were shown in the show room, you sat in and the leather just wrapped around you.
We placed the order the first week in February expecting delivery in April, then unfortunately the pandemic hit, which understandably put everything back.
This was not there fault and we totally understood.
We eventually got a date for delivery of the 1st week in July.
Unfortunately upon delivery it was noticed by my wife that the 3 seater sofa was actually a 2 seater and they also forgot to send the bottle.
They apologised for this manufacturing error and said the new cushions would be made and sent out in 8 weeks.
At this time we decided to also order a bean bag we had seen in the show room.
After the 8 weeks we finally received the 3 new cushions and bean bag and glass bottle
Unfortunately the bean bag was ripped and the 3 cushions sent had no feather topper on and were plain sponge.
We also found that when sitting on the sofa and chair everything was so hard and nothing like sitting in the showroom sofa and you kept slipping forward.
We decided at this point to return everything and just get a refund.
Collection of the sofa after we said we didn’t want it again took another month.
However the refund was processed after 10 days and we were given a refund and were able to keep the bean bag.
All in all we were very disappointed with the experience and disappointed with actually how uncomfortable the sofa and chair were.

Amazing team from sales to delivery even during Covid lockdown. We absolutely love our leather Hepburn sofa. Would recommend one hundred percent.

I was initially very wary of ordering as I couldn’t make it to see your showroom but I got a feeling from the first time I called up to order my swatches and from the excellent reviews that my trust wouldn’t be let down , For someone who has only ever ordered from dfs before , I would thoroughly recommend using old boots as I have a far superior sofa for a very reasonable price .

We ordered our settee and chair in lockdown we received communication all the way and we wernt disappoint when we received it had the Hepburn range and the footstool in willow and it's so well made and comfortable well worth the money

This is a great little company. We're delighted with the build quality and the comfort and the experience has been a good one from start to the delivery. I'm so very pleased to see them back up and running after the lockdown. I would highly recommend a visit to their showroom to try their range - the staff were very charming and couldn't have been more helpful. Thanks Zoe and all concerned.

I have been married for over 50 years, and have had various sofas over that time.
At the age of 82 I decided that my next purchase would be my last, so as the only furniture retailer nearby is DFS, who had nothing suitable for us, I decided to search online. Perhaps I should mention that I am almost housebound, and have difficulty with shopping in real life.
Eventually I found just what I was looking for – or so I thought. The sofas were delivered, and looked perfect. We loved the style and material, however, within days the problems began. Wrinkling of base cushion covers, and the feeling of sitting on bags of old Lego is one way of putting it. The filling in the base cushions migrated every few minutes.
What is the purpose of a sofa????
Comfort is the main purpose, and these sofas do not provide an iota of comfort, and despite best efforts we cannot manage even one day of comfort and relaxation. These sofas are the epitome of discomfort.
The base cushions are absolutely unstable, and never before have we been asked to go through the palaver explained to us. Most cushions on similar products are quite firm, and only need turning, certainly not bashed into submission every day ! We were offered new fillings, which turned out to be exactly as before. We were again offered new fillings, guess what!
I am so ashamed of how they look and feel that I avoid inviting visitors to sit on them, and despite the extra expense that I am considering abandoning them and looking for others, but object to paying to have these horrors taken away. My last communication with Mr Lowry remains unanswered after one month; discourteous, to say the least.

I ordered the Historian sofa bed, and it’s brilliant. Well made, sturdy and lovely quality. I did have to wait a bit longer than originally planned, which was then exacerbated even more by the lockdown for another couple of months, but that wasn’t their fault.
It was well worth the wait, though...very happy with the final result. Customer service is good, friendly staff ready to assist.

I found Karen to be extremely professional, personable and helpful. The service was excellent and the quality of the sofas was fantastic. I can't recommend the company or Karen enough.

The superlatives could go on.....

I purchased the Alfie back in January 2020, a 2 seater, and 2 armchairs.
I had deliberated over them for months, then took the plunge and headed to the showroom in on Fulham Broadway to get an up close and personal look at the sofas.
To be honest, the website does not do the Alfie range full justice...seeing is believing!!

Although the fabric finish on the display models varied from what I wanted, the show room staff(very friendly and helpful may I add) were on hand to produce a full "throw" in the leather finish I wanted, that was placed over the display model so I could get a real feel for what it was that I wanted.

Needless to say, I was sold and ordered and paid on the spot!!!!.

The whole process and dealings with Old Boot were seamless, and I was kept informed all the way through the ordering, manufacturing and delivery process with regular contact. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there was a delay to the original delivery date, but throughout, Old Boot kept me informed of company policy and steps that were being taken to arrange delivery, fantastic customer service.

Needless to say, I am an extremely happy recipient of what is an absolutely stunning piece of furniture, and I couldn't be happier, and wouldn't hesitate in recommending Old Boot to anyone.

Excellent quality sofas and outstanding customer service. Love my new Hepburn sofas, I returned without any problem, two Chester sofas which were too petite for my big grandson. I was pleasantly astonished by how understanding and helpful Old Boot were. Would recommend this company to anyone wanting a quality sofa.

This was my second purchase from old boot sofas, and the process was as seamless as it was the first time. I was kept informed throughout the whole process and they delivered it within the timeline estimated.
