I am in the same position as many other customers. Ordered a bookcase after Christmas, with an initial delivery lead advertised on the website of between 4- 6 weeks. Then received an email telling me that the order could not be delivered until March. The the email yesterday saying that the order could not be processed at this time - it is 'on hold', and they were not accepting cancellations or giving refunds, despite not actually being in administration yet.

I am concerned that the Director Robin Hunt was aware that the company would not be able to fulfill orders taken after Christmas, yet still took our money anyway.
Robin is also a director of other companies who appear to be active but dormant in terms of trading. Why is this?
I would like Trading Standards to investigate Robin Hunt and his business practices. Would hate that this man goes and opens another business that ends up also in administration.
Perhaps if we all complain to Trading Standards they might undertake an investigation. Though, he is probably not doing anything illegal - just playing the game.
Perhaps Mr Hunt would would like to respond to his customers on Trust Pilot?

I ordered a small sideboard in November 2017 received several emails deferring the delivery date. Then received an email yesterday saying they were planning on going into administration. But this morning received another email giving me a new delivery date in April?? Whats going on! Surely we should be covered by some sort of trading standards and should'nt they be investigated. Their website needs closing down if they are no longer trading. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY UNTIL THEY SORT OUT OUR PROBLEMS. . Log your complaint via the Citizen Advice Consumer Service website there is a form which they will process and if necessary pass onto trading standards.

Please please do not attempt to order from this company as there is no guarantee you will receive your item. We ordered and have received an e mail that they are looking to go into administration so not definite we will get what we ordered. Please please do not cause yourself any problems by ordering and then having to deal with the fall out and attempting to get your money back.

The site is still allowing customers to put items in their basket. PLEASE DON'T

Thank god i paid with a credit card (20 nov 2017) was told seven weeks for delivery and now its on hold..great..rang bank as soon as i got email and was assured i would get my money back,ok these things happen but website still up and running and no doubt taking orders,this is not right and i fear a lot of people could loose their money,really poor show from this company.

Bank reimbursed my money yesterday so happy with that, as for OFS i feel this has been one big scam.

disgusting, dishonest and disappointing service to say the least! ordered a TV cabinet unit on 31/12/2017, on a 4-6 week delivery lead time. Since received emails delaying my order until March, and a further email to say the company have filed to appoint an adminstrator but no definitive answer as to whether they are in administration?! so much uncertainty for a company who will have CERTAINLY raked money in over the christmas period, promised CERTAIN delivery dates, and now are unlikely and most uncertain as to whether they are able to fulfil such empty promises. in no way has any of the communication during this process been comforting or assuring. how can i trust and put faith into a company who don't even trust and have faith in themselves and their own guarantees, and are most unconfident when advising and updating customers of the circumstances? disgraceful at best. also offering no cancellations or refunds during this process is diabolical. don't worry, we as the consumer will wait for you to find your feet whilst we struggle to find our own money that we've lost and be able to claim this back through no fault of our own. although it is still beyond me how no refunds or cancellations can be processed when there are still uncertainties surrounding whether the company are actually in adminstration, and the company are still active and trading online? the company should do the decent thing and refund all orders that can't be fulfilled, although requesting this is like try to arrange an appointment with the pope since they have cut all their telephone lines, literally leaving all customers in the dark. cowboy company, AVOID!

Ordered beginning of Dec now been told March delivery and no chance to cancel ... disgrace of a company

Took over £600 two weeks ago, delivery due tomorrow. Must have known they were going under. Probably start a new company tomorrow.

Company took order for a product and said they would ship in 2 to 4 weeks once they had ordered the product in themselves. Low and behold a week later they are going into administration. I suspect they tried to get as many orders placed during the January sale with no intention of ever fulfilling them. Ridiculous.

Basically order placed in October 17 never received. Contacted them a few times asking for a refund which they said they would do but the money was never returned to my account. Now they are going into liquidation but their website appears to still be taking orders so beware!

I have waited since 1st Nov 2017 (when money was taken) for my furniture to be delivered. Today I received contact from the delivery company to say my order was on Hold. I've tried calling and emailing having the same issues as others. I've finally had an email to say they are appointing an administrator. So the company is highly likely to be going into Liquidation! DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM! Seems like none of us are going to get our orders and also won't get refunds. Best bet is to go through your bank, etc.

I suspect the company has gone into liquidation! My order has been delayed 3 times and now go logistics have told me that my order is On Hold???? And no one from oak furniture solutions has contacted me plus none of the numbers are working. I have £600 worth of goods that I have paid for

Have 2 outstanding orders, from this company. One ordered in December, the delivery has been cancelled twice, and cannot get a reply from delivery company Go Logistics,or Oak Furniture Solutions itself. Phone line for customer service and branches is no longer working.

I was slightly concerned by the 'terms and conditions' pertaining to the purchase of this product (an OAK TV unit.) They went on about no returns or refunds being possible if you did not keep the original packaging and I feel that this is ridiculous for large items like this and I am not sure that it is legal to insist on that in any case. The delivery driver also said the same when he brought the unit. In the end, the unit was fine and is of a very good quality and undamaged thankfully but I would hesitate to purchase again from this company given these 'conditions of sale'. I did NOT see these mentioned on the website BEFORE I placed my order or else I would not have done so.

No one answering phone calls nor responding to emails. How can this be? We took delivery of table yesterday which turned out to be defective when unwrapped. However we cannot make contact with Oak Furniture Solutions to discuss. Very frustrating and very alarming. Unfortunately we paid by debit card so have little comeback.

Awful experience. Ordered a chest of drawers on the 11/11/17. Delivery has been delayed 3x now, with an expected delivery in August 2018!! Emailed and left a voice message yesterday, asking for a full refund. No response! Telephoned today, voice message stated 'the office is closed due to unforeseen business interruptions'.
Where is my chest of drawers that is paid for in full! Where is my refund!
