It was a complete disaster including discovering fraud from the recovery agency they sent to my incident…. And then the engineer they sent to look at my vehicle who not surprisingly did a have ass job in their favor of the NFU OF COURSE……doing a spot sample for a fuel contamination issue instead of following guidelines of representational sampling of 4 points in the fuel system for proper diagnosis.
This will probably have to go to a judicial decision .Even the hire car eas a disaster..

Excellent service, prompt settlement of claim.

NFU Mutual are efficient, very fair and concluded the business of my claim effectively and in a timely manner.

Went online to get a car insurance quote. They said they would call back. They didn't. Looking at some other reviews it looks like they are currently ruining their reputation through this. They should say online that they are too busy to get new customers, get people on overtime, get more staff, stop advertising for more customers, or some such.

Nfu did all the work and paid my claim very quickly

it was very difficult getting info from Hospital and Doctors Surgery, due to waiting times, and I had to pay for it.
As of the NFU, I felt I was being interrogated and made to feel like a criminal. It was a genuine claim.

We were kept informed at every stage and the staff were very helpful in completing the claim requirements

The NFU and Loss adjusters handled the whole claim with understanding and thoughtfulness, with regular updates right through till the final settlement.

I have always found NFU to be professional and helpful. They aren't the cheapest, but I consider them one of the best, and that's why I used them.

I wanted to insure a new 5.0 ltr F-Type, and their underwriter stated they didn't cover 'racing cars'. I pointed out that they had insured my 5.0 ltr F-Pace SVR for the previous 4 years, which goes 0-60 in 3.8 seconds, but they weren't interested.

I also pointed out that SVR stands for 'Special Vehicle Racing', but their representative was at a loss.

In the end, I went elsewhere.

I have CANCELLED ALL my insurance policies with NFU. They expected me to drive with a broken car windscreen 22+ miles, 50 mins, to get it repaired, no repair available in my drive even though car windscreen covered my insurance. I am nearly 80. Also their policies are v v expensive. Date of breakage sometime in July I think, torn up all their 3 Policies.

I would 100% recommend the NFU. Alfred Bryant is absolutely brilliant. Always available to speak to! Outstanding service!

I filled out their online form to obtain a car insurance quote, but like other reviewers have reported, I didn’t receive a call back as promised so have now gone elsewhere. My first experience of NFU, and probably my last.

I was annoyed to lose my hearing aid. Poor design to risk coming off with woolly hats or spectacle cleaning.

NFU insure commercial investment properties to the value of almost £20 million. I am seriously looking to insure them elsewhere.
