My experience with Moniker was quite disappointing. I originally had my website managed by godaddy for my business, in which I have a trademark for the business name. Unfortunately the domain expired, within a very short time, for which I was unaware (my email on file was no longer valid). I learned that the domain had been quickly transferred to Moniker. I have spent years attempting to retrieve my domain name in order to create a website for the business. Moniker has not been helpful, at all, and I am not clear how this domain name could be used since I have a trademark for the business name. As mentioned, this experience has been so disappointing.

This review itself is about a lost domain name from another company, GoDaddy.
As your domain name expired, it became available again for another party to register it. Moniker has no ability to prevent such actions, the domain name was re-registered by one of our customers, not us directly. We always remind customers to keep their email addresses up to date as that's the only way we, or GoDaddy, would be able to notify you about the domain's renewal.
