I felt very welcomed and encouraged at all times considering I am claustrophobic

From arriving at reception i was greeted with a smile and asked if i wanted a drink. i was then asked to sit in the nice waiting room.
When the lady came to greet me for the scan she again smiled and took me to the changing room. after this she took me to the scanning room and went through what was going to happen and asked me regularly if i was ok and ready to go. during the scan she kept in contact telling me how long the next scan was. after the scan i was taken back to the changing room.
great service from the start. only negative is the price.

From the first contact by phone to saying goodbye after the mri, everything was perfect. I was nhs funded and was treated the exact same as a privately paying patient.
All the staff were absolutely fantastic when I went in for the mri the 2 male mri scanners where so good and me being a very anxious person I can honestly say I was calm. We were given tea, coffee and biscuits i had mine after the scan. The parking was easy we managed to park right outside the cafe next door. The place is also very very easy to find we came up from west midlands. I would tell anyone to go to medserena in Manchester. They truly are a 5⭐️ company.

The staff, reception were super helpful, I was made a drink and reassured of the process. Its such a nice place, easy to find and parking was easy. Thank you

I just wanted to say thank you to Maninder at Medserena London for her time and patience and kindness yesterday when I had my MRI scan.
I suffer with claustrophobia and anxiety and Maninder made me feel very calm and at ease, she explained everything that was going to happen and how long for etc - which was very helpful to me and I was so pleased to be able to have the MRI which I have been unable to have in a tunnel MRI machine.
She had a lovely manner and was very kind.

This was my 2nd time here and I was seen on time, and by a very lovely member of the team. She was understanding and mindful of the reason people are there, as a result of claustrophobia etc. Speaking to me during the scan and checking in. Everything was well explained.

All good and straight forward except I wasn’t offered a choice of program on the tv during the actual scan.
I become dizzy watching zooming in movement across a watery terrain - I wasn’t made aware that I could have watched something else.

Jane the lady who works on Reception was so kind and patient we were lost in Manchester she took the time to guide us she was also so kind when I finally arrived for the scan she helped make a very stressful day a lot easier THANK YOU SO MUCH.
The radiologist was also very kind and caring throughout the scan.

I’ve had several open scans here because of claustrophobia and have always been treated with great care and consideration for my condition. Would highly recommend.

From my booking everyone I spoke to was polite warm and helpful. From the young lady who arranged my appointment to the reception staff and radiographers all were warm welcoming and kind. The centre in Manchester was easy to get to it was immaculate bright and calm.

I am very claustrophobia and was still a bit worried about having my MRI. Well nothing to worry about the lady that took the MRI was very understanding and helped me with all the scans I needed.Fully recommended this company for anyone that is Claustrophobic. Thank you

The radiographer was amazing and she had an excellent duty of care when it came to me personally. She remembered everything about my case and if it was not for quick thinking and expertise I would have been in a wheelchair. And I have see her Maninder Kaur three times now and she has always given me Exceptional service

My Medserena report said that my scans showed no evidence of CCI, which was a surprise as I had very severe symptoms.

I sent my images to a Neurosurgeon in Spain who specialises in CCI and they told me that my scans are consistent with CCI and AAI and that I have brainstem compression. They showed me on my scans how they'd come to this conclusion and its glaringly obvious when its pointed out. They also said (in passing) that the Medserena scans were of poor quality.
The lady that did my Medserena scans was nice, but seemed quite stressed. She didnt tell me to lean my head on the back of the seat so I was holding my head tilted back totally unsupported and it was too painful I had to press the emergency button, so those images were wasted which was heartbreakingas it was so painful. I had to grab my head with my hands and pull it to upright again as I'd lost all strength.
They didn't tell me until after my scan that the results can take up to 10 days. They didn't send the scans to me, only to my GP, even though I'd self referred. Then after asking for the scans after 10 days they just sent me the report, I had to ask again to finally have access to my images.

All the other staff were lovely, the place was clean and seemed professional. The service they provide is essential as I dont know of anywhere else in the UK that does this kind of scan, but I definitely recommend a second opinion for CCI, which is a shame after you've spent all that money.

Upright MRI. Having arrived on time I was welcomed by Jane and her reception colleague. Was brought to waiting lounge and offered tea, coffee or water.
Within a few minutes I was with the very friendly MRI team. Completed the scan and reception had taxi waiting for me. No claustrophobia. Such a brilliant service.
