The radiographer was amazing and she had an excellent duty of care when it came to me personally. She remembered everything about my case and if it was not for quick thinking and expertise I would have been in a wheelchair. And I have see her Maninder Kaur three times now and she has always given me Exceptional service

My Medserena report said that my scans showed no evidence of CCI, which was a surprise as I had very severe symptoms.

I sent my images to a Neurosurgeon in Spain who specialises in CCI and they told me that my scans are consistent with CCI and AAI and that I have brainstem compression. They showed me on my scans how they'd come to this conclusion and its glaringly obvious when its pointed out. They also said (in passing) that the Medserena scans were of poor quality.
The lady that did my Medserena scans was nice, but seemed quite stressed. She didnt tell me to lean my head on the back of the seat so I was holding my head tilted back totally unsupported and it was too painful I had to press the emergency button, so those images were wasted which was heartbreakingas it was so painful. I had to grab my head with my hands and pull it to upright again as I'd lost all strength.
They didn't tell me until after my scan that the results can take up to 10 days. They didn't send the scans to me, only to my GP, even though I'd self referred. Then after asking for the scans after 10 days they just sent me the report, I had to ask again to finally have access to my images.

All the other staff were lovely, the place was clean and seemed professional. The service they provide is essential as I dont know of anywhere else in the UK that does this kind of scan, but I definitely recommend a second opinion for CCI, which is a shame after you've spent all that money.

Upright MRI. Having arrived on time I was welcomed by Jane and her reception colleague. Was brought to waiting lounge and offered tea, coffee or water.
Within a few minutes I was with the very friendly MRI team. Completed the scan and reception had taxi waiting for me. No claustrophobia. Such a brilliant service.

Felt at ease and was a very professional service!

Very clean, staff friendly. This was my second visit for a scan on just a different part of the body. The only difference being was that on the previous occasion I recall the lady speaking to me every so often to reassure me ie That I was doing well and I was half way through (even though it’s an open Mri I suppose I’m just a nervous person). Maybe because I’d been before they just assumed I was ok. All in all though it’s better than the enclosed scan that I am terrified of !

I am severely claustrophobic so I went to Medserena in Londonfor an upright MRI today.
All the staff were wonderful. They reassured me and were very Patient's. Even though it was an upright scan I was still very nervous. I shouldn't have been. It wasn't as noisy as I was expecting plus you can watch a video to take your mind off it.

Fantastic setup very good service

It is almost a year ago I had the MRI scan. The service was professional perfection by each person involved from front desk to scan. I was nervous and someone sat in with me which made all the difference.
Lovely waiting room. MRI not being in a noisy tunnel is perfection, it is compassionate medicine!

Stanley the radiologist was extremely kind and put me at ease. I found everything so calm and reassuring. I would recommend this service, if like myself you cannot tolerate the ordinary MRI scanner. Everything is so bright, that definitely helps if you are claustrophobic. Stanley talked to me throughout the scan. Every single member of staff are very welcoming and put you at your ease. The whole experience from the staffs welcoming friendly nature to the scanner it's self was in my opinion amazing!! I'm an anxious person but on this occasion they helped ease any anxieties.

The only problem I experienced was the stairs , I was in excruciating pain, I am chlostaphobic so obviously not taking the lift .

Overall though it was a pleasant experience.
