Ordered a gate from this company on the 25th April with a delivery date of 6 - 8th May, I was sent an email to say that the gate was dispatched on 1st May, (this was a lie) on the evening of 8th May I start to ask where the gate is, receive various dates for delivery ranging from 18th - 25th after various communications on the 10th I’m informed it will be delivered by 13th, but today 12th may I’m now told they have issues and will not be delivered until end of May, shite company and not one I would ever order with again they have wasted over two weeks of my time and had my money for that time.

DO NOT USE! Ordered gates and waited for delivery updates, no information from the company or on their chosen tracking app "shop". You can't speak to them as phone goes to answer machine which is full. I questioned them via email and they cancelled my order. Waiting for my refund!

Delivery time is shocking. I've had orders arrive from europe more quickly.
1 week after dispatch still waiting didn't arrive on time .
Ended up cancelling my order and buying elsewhere.

I gave this company 1 star but there really should be a 0 star option. Ordered some gates over 1 month ago with a delivery date about 1 month ago and despite various calls and e-mails with lots of promises of delivery almost every day, nothing has transpired. Looks like a small company taking on too much work from B&Q. promising the world and wholly unable to deliver

After ordering a bespoke sized gate and waiting 3 weeks for delivery it was the wrong size. I emailed and called and was assured that I would receive my replacement gate the next week. This did not happen. No one answers emails and you can't get a hold of them by phone as they either don't pick up or their voicemail box is full! I've been given the run around. Don't use this company!
The communication and customer service is poor and I'm still awaiting a replacement gate and still have a gate in my garden that needs picked up.
I will be speaking with my bank to get a full refund.
Be warned this is not a good company to deal with.

Ordered driveway gates on 14th April and was told delivery would be 21-25April - stayed home , didn’t arrive. Then told delivery would be 25-28April-stayed home, didn’t arrive. Then told will definitely be delivered on 6-7 May - stayed home didn’t arrive again . Infact I was actually sent a message on 24th April saying that my gates had been dispatched yet another lie ! Phoned them today asked about delivery again and was told it would be next week now, when I said I wanted a definite date I was told they needed to speak with the “ team” and I would be called back That never happened instead they cancelled my order ? They are a total shambles my advice is don’t bother shop elsewhere.

I ordered a side gate, over a month ago on 03/04/26. It still hasn't arrived. I have had two dates for an ETA and both have been and gone. Still no news where my gate is! No update or anything!
I would not recommend purchasing here.

Delivery late , no notice of which day , part of delivery missing , door delivered no latch set sent

I initially called to speak to MD Carpentry about a bespoke front garden gate. They were very helpful told us to select a gate size and then send over the exact measurements. Delivery 7 to 14 days. I’ve now followed up twice and was initially told sorry busy due to Easter and bank holidays. Ok so then waited and called again for an update on the delivery of my gate. I spoke to a lady who advised the gate was picked up by the courier on Friday along with brackets and lock I also ordered. Initially I was advised delivery week of the 2nd and upon calling on Friday the lady told me it’s out and will be delivered Tuesday and for the inconvenience she’d credit me 10% of the order …. It’s now Wednesday 6th and no delivery of the gate or brackets or lock and no communication from MD Carpentry ….

Waited weeks for these to be delivered. For them to confirm a date, so I’ve moved the contractor and then just had an email notification of a cancellation refund requested by the buyer which I did NOT. Terrible terrible company AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!

There were several issues we faced with this company, not least their poor customer service. When we called, it went to voicemail, but unable to leave a message as their voicemail box was always full. They delivered half the order on time, then had to chase the remainder. Was promised a percentage refund as a concession, but it never materialised. Done use this firm, they really are appalling.

The gates were delivered weeks late and they are nothing like the web site very shoddy workmanship
Do not buy the drive gates zero out of 10 from me

I ordered a gate nearly a month ago that I am yet to receive. I had no updates from them at all and had to chase them constantly. All they said was that they're experiencing delays and it is being processed. I phoned them today and was told that they would phone me back with an update. No phone call came and when I tried to call them, it went straight to an answer phone which told me there was no more room for messages. Absolutely terrible customer service, I would not recommend them at all.

just a heads up really.
the gates you order will not look like the glossy web site pictures.
my gate arrived put together with any bits and pieces that came to hand. i have no idea what other reviewers are talking about. the gate is terribly made, not symmetrical, gaps everywhere, pins coming through missed batten, gaps, screw holes and rough wood.
just be aware that the pictures are nothing like what you’ll receive.

Shocking experience from delivery to return. Ordered 3.6m x 1.8m driveway gates via B and Q. Terrible quality of wood, shoddy workmanship and nothing like images on site. Basically looked like fence panels with supports attached at back. Requested a return or substantial deduction of initial cost to be refunded. Customer service were curt, rude and didn’t care at all. Would not pick up so we had to return to B and Q. They were not impressed as do not normally accept large items back from 3rd party sellers. Also agreed gates were not good. End of the day not a good look for B and Q to sell sub standard products.
** Having read your reply to this review it is laughable how different your ‘tone’ is on this platform. There was certainly no apology in our exchange of messages following delivery. You were curt, verging on arrogant . I have no need to further contact you as we have had our refund thanks to B&Q.
