Awful is the only word I can use
Awful is the only word I can use to describe the customer service. Placed my order back in December and it never arrived I contacted candy coat by email and received a response and told to wait. I could see from the tracking that Royal Mail never received the items so I disputed that there was no point in waiting and to issue a refund. I was then ignored as the company closed for near enough 3 weeks once the business was back open my emails still went unanswered. I raised a dispute with my bank to receive my money bank and my bank have now told me today that candy coat have disputed back that I am lying! Good job I have proof from their original emails to me that the item was never received at royal and how they continued to ignore me after telling me to wait 4 weeks incase it does eventually arrive. My bank luckily gave me the refund but I wouldn’t waste your time ordering from this company not only do the ignore you but will make it hard to get your money back even if you raise a claim with your bank. It’s basically theft what they are doing how they can still be a business I don’t know.

Terrible customer service, no response after multiple emails, item missing from an order which took weeks to arrive, no communication and have now had to start a chargeback to get a refund. Avoid at all costs

My order took nearly 3 weeks to arrive and then disappoint my when it did eventually arrive the acid remover product had leaked its contents all over the package affecting not only the product itself but all gel varnishes inside. Resulting in sticky unusable varnish and a highly potent smelling parcel! Not good!
Product was literally wrapped in one layer of flimsy bubble wrap improperly packaged causing damage to all items. I’ve reached out several times and no response and all social media commenting turned off! I have now reported to my bank as this company is shocking

Never received my items as was supposedly “lost in the post” so never received anything and only refunded me part or my order. Ignoring my emails, i really don't know how these companies get away with it. Have a friend in trading standards so will be raising this with them…

Sadly like many others - never received my order. It was meant to be a gift. Another scammy tiktok shop just laundering money.
Unfriendly unprofessional
As a last resort I commented on their social media to which they deleted, messaged me to not comment on their socials in an unfriendly manner and disabled their comments. I’ve spent so much money at candy coat and been lenient. Customer service responded to my requests for a refund as I didn’t receive and item to only never refund me. I sent may emails, live chat messages with time to respond. They’re only okay if you have no problems. I won’t be ordering again.

Glad I didn't read reviews before purchasing! I ordered the Candy Stix gel polish pens, and they are absolutely fantastic, and delivered on time with no issues at all. It seems like a lot of other reviews are mainly about contacting and dealing with customer service if something has gone wrong, but for me it was all totally smooth and I love having gel nails again after a reaction to other HEMA polishes (these are HEMA free, and one coat!!)
Do not order
Ordered on Sunday 30th November and received an email on Tuesday 2nd December to say it’s been dispatched via Royal Mail 48 hour delivery. It didn’t arrive on Thursday but gave it til the weekend. Nothing arrived. Sent an email on Sunday 7th (which they still haven’t responded to) to ask if they could track the delivery on their end as the tracking number they gave me didn’t work. They have a “live chat” on their website which I tried to use but they took 2 days to respond and didn’t actually answer my question, just palmed me off and said they were busy with Black Friday orders that’s why there’s a delay… but my order was already dispatched so how can there be a delay?
I responded to ask them to track it and to this day still have not received a reply. I really wish I read all these reviews before ordering. The package finally arrived 12th December. The top coat is such bad quality and goes matte after my client washed her hands. Their website is full of fake AI images, all the models are AI, including their Instagram. It’s actually quite alarming.
They delete any negative comments on their social media of people asking where their orders are. I responded to another nail tech in their comment section and they deleted all of our comments and blocked me.
This whole company is absolutely disgusting, please avoid!!

I’ve ordered a few things with candy coat since 2024, I really like their top coats so I’ve always used them.
I’ve ended up using other brands overtime as it was always apparent they never seem to have stock.
The last couple of times I’ve ordered I’ve waited ages for delivery as well, in the past I have had to email to chase up a parcel when it is just taking far too long to dispatch/deliver.
This time around I ordered 3 things, 2 top coats and a black gel. I thought I had enough black gel to last but I didn’t, which is my own fault but I urgently needed the package. It took 8 days to receive the parcel and when it arrived I’d been sent the 2 top coats but not the black gel. I immediately emailed them asking for either a refund or a replacement as a matter of urgency. After a couple of days I could not sit and wait for a response and wait an additional 8 days or longer for delivery so I had to fork out more money to buy from elsewhere who offer faster delivery. I then had no response from my email so I resorted to leaving a comment on their social media, which they very quickly deleted but sent me a DM instead. They however did refund me off the back of that so and it only took 2 days so I can’t fault that part of the process. But unfortunately I will not be ordering again as I have now found elsewhere.

Ordered on black friday, understand that they may have recieved mamy orders but my order was supposed to have been shippee according to the email they sent me on the 1st dec. On the 8th dec. Royal mail are still waiting for it to be recieved and when i track my order with them it says processing.... so have they sent my order or not .
Tried to use the chat got a response which didnt actually answer my question, emailed them and still awaiting a response but based on current reviews who knows if i will.
If i dont recieve a reponse soon or my order will have to despute the payment with my credit card company.
Used to order with them loads back im 2020/21 and never had any issues dont know whats happened to their business to know be being treated like this

Update - I asked when my replacements would arrive, at which point I was asked again what products I required replacing. This is after they already said they would send them. I’ve now asked for a refund, and if they ignore me I will be taking it further - it’s theft at this point.
Wish I had read the reviews. Package arrived quickly, but two items were broken. I sent them pictures and they eventually said they would replace them. Then a week later I asked if they had sent them, and if not could I have a refund. Nothing. Fairly sure I’m going to be out of pocket. The gels look very plasticky when applied too, don’t rate them.
Awful service
Ordered some items from the sale and a couple of full price items. When I received the parcel, 2 items were missing. I emailed them to find out what was happening. I didn't receive a reply for 11 days, in which Nikki (customer support manager) said she was sorry and that she would send the missing items. This was 10th October 2025. It's now 8th November and still havent received them. I re-emailed on 27th October querying what was happening, and so far I've had no reply. Will not be buying again.

Had an order dispatched supposedly with royal mail48…. 7 days later still not here and “sender preparing item” on tracking, reached out to ask where on earth my order was, was told they were waiting for 1 item for my order…. Okay then why was it “dispatched”? Order randomly showed up another 7 days later, 1 product missing and happens to be the most expensive thing I ordered and the entire reason I ordered from the site! Customer service non existent and not answering emails
There are much better brands out there
The products aren't amazing - I've had two bottles of top coat from them, both of which arrived lumpy and with the brushes disintegrating and losing bristles. One of the top coats also arrived with the lid screwed on at an angle which may have contributed to it being lumpy inside as I don't think it was sealed properly. Their base coats are ok, although the second bottle of base coat i ordered is extremely thick and gloopy. The gel colours, with the exception of one black gel, don't apply well, are quite streaky and gloopy, unlike any other brand have used. My first order was contained three randomly selected colours and two bottles were the same colour which is obviously very disappointing. All in all, I've since found other brands for similar price points which are much nicer to work with and give nicer results.
Shameful service
Shameful service. The customer servs manager is a petulant child. Royal Mail confirm they recieved nothing to deliver. Its not their fault. It's not my fault. It's YOURS. The denile is comical.
The owner must be incapacitated to allow this for their business. I had to get a refund from the bank. I'll stick pins in my own eyes before purchasing from these cowboys again. I also said this last time but decided to give it another go, to my peril.
4/6 orders we have been unhappy with. Sets eg, should be named lucky dips. They bare no resemblance to what is shown. The bottles rarely match what is inside. This is truly the worst service I have ever experienced, in any industry/ sector. The questionable product quality is not worth the hassel of dealing with the customer service kid.

Great service! Ordered for a gift for my girlfriend, Was a bit sceptical at first due to the comments.
Order arrived a little later than anticipated, But this is due to high demand. I was reassured in an email and they turned up as promised! Everything I got is perfect!!

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS BRAND!!! Probably the worst customer service I’ve ever had. They were late sending my order out and when I received it, it wasn’t what was shown on the photo. Not only that when I asked for a return it took them a month to finally approve one after so much back annd fourth.
They ignored my emails for over a week when I asked for a return, I had no option but to take this public by commenting on thier instagram. then and ONLY THEN did I get a message straight away telling me to stop commenting. I then also got a reply from the customer service team sending me the return address. I never got an apology or offered paid postage even after all the mess.
Overall this has gone on for 2 months and I am still waiting for my money back.
