This review takes into account my interaction with the staff at Lister Horsfall over a 2 month period dealing with my Breitling watch (servicing and repairs) and from my first arrival at their amazing showroom (more the quality of showroom you would find in Mayfair, London rather than the small provincial town that is Halifax!), my experience has been nothing but superb. From using their very convenient private car park at the rear to the quality of the coffee, the relaxed and helpful way all the staff look after you and their proactive approach to dealing with any queries you may have, I have nothing but praise for all the LH team. Highly recommended and I will look forward to calling in again soon as it is always a pleasure.

I have been dealing with Danielle at the Halifax branch and I can honestly say she is breath of fresh air. I found Daniele to be friendly and professional, taking a genuine interest in me and my family. She was helpful from the word go, provided great information and kept me updated throughout my purchasing process. I would highly recommend her and lister horsfall to anyone looking to purchase a luxury watch or jewellery- I look forward to dealing with them again in the future. A very happy customer!

Amazing service at Lister Horsfall in Halifax. Arrived a little late but they still helped me source some Rolex endlinks and they also adjusted a watch bracelet (I forgot to ask the cost so looks like it was free - thank you!). The new showroom is stunning too. Genuinely took my breath away - it's huge!
Will definitely be purchasing watches here....let's see what Tudor have to offer next year!

Second purchase - totally unexpected.What a sales team !!
Visiting Ilkley on a sunny day, to our surprise we were spotted by Rosie and invited in for a coffee and a catch up. Gosh nothing changes, once inside we were greeted warmly like old friends by the team who recognised us . We were taken upstairs to the beautiful lounge area and pampered just as before catching up on past times with team members and what the future holds for all of us all.
Well, …. what can I say, we left an hour and a half later with a beautiful watch ,that I am absolutely delighted with. Once again a fantastic experience at Lister Horsfall…lovely to see you all :-)

Caroline and other staff members were absolutely fantastic at the halifax store. They helped me find my wedding ring of dreams after becoming disheartened and other jewelers. They were so helpful, friendly and made me feel really valued. Each time I was given a friendly greeting and welcoming smile. I genuinely could not reccommend them more! Wonderful staff, wonderful values and wonderful shop.

I recently needed to have my wedding ring resized and had the pleasure of dealing with Sheree. She was incredibly professional, welcoming, and made the whole process feel effortless.

While I was in the store, I also asked to try on a watch from their display, and the team was more than happy to accommodate. I initially left a deposit with plans to collect the watch when I picked up my ring, but after leaving, I changed my mind and returned to ask if I could take the watch home that day. Sheree was extremely understanding and happily made it happen.

It was great to chat to George and Leslie who both took the time to chat with me while Sheree was sizing the watch, which really added to the overall experience.

The full team at lister really do know how to make someone feel welcome and appreciated when coming into the store. A special shoutout to Jonathan who always makes my visits special and goes above and beyond to ensure all my needs are met. He is very knowledgeable and always give the best advise he possibly can when it comes to purchases of jewellery and especially the watches. No matter how you’re dressed, you’re treated like a valuable customer at Lister Horsfall. Since my first purchase in 2017 I have been a returning customer and will continue to do so with Jonathan’s help

I visited Lister Horsfall in Ilkley October 2023 not intending to, I was in walking boots and walking clothes, despite looking scruffy I was greeted by Matthew, he treated me with respect and showed me different Rolex watches despite my appearance, as such I registered my interest in a Rolex.
Fast forward 1 year and while on a walk in the same walking gear I called in to discuss my Rolex interest. I was again greeted warmly by Danielle, unfortunately during the last year they had had a change in systems so I wasn’t in the new one. However the watch I had requested was in the window and for sale, what are the chances? I paid a deposit to secure it, Danielle said her store is Halifax but should I want her there on the day I collected the watch she would be there, she was true to her word and came over on the day I collected the watch, I was greeted as a friend, she is so kind and warm, George was also there that day and so we chatted to him as he brought our coffee, what a great team. It truly was a great experience.

I recently visited Lister Horsfall in Halifax to purchase a Rolex for my dad's 60th birthday, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. Danielle provided outstanding service that was both candid and honest, which is something I truly appreciated. From the moment I walked in, she took the time to understand my criteria, and it was clear that her extensive years of experience and expertise were at the heart of the service she provides. Her deep understanding of watches and keen attention to detail made it an easy choice. Highly recommend!

I went to see George through a referral from my business colleague. I was looking for an engagement ring and had no idea where to start apart from a couple of pictures. George was fantastic in guiding me through the various options and explaining the different styles of ring and cut of diamond. Although I paid a little more than I expected, I feel like I got good value for money, excellent service and the ring itself looks amazing. I am really happy that I chose Lister Horsfall and George! I would highly recommend!

As a long term customer with Lister Horsfall going back to my first Rolex purchase in 2013, I had no hesitation asking Sheree to help source a necklace for my daughter’s special birthday. The choice was exemplary and the whole team at LH Ilkley made collection such a special experience for her, including bubbles and flowers. Service, a good understanding of the customer’s taste, and attention to detail, I highly recommend Lister Horsfall for any jewellery needs. I look forward to my next visit, with my wife.

I arrived at the Halifax store with one of my beloved watches … Omega Seamaster … it’s been a firm favourite for over 25 yrs.

Despite the fact that I’d not bought the watch from L/Horsfall nor set foot in their store before, I was greeted by friendly & knowledgeable staff, who solved the issue with the damaged strap within one hour AND without any charge.

Superb service, the like of which one seldom sees these days.

I first used listers many years ago,I was recently looking in the window and I spotted a stunning ring, the staff are very friendly and helpful, I've dealt with junaid and silas,but mostly silas, he's been extremely helpful in redesigning an old ring that I never wore and turning it into a stunning pendant, so I've not only got a new ring but I've ended up with a stunning new pendant made to silas,s design out of a ring that was never worn, any staff that I've dealt with are always lovely, friendly and efficient, we are always made welcome,it's lovely to go in for a chat and a drink.

What an amazing Company Lister Horsfall are. The first contact was by telephone and we were asked to visit the showroom to chat about our needs. Junaid the salesman was extremely knowledgeable about the products and was kind and helpful with regards to our needs. Everyone in the store treat us with respect and kindness. We were offered drinks and advice. Would highly recommend visiting and buying from them. Thanks again for all your advice and help

We went into lister Horsfall Halifax branch on Saturday , I was treating myself to a piece of jewellery for my special birthday and my husband also had bought me a ring as a surprise. We were looked after by Natalie who helped my husband with the surprise, again Natalie looked after us exceptionally she always makes us feel special and takes great care of us . I would like to also thank all of lister Horsfall staff and management for the beautiful bouquet of flowers and champagne that they gave me for my birthday , that was a lovely gesture and I am very grateful . I cannot recommend this company enough , if you are looking for a watch or any sort of jewellery they always go above and beyond to try and help you with your purchase, we will not go anywhere else and look forward to seeing you again soon , kind regards Donna and Steve
