We signed to Lawcomm via our estate agents when selling. We had one aborted sale right at the last minute and finally sold on the 2nd time. Natalie Chan was really professional, quick to respond and effective in her communication in spite of the other parties being pushy picky and difficult (our opinion). Given we only paid the one fee for effectively 2 sales and had a great conveyancer we would certainly use them again.

Shirley took over a complex house sale for us, guided us through the conveyancing and addressed things promptly and reliably. Very pleased with the service that Shirley provided, would highly recommend!

My conveyancer, Pavan, did a great job on mine and my partner's first house. We experienced some delays on the Seller's side due to certain factors, but he remained professional and supportive, and we managed to exchange and complete for before the new SDLT deadline. Throughtout the process, he went above and beyond to make sure everything was correct and ensure processes were up to date, and chase where and when is necessary. Even when he was on leave while we're due to exchange, he prepared everything beforehand and our exchange went smoothly (thanks to Shirley also!).
I would recommend him and Lawcomm for conveyancing.

Lawcomm Solicitors has demonstrated a shocking disregard for professional ethics, transparency, and basic client care. After engaging them for a property purchase, I was misled about a supposed conflict of interest, only for them to change their reasoning when I provided proof that no such conflict existed. Worse still, after previously raising a legitimate data protection concern and a formal complaint about poor service, I have now been effectively blacklisted from obtaining legal representation—an act that appears to be blatant victimisation. A staff member, James Clarke, even went as far as informing my estate agent that “under no circumstances” would Lawcomm act for me, despite my ongoing engagement with them. This level of arbitrary decision-making, refusal to address complaints, and misleading conduct is a serious breach of the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) Code of Conduct. Solicitors should never lie to clients, nor should they retaliate against those who hold them accountable. If this is how they treat someone who challenges their poor service, it raises serious concerns about their integrity and suitability as a law firm. If you value honesty, professionalism, and ethical legal representation, avoid Lawcomm Solicitors at all costs.

My initial conveyancing solicitor was dreadful and had no empathy that I was buying a house from overseas. I desperately needed to change my solicitor and by good luck found LawComm. By even more good luck, Natalie Chan was assigned to be my solicitor and she made my experience wonderful. Why can’t other conveyancing solicitors be like her? Helpful, understanding and professional. LawComm provides great professional legal service.

Zahrah Amin was excellent for my house purchase. The company itself has a portal so its very transparent what stage i am at and what the next actions are. If i needed an update, Zahrah responded very quickly, id guess in less than an hour. Would 100% work with again.

I was given Vaishnavi Komandur as my conveyancer who kept me updated in every respect. She worked very hard and fast to get this over the line for the purchase of my Flat. It took a little longer than we estimated but that was down to the other side coining up with last minute questions. I would use them again and have passed on her good name to others.

Natalie at Lawcomm was a fantastic conveyance solicitor for our flat sale. I felt I could ask her any questions I had and she very much fought our corner when the other side got tricky to deal with. We were very grateful to have her expertise and efficiency.

Second time I used Lawcomm, first time was buying my first property second time was selling and buying our new home.

It came to light that Lawcomm failed to advise me on the Building Safety Act 2022 when buying my first property which was raised during the sale. We had Duncan Horton dealing with our case and it was 6 months of stress and lack of updates we had to deal with. Duncan was rude, aggressive over email and did not manage the case well at all. The lack of updates meant our buyer and vendor were contacting us directly, they also all said their experience and dealings with Duncan were the worst they have ever dealt with.

Duncan rarely addressed anyone via email and on the rare occasion that he did, he would get my name completely wrong (Michelle, Mitchelle lol) - very unprofessional.

Avoid Lawcomm at all costs, their fees a low for a reason and they also add fees onto their completion statement with no justification.

A formal complaint has been lodged with Lawcomm and The Legal Ombudsman.
