I booked an MOT at Hounslow on line, which was so easy as I could reserve my best time: The payment was easy. I was greeted by a very friendly team and the MOT was completed effectively.

I took out a policy with them, and after it had already started, they contacted me about a week later requesting a large amount of additional documentation. They wanted copies of my driving licence, proof of my no-claims bonus, written consent, proof of my profession, proof of my address with two bills or bank statements, and evidence of a clean driving record. They also stated that if I didn't provide all of this, they would cancel my policy.

I decided I didn't want to continue under those terms, as I've never experienced an insurer asking for so much documentation after a policy had already been set up. I was then told they would deduct a £30 administration fee from my refund. However, I never received any partial refund at all. Instead, they kept my entire deposit.

Based on my experience, it feels like they make money from situations like this rather than treating customers fairly. I certainly wouldn't trust them again, and I would recommend looking elsewhere for your insurance.

I had an issue with a stone stuck in the brake calipers making an awful noise, dropped the car off without any issues and on collection there was no charge at all.
as always with Lancaster service with a smile too!

Kwik-fit came to my house to replace my tyres, Bradley was absolutely fantastic, so fast - got the work done in half the time. I got a good deal on the tyres and was amazed at how seamless the ordering process was. Well done!

Had a fleet vehicle in to have 2 tyres replaced, was told it would be 2 hours, 2 hours later the QwikFit team are still to have carried out the work as the internal qwikfit team haven’t approved the works internally although I can see the works has been approved my end. The technicians said it could take upto 2 hours for the approval. According to the garage, 700 qwikfit garages and a team of 5 who approve the works. When I arrived at 12 for my pre booked appointment, the gentleman overheard the conversation and had been waiting since 9 with the same problem! Then tried ringing QwikFit customer support over 18 minutes on hold before I gave up. They don’t care about customer support or service. I will speak to my fleet department and ask to use a different company as the customer service is APPALLING.

Ordered a tyre online, sat for an hour and half after my appointment time, before being told wrong tyres had been delivered so would have to come back the next day when they woukd hopefully have the right tyre

Was a good experience. And good prices. I do prefer mobile at home. And good staff. Aswell. Will be using this service. Again. On my fleet of cars

Tyres were available, fitting at home, needed Tyron bands (which other companies would not touch), booking process should have been easy and prices were competitive.
Unfortunately due to issues with equipment on their van the appt had to be rescheduled and the fitter turned up approx 2 hours before time. Attempts to contact me were hindered due to the problem of mobile coverage in my area.

Came to my house and had all 4 tyres on just over an hour later.
Very very happy with my car wheels now thanks so much.

This is in relation to the Kendal location. The staff were good and efficient, if a little bit impersonal, and the work was carried out to a good standard. The downside? The terrible location! Previously (past 18 months or so) the Mot/tyre centre was on a road that did, at least, have a shallow frontage onto which cars cull pull. The present location has a frontage directly onto a busy 3 lane road. The premises are narrow with a one-way flow of vehicles and arriving new customers will have to queue in the middle of the road waiting for access or park across the footway. Surely there was a unit somewhere that gave greater access and parking. There are industrial units in Kendal that would have served this purpose.

My wife and I had to visit your Bicester branch this afternoon as our car needed a new battery. We are both retired and I have mobility issue and so my wife is the driver. I am pleased to say that we were treated with courtesy at all times and were able to rest in your waiting room. Although extremely busy they were able to supply the new battery within an hour which is remarkable. The whole process was good and the friendly staff should be proud of this Branch.

This is about Skipton branch. Went in last Friday for a headlight bulb guy told me my lights were an aftermarket sealed unit and you had to replace the whole unit, and I'd have to get them on eBay and they couldn't fit them, went away confused. Thought about it over the weekend did some investigations and they were genuine land rover lights, so I went back, eventually the manager came through to give an old lady her keys and to tell her they couldn't help her, she tried to get help but he was aggressively unhelpful and uncaring of this old lady's car problems and she clearly was aware of his attitude as she just resigned herself to going somewhere else and left. I explained what happened on Friday and begrudgingly he came out to see, this time I insisted on lifting the bonnet,he couldn't be bothered, made a perfunctory attempt to twist the hatch at the back where the bulb goes in and claimed it didn't come off, was condisending and rude told me it was a sealed unit, told me I needed a land rover specialist and there was nothing he could do and walked off after all of two minutes. I stopped by my regular garage, it took him two minutes to get the bulb hatch off and identify the bulbs inside. This guy had a real attitude problem and didn't care to cover it up with the old lady or me I wonder why almost As if he was happy to turn down custom. As a family we've always gone to Kwik fit always been relaxed and the staff helpful, the atmosphere has really changed I won't be going back.
