I would never order from them again

I would never order from them again. Ordered 28th August and after several e mails and Covid being used as an excuse, I asked for refund and cancellation after nearly one month. Got a response several days later apologising that two of the four items were out of stock??? They offer free postage and discounts on next order… Do they really think I’d order again!!!

Rating of one star is one star too much

This rating of one star is one star too many!! I wish I had read all these comments before ordering some jeans online!!! Order date 22nd August and no response. I have asked for a refund as they clearly can not provide the service I've paid for, surprise, no response just the automated dribble that everyone seems to be getting. Fair trading will be my next contact.

Ordered 30.8, still nothing, just feeble auto emails. Same with Rivers, no communication at all. Never again. Something is very wrong with this group.

I will never order from these guys…

I will never order from these guys again. I ordered in May and had to contact them continually via email and phone to ask what was happening with my order. I eventually got parts of my order 2 months later and then have been told today that one of the items is sold out after it is available online. Have been given free shipping order as compensation but I will not order from these guys again. I understand Covid has been a bit issue with these companies and the amount of orders they get but communication is the key if they informed customers then we would be more understanding. Will not engage with the group of shops again. Really disappointing.

Stay away from their online store

I bought 4 items in early June. Still waiting. I sent many emails with either auto response or "we sorry". Only when I told them I'd lodged a "Fair Trading" complaint did i get a notification saying my good were on their way, well and truly too late for winter.

Waste of time

This used to be a organised and efficient store to order clothes from a few years ago. However my last two orders have been dismal. After an 8 week wait, one was cancelled. Did it seriously take 8 weeks to realise items were suddenly unavailable. After a year I foolishly took another risk. This time it took 6 weeks for items to finally appear despite numerous emails that were pretty much ignored (yes, yes you're in a queue kind of response).
When half my items were missing and I received the same useless, generic response I went to PayPal who opened a case. Katie's did not respond (too difficult) so I received an refund this way. Total farce and like the other many reviewers never again.

useless customer service

Customer service and online chat is hopeless.
I asked questions but need to wait for customer service to contact me via email and never heard back from them anyway. Also the voucher they have advertised or provided never work with online shopping.

Reading these reviews and realising…

Reading these reviews and realising there is a common theme here, don’t buy from Katie’s online. I ordered a few items on the 14th July and have not received an notification to say my items are coming. I have sent several emails and no response. I ordered a few items from femme connection and received them within 2 days! There is absolutely no excuse for this Katie’s, you should have systems in place to fulfil orders or you shouldn’t be operating. I have been a loyal customer for many years and this is worse customer service I have received. I won’t be ordering again. I think we should all go to fair trading

Ordered 2 items on 29 June, failed to deliver 1 item

Ordered 2 items on 29 June, 1 received within the stated delivery time but still no second item. Have chased at least 5 times but just keep being told they are busy. Clearly the item is not in stock and they do not have it. Requested they either confirm a delivery date or refund and nothing. Terrible service, will never order again.

They lost my order and then my item was sold out

I had to chase them up for my order , then when they found it the item I wanted most was sold out , I wouldn’t of made the order if I knew I wasn’t going to receive that item. They then had the cheek to offer me free postage on my next order but I wasn’t allowed to use it for sale items and I had to use it in 2 weeks , how rude !!!

I visited Katie’s Keperra. Was in the store with the assistant behind the counter. She did not ask if I needed assistance, she looked at me and put her head down and as I neared the counter then she walked to the staff/store room. I was in the store for 10 minutes. 3 more ladies entered the store and they too were left to their own devices. I sat directly outside the store and watched for a further 10 minutes mainly to see if they were approached. The assistant stood behind the counter drinking her Pepsi. Not once did she attempt to offer assistance. All 4 of us left the store without any contact of any kind from the assistant. Still sitting outside to see a further shopper enter the store….same treatment. This single shopper left to then return….same treatment again. The assistant did not walk from behind the counter at any time except to go to the staff/store room. As an employer myself, I would find this behaviour and/or attitude unacceptable. I close my review and the time is 2pm. I have been in or at the front of the store for over 30 minutes.

Worst experience ever, placed my order over 5 weeks ago and I received one top, contacted customer service who said that my order had been shipped took a photo of what I received only for them to say oh the rest of your order is still with the warehouse that was 2 weeks ago.
If you contact customer service they never get back to you.
I have ordered a few times with them and each time the experience get worse and worse , I mean I’m still chasing up an order that I did in Dec 2020 that I still haven’t received and customer service team just give me the run around.
I’m surprised they are still in business running it this way, funny thing is if they sent me my order and it wasn’t paid they will be chasing me for my money.
I order lots of thing online and they all seem to get her I even ordered something from China and that got here in 3 weeks how can something within Melbourne take more then 5 weeks to reach someone if I was you I would empty you cart and find the clothing somewhere else
And never click on there website again.

I am still waiting on my order from Mid May and my order was worth $126
They have stopped replying to my emails and have not processed a refund for me either.
They have not even sent part of my order.
Such a scam.
I am over this. So annoying. I just want my money back now.
I will be logging this with fair trading now as this is not the first time I have had major issues with them

Do not use this company

Do not use this company, they do not know what they are doing. I ordered an item in February 2021 that I have still not received and am an now in resolution with Paypal over a refund. They consistently email to say they are having difficulties getting hold of their warehouse (third party supplier) and to be patient. It's now June and I am no closer than I was when I first made the order. Please steer clear.

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

Sadly, my problem with Katies seems to be a common one. You place an order, and EVENTUALLY !!! part of the order turns up. No explanation about missing items, it is up to you to try and find someone who has an explanation as to why only part if the order is there, and it usually is, "sold out of items ordered"Could this be because it takes weeks for the company to fill the order. Really poor effort from Katies, and very frustrating to be told the same thing with each order. I have given up on this company.

I wish i could give a negative rating

I wish i could give a negative rating! 3 weeks after online purchase, yes they took my money, my items have still not been prepared or sent. I have rung and emailed , I am yet to speak to the same person twice! I keep getting told different time frames. I recieved a parcel from Melbourne from a different company which arrived in 1 week from purchase, so poor Australia post can not be blamed! I am very frustrated. Think twice not worth it!

DO NOT ORDER FROM KATIES. I am still waiting on an order from last October 2020. They sent one item from the 5x I ordered, and that item was incorrect. They keep saying that they sent my items with that one incorrect order, so I had to take pictures of the courier bag that clearly stated 1 QTY item received. They have been sending me emails since November last year, making excuses then asked me last couple of weeks if I still wanted the 4x items that were not delivered. I replied yes, of course. Then today they email me to advise that they sent it with the incorrect 1x item sent last November. I resent the picture of the Courier bag etc and the emails showing that there was only 1x item in the courier bag and not 5x items. DON'T ORDER FROM KATIES! THEIR SERVICE IS TERRIBLE! I as still waiting for my money back.

NOT HAPPY

I have been buying from from Katies stores for many many years always been happy but now I shop online DO NOT BUY ONLINE !!!! the stress it causes me is not worth it when my order does arrive there is always something missing I have been waiting for weeks for 2 orders also called Katies and who I speak to is in another country and they just have been trained to fog you off !!! I have always loved Katies but NO LONGER 😪

NEVER AGAIN WILL I ORDER FROM KATIES

I Would give no stars if I could. Don’t order from Katie’s online. They lie on their shipping page when they state that ‘orders WILL be dispatched within 48hours’. After 15 days, I have just been notified that PART of my order is due to be dispatched (in 3 days) - after 15 days!!!! From reading other reviews I realise much of my ordeal is still ahead, being yet to receive anything I ordered from Katie’s. This was my first online order from them and is definitely my last. The response from Katie’s is appalling. The experience has been so bad that I don’t even want to shop instore from Katie’s anymore. One star is too many,

Bad customer care experience..

I can see why the many bad reviews are here. I honestly would not have thought I would have a bad experience with Katie’s online. I purchased a bedding comforter set online on the 28/1/2021. After submitting the order I realised I made an error on the address, after ringing them within 24 hours to get it fixed before dispatch they said it’s in the hands of their third party supplier. Most companies fix it up as long as you let them know within 24 hours or they resolve it somehow. They of course dispatched it anyways causing it to return to sender (back to the third party supplier). After ringing them again to tell them it got returned to sender, the customer service person said they can provide a credit refund to do a new order or have them reship the item to the correct address. Mind you each communication by email we had was a gap of 2 weeks before i got a reply. Calling them was useless as customer service is offshore and can’t do anything but “escalate your request “. Cutting the story short I’m still waiting for a refund for almost a month. We have been emailing back and forth and they emailed back saying it got delivered to me on the 8/2 (which was when it got delivered back to the sender their third party supplier) and I should check the tracking and take it up with Australia Post as item not delivered then get back to them.
By the way their third party supplier is Kingtex who never responded either. Katie’s should stick to selling clothes not other people’s stuff if they don’t know how to effectively communicate with their other brand supplier. They keep emailing me back telling me to wait another 5 days as their brand supplier hasn’t responded. Katie’s has the responsibility to supply the refund as we purchased it from their website and work it out with their supplier internally.Total ride off, it’s not the money , it’s the bad experience i had and they still haven’t resolved it.
