The earrings my husband purchased for me were not at all the size displayed on the ads. They’re baby earrings. They cost almost $300 and look awful, barely visible. I tried returning them but my husband gave them to me a month later for my bday and you only get a month to get a refund. And their website has a section to write reviews, but oddly (or intentionally) it is blocked from accepting customer reviews. It’s a shame. We’ll take our business elsewhere and re-gift the earrings to a child in the family.

Great customer service
My son's chain had broke, brought it in and because I had service plan, no questions asked, they got me all set up and fixed. Fonda, my sales consultant was fantastic

Several years ago now I purchased a diamond necklace for my girlfriend for Xmas from Jared's.
They were adamant about setting up an account for me despite me having the money on me to pay for the necklace. That should've been my first hint to not let them put the jewelry on credit...
After xmas comes around I've got 5 $100 Visa credit cards. So when I get the bill I call them & the store refuses to take them as payment. I call the main Jared's number & they also refuse to take them at payment. Fast forward I get a call from their from Collections Dept. They state they've ALWAYS taken these as payments & will take them at payment now over the phone. I pay the FULL price off with these cards.
A year later I start getting these bills from them saying that I still owe 50% of the cost of the necklace. The THIEF working for Jared's applied enough of my gift card balance to the necklace & STOLE the other half of the remaining money! Whoever it was knew it would buy them time before anybody might come looking around.
Then there's me thinking it's all paid off. I didn't save those cards to have on hand a year later with no money on them to spend!
Jared's put this on my credit & despite me explaining this all to them THEY STILL refuse to remove it from my credit score.
Well it's 7 years this March & I haven't paid them 50% extra for their necklace & I'd advise you to avoid doing business with this place. They give NO CARE to screwing up your credit for 7 years. They've got thieves working in their Receivables & Collections Depts. I WOULDN'T trust to giving them my credit card info or ANYTHING! They'll be selling it to the black market IN A HEARTBEAT!
Do not order a ring online
I am writing this review so others will not be miss lead. Never trust Jared to be honor there policy. Do not purchase a ring online . I purchase a ring for my son, however, I did not know the ring size. Before I made the purchase I called the Jared location in Plano and was told buy the insurance so you can come in and size it. I had to select a size to put the order in. My son and I went into store and it was a waste of time . I was told they we do not handle online orders. To make a long story short. I will have to get the ring in the incorrect size send it back and start over. While I was there the customer service person who work there had me call the online order line after about 35mins of holding on the phone someone answered. She said I will send in the request to make the change in the sizing for you. I get home and I received an email stating it can not be changed. I will have to go back and have it resized. What a mess.
Fat red head sucks at her job
The red head, heavy set woman at the tri County location was less than helpful. All I needed was resizing and clean. She was argumentative over the sizing. I had to take my ring from her and get help from someone else.
Jeremy was able to assist me without issue or attitude.
I am unsure if we are ever going to purchase any more jewelry from Jared in the future. You deserve friendly service, especially over a $20,000+ ring.
Liars
I decided to try their website for some diamond earrings. This was to be a Christmas Present. I found a decent deal and the delivery date was before Christmas so i made the purchase. The next day i saw the confirmation in my email and when i opened it it said delivery 20 Jan, over a month away. So i went on customer service and asked them to verify the Jan date, which they did. So i said it was Dec 23rd when i bought them and i got the "sorry for any inconvenience" line. I told them id like to cancel the order seeing as it was supposed to be a christmas present and they told me I only had 60 minutes after ordering to cancel. I told them they bait and switched me. then they ran me up to a higher customer service girl who told me that if i was not happy my only recourse was to send the earrings back once i received them for a refund. I told them that i was on their site as we speak and they are STILL advertising 23rd delivery. I told them with a month to go before my expected delivery date the earrings clearly are not in transit, how can the order not be cancelled. I told them if they were out of stock they should have told me and not taken my money. They replied that they are in stock and sorry for any inconvenience. So now, 4 days from Christmas I need to spend another wad of money to cover for their lies, then wait until the end of Jan and hope they process their refunds quickly. Absolute joke shop of a company. Horrible customer service, false advertising, bunch of thieves. I only gave them one star on this review because i wasnt allowed to give them no stars. Do yourselves a favor and use Blue Nile, so much better organized.
DO NOT ORDER FROM JARED JEWELERS
Will never order from Jared Jewelry again. Ordered a $35.00 item and returned as decided wanted larger size. Ordered $300.00 items ( 2 pairs of hoop earrings) in place of. Clearly states free refund on website if you follow instructions. Took to UPS. did as Jared asked and was charged a total of $15.37 to return a $35 item. Was not refunded any of the shipping. After numerous calls of being out on hold was told we must not have followed instructions or it was UPS fault and we should call them.

My husband attempted to buy me something from Jared from this Christmas. Their website said they had the item. And would be able to ship it by Christmas day. Two days later he received a email saying the order was canceled with no explanation. Their website said it'd take up to 7 days to get a refund. At the time he received the email the money in his account had been locked up for this expensive gift. Two more days passes by Jared took the money out of his account for this canceled order. He sat on the phone with them. Talked to five different ppl to try to get his money back. One person told him that there was a duplicate order and they would of charged him again had he not called them. Another person told him that he should budget his money better. Then they told him to not expect his money back until January 2nd 2022. I'm writing this review Dec 17th 2021. Don't buy anything from these ppl. Please spread the word!! PS. He never did find out why his order was canceled

I would give a no star rating but that is not available. Because of Covid when everything was on lockdown they will not warranty my ring. They did a rhodium dip on 2 other rings that I own but because of covid and not being able to have rings checked they will not help me replacement of the diamond. I have had diamonds replaced before covid with the lifetime warranty through the Gurnee store. Lesson learned, do not buy from here. Lifetime warranty means nothing, to replace diamonds more than once proves they are not great diamonds. As for rhodium dip, I'll take my business elsewhere and buy platinum. Buyer beware of this sneaky establishment.

I’d give zero stars if possible. I ignored all these bad reviews and highly regret it. I ordered a ring to propose to my gf and I used a friends card to make the purchase. His billing address was in Wisconsin but I put the shipping to Florida and it still had his name. They’re claiming they cancelled it the first time because the names didn’t match. Which made some sense but then I called to clarify that if I put his name on both it would go thru and they said yes. Tried to make the purchase again after waiting for my refund and they did the same exact thing. Cancelled my order and now I have to wait for my refund AGAIN. Do not shop with Jared I promise you will regret it.

Wish I could give negative stars I would. One star is way too generous. We bought a wedding ring enhancer for our 10 year anniversary from Jared in Chesterfield, MO and ordered a custom one to match from the same location for our 20 year, since the style was no longer available. Had to pay in full up front. It has been a series of screw ups, excuses, incompetence and out right lies from the first step. 10 weeks later and multiple missed deadlines with no follow up at the store level and still no ring or any idea if and when it will ever be completed. The associates are unconcerned and lazy and will only investigate after being pushed. No apologies, no nothing. We will never buy a thing from this store again, ever. What was supposed to be a sweet anniversary gift has turned into the most stressful and unpleasant experience ever.

Gave my wedding set to wrong person
We dropped my wedding set off on Saturday, September 11th at the SLC, Utah location for a cleaning and to have it re-sized. We received a call the following week saying a couple of the diamonds were chipped and I thought that was weird because I’m not hard on my jewelry. However, they said they would fix it and agreed to have it ready for us by Friday as we wanted to pick it up on our way out of town. Upon picking it up, the lady said the numbers on the ring didn’t match, but that doesn’t always mean something. While she was looking at her computer further, I picked up the ring and told her that is not my ring. Jared Jewelry put the wrong ring in the bags and gave my ring to someone else who had picked up earlier that day. Jared Jewelry said they “misplaced” my ring and asked if we would give them an hour to locate it. I found it really odd for them to give me a specific time frame when they supposedly have no clue where my ring was at. I asked if it’s possible they gave my ring to the wrong person, which is exactly what happened. I can not believe a jewelry store would be SO CARELESS. Nobody in the store seemed to care that someone gave my ring to the wrong person. The lady who was assisting us was the same lady who we’d gave my ring to when we dropped it off. I definitely do not trust her, the store, or Jared Jewelry. The reps name was Sabrillya Cowan and she works at the location on 5928 S State St in Salt Lake City, Utah. She said Jared will do something to “cushion their mistake” and that they take this very seriously and we should wait to hear from the general manager. It has now been a week and a half and we have not heard anything from the GM. We did get my wedding set back as the people who took it brought it back to the store. This wasted our day, made us late for our vacation and caused a lot of un-needed stress and made Jared Jewelry look beyond incompetent.
