We were disgusted by the service…

We were disgusted by the service provided by iPark limited. When we arrived at Gatwick we waited over two hours late at night for the car to be picked up, with the iPark telephone operator telling us lies about delivery times, and being extremely rude when we tried to complain about their dreadful service.
We had the same experience on our return, waiting over an hour, being met by rudeness and lies by the telephone operator. We saw other customers there, and all had the same terrible experience, as have those who have reviewed the company on Trustpilot.
Their website claims a 25-30 minute wait for pick up and drop off, their operator told us they work to a one hour target - so why tell us 25/30 minutes?
Finally, on pick up they left our car key on a tyre and disappeared- a clear security risk, we are lucky our car wasn’t stolen.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS – 100+ MILES ADDED TO OUR CAR

Genuinely the worst parking experience we have ever had. I would strongly advise anyone considering this company to stay well away.

We waited an hour for our car to be collected by a rude man with no ID, lanyard or proof he even worked for the company. He wouldn’t tell us where our car was being taken and we were then forced to pay an £8 charge despite our booking stating the parking levy was included.

While we were away, we received a notification from the Mercedes app that our car’s location services had been disabled from inside the vehicle. When we returned, we discovered that OVER 100 UNEXPLAINED MILES had been added to our car.

Even more concerning, we had left the back seats folded down, but they had been put back up while the car was in their possession. Combined with the additional mileage and disabled location tracking, this has left us seriously concerned about what our car was being used for while we were away.

The return was just as appalling. Our car was left in Gatwick short stay with NO ATTENDANT AND NO KEY. We were repeatedly told the key would arrive in “15 minutes” but waited OVER TWO HOURS.

Because they had our key, we literally could not leave. We then had to pay another £21.50 in parking charges caused entirely by their delay.

When we complained, the man on the phone was rude and intimidating, effectively telling us “what are you going to do about it?” and that we couldn’t go anywhere without our key, so we would just have to wait.

We have kept all evidence, including screenshots from the Mercedes app, mileage records, receipts, call logs and booking documents, and have now made a formal complaint.

AVOID. I would never trust this company with my car again.

AVOID AVOID AVOID - SCAM!!!

I booked and paid for a meet-and-greet airport valet service on the basis that a uniformed representative would meet me at the agreed time. I followed their instructions precisely, including calling 30 minutes before my arrival.

Despite this, the representative arrived over 30 minutes late. When he eventually arrived, he was not in uniform, displayed no identification, and was unable or unwilling to provide ID when I requested it. As someone about to hand over a valuable vehicle and its keys, I found this completely unacceptable.

I was then informed that I would have to pay an additional exit fee that I do not believe had been clearly disclosed when I made the booking. The amount quoted also appeared inconsistent.

Given the delay, the lack of identification, and the unexpected additional charge, I no longer had any confidence that I was dealing with the professional service that had been advertised. I therefore made the difficult decision not to hand over my vehicle and instead paid £132 for airport short-stay parking to ensure I didn't miss my flight.

I subsequently complained to the company, supplied the evidence they requested, including proof of my additional parking costs, and asked for a refund. Rather than addressing the substance of my complaint, they simply stated that because I did not use the service, they would not refund me. They failed to engage with the real issue: I declined the service because it was not being provided in the manner advertised or in a way that gave me confidence to entrust them with my car.

For a business whose entire model depends on customers handing over their vehicle and keys, professionalism, punctuality, transparency, and clear identification are fundamental, not optional.

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend iParking Limited. There are many airport parking providers available, and I would strongly encourage anyone considering this company to read the reviews carefully and think twice before booking.

Do not use them!

Do not use them!

Landed at 11:30 last night. Called at 11:50, told the car will be with me soon.....they didn't drop the car until 1:35, more than 1 hour and 30 minutes later. I called twice and eac time was told the car was on its way.

No explanation, no apology. I'm a 55 years old female and was on my own, waiting alone in a deserted car park.

No need to say I am not impressed! They are absolutely dreadful. Don't fall for the cheaper price.

When booked was advertised as Executive…

When booked was advertised as Executive parking Gatwick with five star reviews turned out to be Ipark. Totally unprofessional, rude long wait for car on return - was given a ticket to to leave airport having been told by the driver that all was paid - unfortunately not when we got to the barrier. Also had to pay fee when leaving the car even though confirmation said included all fees! Several people at airport in same boat and worse for others dropping off worried about missing their flights as no-one there to collect their vehicles. Spoke to Gatwick on exit and they said this happens all the time with fees not paid etc with this operator I wonder why Gatwick Airport allows this company to trade there as it appears they are rogue operators !

1 hour wait and charged for car park

I had to wait 1 hour for my car and even though my email confirmed that the car park fee was included, the driver refused to pay and run off. I called the number provided and I just kept being told the car was on the way and when I told them i was left to pay the fee, he denied this dispite the email confirming this was included.

Unprofessional, shoddy and criminal

Unbelievable. Absolutely criminal organisation. Reading some of the other reviews we got off lightly but they were still unprofessional, uncontactable and we waited 45 minutes for our "meet and greet". We also had to pay the exit fee from the short stay car park both on arrival and departure which made it in total more expensive than many better companies. Taking it to trading standards now as they deserve to be shut down.

Dreadful experience- unprofessional…

Dreadful experience- unprofessional outfit, complete cowboys. All you get is lies when you ring them. We had a 3 hour wait as they lost our car keys, didn’t know where my car was. Had to ring police as it didn’t appear that they had my car. After telling them we were ringing the police the car keys were found but still took another hour of ringing them for the car to be delivered. Just dumped it in a different level to that arranged, left the key on the wheel and parking ticket on dashboard. Rude and unsympathetic.
It seems to be that you can no longer book with them on parking sites or their website but I worry that they will just continue doing what they are doing under a different name. Can’t believe comparison parking sites were using them. BEWARE.

Since writing this review I have received a £100 parking charge for my car at 16:32 when I was already abroad. They drove my car without my permission back to the south terminal car park and went over the 30 min paid for). Also I was told that it had been parked 1 mile away whilst I was abroad yet it had done 22 miles - I don’t therefore know how many times they used it to go to and from the airport. I’m assuming 10 extra trips. I’m fuming 😡

Shambles of a company

Booked a 'premium' package for Gatwick north, had to ring 15 times on the way before they answered the phone, got told that I had to go to a different car park. The guy then turned up 20 mins late. On return, had to call another 10 times before they answered, had to wait over an hour for my car and pay the 'drop off fee.

Made a complaint, was promised a refund and since then (a few weeks ago) I've have heard nothing despite co tacting them multipme times.
Absolute shambles of a service that I wouldn't recommend to anyone.

They charge additional parking fees at drop-off and collection which are meant to be included in the price, are extremely dismissive, don't answer calls and are rude. Surprised their business is still operating with 276 awful reviews.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! The car was returned full of mud & dirty! They racked up 30 miles in our car! We were told car was kept in a gated compound 2 miles away which was clearly a lie! The number we were given to call to collect car at 2am was not answered!!!! We called over 50 times & it just said Gif Gaf mailbox full! Another family who waited 3 hrs to get their car back gave us another mobile which we finally got a response! Terrible experience! This company also use compareairportparkings.co.uk and Iparkgatwick.co.uk DO NOT USE!

Extremely poor service.

I booked airport parking at Gatwick and had a very disappointing experience from start to finish. It was extremely difficult to contact the company using the telephone number provided - while travelling to the airport to let them know about arrival and while away on holiday when I needed to notify them of a change to my arrival time as well as upon my return. In total, I made over 50 calls, only to be met with a recorded message asking me to leave a voicemail, followed by the message: "Oops, mailbox is full, call back later."

When I eventually managed to contact someone upon my return, I was forced to wait a further two and a half hours for my car to be delivered.

The experience before departure was equally concerning. I initially parked in the designated car park as instructed, but then received a call asking me to move to a different car park. A person claiming to be the driver appeared, but he provided no identification, no receipt, and simply took my car keys. This left me feeling extremely uneasy and resulted in an anxious holiday, as I genuinely worried whether I would see my car again.

The lack of communication, professionalism, and basic customer service was unacceptable. I would not use this company again and would strongly advise others to consider alternative parking providers.

DO NOT USE! Left my car in carpark-£770-fortunately didn’t have to pay as I had proof of being conned. Left my car key on the wheel of another vehicle-fortunately they hadn’t driven off or my key would have been crushed.
Very rude and aggressive on the phone.
Was the worst possible end to a holiday.
READ ALL OTHER REVIEWS! THIS IS NOT AN ISOLATED INCIDENT! THIS COMPANY SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT!

If I could put zero stars, I would.

Booked through compare your parking. Followed the instructions to call ahead 30 mins in advance. No answer and just rung to voicemail or didn’t ring at all. Arrived, kept ringing and after 45 mins from initial ringing and no answer and speaking with other customers who were waiting we decided to head to the long stay car park. We weren’t filled with confidence when we turned up to the meeting point to see notices from sussex police stating that parking fraud was common and to be vigilant. Made all the more fun as we were with a 4 month old.

We also spoke to a customer who was there to collect their car and had to stay overnight as they were left stranded without their car from the day before.

A compete horror show. Avoid these guys if you want to avoid stress and fraud.

I’ve raised a complaint and expect a full refund plus the cost of the short stay while waiting and the long stay we used as an alternative.

THIEVES
stole a pedestal fan from my car whilst in their possession. Only people to have my car keys whilst I was away. Once reported to them wriggled out of it saying they weren’t responsible as per a clause in their terms. Did this give them the right to steal anything they like from peoples cars???? Don’t think so. Reported to police. NEVER USE THEM

Very hard to get the message across more than the other reviews, but what a disaster. Drop off was fine, but upon return followed procedure, then it was "we have lost your car" "we are looking for your car" "we have found your car but we have lost the keys" This went on and on, we got the car back SIX HOURS LATER.

Avoid iPark at all costs

Please avoid this company. A security guard patrolling Level 5 (Car Park 6, North Terminal, Gatwick) said iPark are very unreliable and to always check operators reviews before booking. He directed me to the NCP office in case the driver didn't turn up. He did after 5 phone calls and was 45 mins late so a £16 charge in the Short Stay plus £8 on arrival. I was so concerned by reviews on this website that I booked an earlier trip back to Gatwick in case I was stranded. I called over an hour before I arrived to collect my car and found it returned but the key was left on the wheel arch with no text, or call to let me know this. At this stage, I was just glad to have my car but will never use this company again.

What ever you DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
They will ask you to drop your car off a one of the short stay car parks, and then charge you the £8.00 to get your car out and then they will take it to their parking area. This is on top of the price you pay to start with.
They will then return your car to the same car park, so you have to pay £8.00 again.
My flight was one that arrived just after midnight. There was no one there to receive us. My car was parked, with the key left on a wheel and the doors not locked.
When I went out the next day when I was at home to find a lovely dent and scratch across the front.
I emailed straight away and asked for our £16.00 back and explained about the damage........Nothing received back.....Sent again.......nothing.
It also says very clearly there will be no extra charges to pay, just your initial payment, fibbers.
