I have just shopped in garden world home bargains Newtownabbey, the staff 2 of them could not have been more helpful carrying my planters to the car and also packing the boot. Excellent customer service. Thank you.

I purchased an item on line and should have been delivered by Evri. Evri have contacted me to say they have misplaced it and to get in touch with homebargains. I have emailed several times to arrange a refund but I have had no reply. Very frustrating. No confidence to purchase anything else😡 still waiting for answer and full refund.

We went to home bargains cardigan today.
We visited the coffee shop. There seems to be only one working behind the counter . He was running around like an idiot he was so busy.Its not on that this guy has to be on his own this is modern day slavery.Why doesn't the manager come out to help instead of sitting in his office.

A great store. Everything is neatly in its place. Stock categories according to its belonging. Looking for an item, namely, awesome mini fan with usb; found the aisle /area where it would highly likely be. Just knew ftom the vibes, if it wasn't there, by similar categoried items, it was likely not available 😕. But then, on further exploring, there they were, up on a display shelf, nicely placed. Fantastic! Garden produce was stocked all on tbe garden section, foods in the food section. Ailes followed on the similar product from previous ailse. It was a great experience. Found everything i was looking for. Stock is fronted up neatly. Store is clean and tidy. Staff are busy doing their work. An awesome store. I'm pleased and proud of the Home Bargains Store that we have here in Merthyr Tydfil. I'm so glad we have one in our Town. I consider us very fortunate. Well done Home Bargains, Merthyr Tydfil 👍.

Absolutely sick to death of receiving orders without items missing or damaged. No way to call and actually speak to a human being, just email which takes ages for them to reply too

I ordered 8 items on the 14th May. One item arrived. I have had to email Home Bargains several times. They finally said that they would resend the items. Again they didn't arrive. Today, 25th May, they have decided to refund 7 of the items. Minus the delivery charge. Appalling service.

I went in bought buffalo clingfilm what a waste of money you cannot open the clingfilm it is totally useless if you cannot open it unfortunately there is no website I can write a review so wrote on Home bargains instead it didnt cost much money but why are they selling rubbish items

Very disappointing experience with Home Bargains delivery and customer service.

My parcel was left directly outside my front door in a highly visible and insecure location, completely exposed to theft. This is unacceptable and shows a serious lack of care for customers’ orders.

What made the situation even worse was the poor customer service. Instead of taking responsibility and resolving the issue themselves, I was told to contact the delivery company directly. As a customer, I purchased from Home Bargains, not from the courier, so it should be their responsibility to deal with delivery problems and provide proper customer support.

Customers should not be forced to waste time chasing courier companies because of poor service arranged by the store itself. The lack of accountability and professionalism from customer service was extremely frustrating.

Due to this experience, I will not buy from Home Bargains again, and I would strongly advise others to think carefully before ordering deliveries from them.

Home bargains Buckeley , visited as I do sometimes , my phone died as went to pay for my lunch , a the most loveliest staff member on the till paid off her own back .out of her own money !! So kind a thoughtful an absolute credit to the company . Her name was China at Buckeley store , hope she gets some recognition from her senior staff . She is an absolute credit to the company , not many people are so kind and thoughtful, so thank you !!

Ordered on Wednesday and delivered on Friday, well packed and everything complete,I have sent for a number of orders and never had a problem.

Workers always suspect people they’re stealing, shit customer service, my bf went in to buy a redbull (he’s 20) and they id’d him, btw he has a full beard, chest hair, everything. r we deadass home bargains, im 18 and they id me and deny me service for an energy drink like holy shit 🙏🙏

I've been ordering Wild Garden Bird Ultimate Suet Balls (150) for over two years now.
The service from Home Bargains has been exemplary, bar 2 occasions when some of the contents had been damaged - through no fault of HB or the courier - and a full refund was given immediately.
I have ordered upwards of 15 boxes and would highly recommend this fantastic product that is great value for money.
Delivery costs a minimal amount and the Evri couriers are fantastic and polite, always carry out the delivery instructions, and help carry the heavy box indoors without needing to be asked if you are in. The product always arrive super-fast, you are given detailed updates on delivery date and time, and I can't fault anything about the service.
The staff at Home Bargains in Loughton are really professional and polite and know their stuff. Home Bargains is a fantastic company and a pleasure to deal with.

Absolutely dreadful customer service

I purchased three sets of their “200 LED Copper Wire Solar String Lights” at £4.99 each and every single set was unusable due to the way they had been wound and packaged at the factory. The wires instantly tangled into a complete mess during normal attempts to unravel them. I wasted over an hour trying to sort them out before giving up.

I contacted customer services with photographs and proof of purchase, expecting at least some reasonable help or goodwill gesture. Instead, I received copy-and-paste responses repeatedly telling me to return to a store for a refund. The problem is I do not live near a store, and travelling just to return £15 worth of faulty products would cost more in time and fuel than the items themselves.

What disappointed me most was the complete lack of interest in the actual product fault. Despite clear photographs showing the issue affecting all three sets, customer services refused to escalate the complaint or offer any alternative resolution such as a voucher or coupon.

Very poor quality products backed up by equally poor customer service. I will not be shopping here again.
