I'm new to the area and visited HiQ for rear tyres,
The level of customer service from Jamie was fantastic so decided to get a long lost of maintenance bits done which Mike the Mechanic was brilliant, they answered my many questions and gave me lots of advice which I am very thankful for,
The whole process was made easy, they communicated efficiently along the way and maintained a very high level of professionalism.
I will be using these again.

Wanted 2 or 3 tyres for my son’s car. I wasn’t with him so wasn’t exactly sure how many. Olly at HiQ said they could order them and send back what we didn’t buy. He was the only person amongst the many other tyre places I rang that offered this. So I went ahead and ordered them. My son was able to get to the tyre station late on a Friday afternoon. We bought 2 tyres fitted by Olly. He also put the spare tyre, which was better than another tyre on the car - for a small fee, he had to swap over the rims. Excellent service, would recommend them. They were honest about what was needed and didn’t try to oversell products.

From the moment of walking in the door and meeting Jamie who booked me in at very short notice, to having the car fully serviced by Mike, I can't compliment them enough. Absolutely brilliant service! Very fair price as well!. I would definitely recommend HiQ at Maidstone near the Lock Meadow. Thanks to all the team!

A big thanks for the 'beyond the call of duty' response to a stressed and distressed customer (me!) from the team at Maidstone HiQ. Making time that didn't exist on a very busy day for them, to sort out my car. Very impressed with the service from the team at Maidstone HiQ, special thanks to Michael who gave me great advice and quickly sorted out the issue with a front wheel on my VW Polo, plus fitted two new tyres and an essential wheel alignment at a very reasonable cost. Honest advise, good prices and excellent service

Tyre blew just round the corner. Got it to the shop. Didn’t have my tyre in stock but went out of their way to get one in quickly so me and my 7 month old granddaughter weren’t stranded. Was changed quickly and at best price. Super bunch of guys and really helpful

They changed front and rear brake pads and droplink today on my Peugeot 3008 great service and quick service cars in all ok many thanks always helpful

Took car for an MOT left with them.

Car failed MOT we attended and were told that the car failed on the following and was dangerous not to be driven.

Front pads metal to metal with discs with front discs corroded and both front top mounts failed NS OS.

In addition no rolling road brake test was carried out as the MOT tester deemed that in his discretion they were that bad it did not warrant a brake test.

When asked to validate and evidence the failures they became hostile and abrasive eventually the car was put on the ramp for us to see the front brakes ourselves.

Pads were not worn down to metal and the discs were not corroded on the braking surface at all only the outer edge as with all cars absolutely normal discs are not made from stainless steel.

The top mounts could not be evidenced as the MOT tester refused to evidence his claim on these being worn or validate how they tested by him to show the wear that he alone claimed was excessive.

After a debate that was unnecessary the MOT was paid for and the car was taken away to another MOT test station.

In the presence of the RMI (regional MOT inspectorate) the car was tested and Passed the MOT with no parts being replaced or any alterations whatsoever.

There was an advisory for the OSR wheel bearing.

It is evident and clear that the HIQ MOT tester was dishonest in his findings and that the intention of this garage was to create works from the MOT itself with exaggerated claims of car being dangerous and not to be driven.

Note that all the works claimed to be required were on the front suspension and brakes alone a quick and easy access point with an excellent profit for them.

As a fully qualified Technician MOT tester (retired) I am absolutely fed up of garages who take advantage of people to have works carried out unnecessarily to make money alone using the MOT as a tool to create the work with false fabricated claims to scare and pressurise clients to part with their money for no good reason.

I would suggest that this MOT station be avoided at all costs and that you seek a decent upstanding MOT test station that works to the letter of the Test and is not looking to take advantage of you.

I did call the MOT tester after the RMI test for comment and he was resolute that in his opinion he had acted in a manner becoming and would not accept that in this case he was at fault.

The facts and evidence speak for themselves.

Tyres were ordered and arrived quickly, I was booked on within a few days. Staff were friendly and nice. A very good experience and would definitely use again
