Sunwave is unilaterally cancelling electrical power contracts in the ISO-NE region. My contract was supposed to go through November 2023, but now (Feb 3, 2022) turned over to non-solar, non-renewable local utility. Sunwave is blaming COVID, which makes no sense....

They just walked away from our contracts. This is awful. We have to find new providers with a possible war with Russia. Run away these people fast and do not look back. Maybe someone from Sunwave can call me and we will not sue and go after the directors if there is fraud

The gas they offer is good

The gas they offer is good and the customer service is positive, they dont stall although the price is really up there because of how its not like the other companies but I would recommend this to others

I have called 3 times and left a…

I have called 3 times and left a message for them to call med back. its very difficult to get through to them on the phone. I can't imagine that they would function any better if I sign up with them as a customer. sorry I wasted my time. on to another comany....
terrible customer service.

Not rude, but has me concerned

Received 2 emails (both sent back-to-back) thanking me for signing up with their company. Advised them they were wrong as I signed up with current supplier for 3 years tacked on to the current contract that expires in February, 2019. Their email indicated someone," possibly your husband, enrolled at 11:25 AM on 11/27/18." Nobody was here yesterday from 6:45 AM until 1:15 PM as we had to take one of our dogs to a vet whose office is an hour's drive away for an 8 AM appointment.
They have the correct Eversource account number and I told their CS rep that we might have been a customer a number of years ago. I asked that they research if that's how they obtained the account number and requested cancellation of the enrollment. Their CS rep replied immediately that she would cancel the enrollment, but I guess I'll have to believe the research the matter is not forthcoming.
Their contact has me concerned, especially since the "enrollment" did not take place from here. If this is typical of their actions I would suggest the Buyer should Beware.

Thank you for your feedback. At Sunwave we have adopted a online sales approach to improve a customer's experience, we do not employ residential sales people. We readily understand and accept that you did not intend to submit an application for service to Sunwave, however, we did receive an application for service from your email via our online portal on November 27th. Our customer correspondence is auto-generated upon receipt of an an application for service. Given we do not employ outbound sales people and there is no record of receipt of an inbound call from yourself, the only explanation was that the application was submitted, perhaps unintentionally.

Poor service - stay way

Their sales rep con you into long term rental agreements, then when you call and make a service appointment, they don't even bother to show up or call you back or anything. Poor service all around. Stay away from this company!!

You may have the incorrect company. Sunwave Gas & Power does not sell rental agreements for equipment, we provide electric generation service (energy supply) only. All of our sales are completed online, we do not employ residential sales people.

sunwave gas+power is good service provider... The representative was very nice and explained service, account details w payment procedures to me answering any questions I had...

Got rejected due to "load factor"…

Got rejected due to "load factor" apparently only 30% qualify yet they make no mention of this except in the fine print that no one ever reads. Deceptive and a waste of time filling out the information for this offer.

Thank you for your feedback. Certain of our products do have a qualification criteria based on our cost to serve your account. The cost to serve your account is heavily influenced by your peak demand (icap tag assigned by your local utility) relative to your average demand. Most offers at the top of the Connecticut rate board are bait & switch schemes, generally low priced money losing offers designed to get you to sign up followed by a very high price relative to the market. Sunwave thought there was a better way, it is for this reason we launched customized offers based on the cost to serve your account. For customers that qualify for our high load factor products we believe there will always be great value resulting in a consistent positive customer experience. For those customers that do not qualify we hope to launch programs that will help you improve your load factor and reduce your cost of energy.

Customer Service W style

Very impressed ...I set up new service online/over the phone never had to make a trip in to the office! Representatives are available untill 9 pm and on the weekends. The representative was very nice and explained service, account details w payment procedures to me answering any questions I had.

Any questions I had, were courteously answered by phone rep. Very easy sign up, and as a returning customer, I must say that their correspondence through the term of past contracts, has always been good.

Sunwave does not engage in loss leader bait & switch tactics. We recently launched a new product, for which you have to apply and be approved. The pricing is very competitive, we are able to offer this price as it is based on our cost to serve your account. Our cost to serve you is based, in part on your historical consumption pattern.
You applied for the product and unfortunately your usage pattern did not meet the criteria for approval. Approximately 31% of customer who apply are approved for service. There are ways to improve your usage pattern and to qualify for Sunwave's best rates, we hope to have this information incorporated into our web site in the near future.
