Great customer service and my play sand arrived on time and was exactly what I needed. Highly recommended!

Absolutely awful service, I would advise anybody who are thinking of ordering from this company to think twice! We placed an order worth £600 and was notified it would be delivered to us by 7th April. We then received another email to say our delivery date had been changed to the 11th, we rang up to double check and they informed us it wasn’t the 11th but in actual fact, the 13th. We then rang AGAIN on the morning of the 13th to be told our delivery time slot was around lunch time.
1pm arrived and still no delivery… rang again to be told 2:30pm at the latest. However, on this phone call it was asked how we were going to remove the sleepers from the truck as they wasn’t loaded onto a truck with a tailgate so was unable to get them off the truck at our end. The the driver had refused to help with the unloading & as a result, couldn’t leave at kerbside despite confirming in the email that kerbside delivery was applicable to our order. Made a complaint to the manager & was advised the issue would rectify itself once our order had arrived. 4pm and STILL no delivery. My partner was supposed to be at work for 2pm but had stayed at home as was told our delivery was on the way. Called the company again at 4pm only to find out that our order had now been cancelled & rescheduled for the following day! Stressed and angry is an understatement, so much money has been spent only to be treated in this way. Definitely won’t be ordering from here again.

Ordered 30 oak sleepers. About 20 of them are absolutely shocking. Can’t even use them. I know they are a natural wood but would expect some kind of quality control before they go out. Most of the ends have massive chunks missing and huge cracks.

They advertise free delivery and will then charge you hundreds!!!

This was for soil delivery and they reply saying they offer free on these products - see their reply - they are con artists as they want to charge hundreds on a so called FREE delivery - COURT ACTION and CREDIT CARD COMPANY INFORMED

They further respond stating talk with customer service which we have done and they still want to charge delivery of nearly £200 on a £280 order !!!!!!!!!

You will note there are multiple complaints about this company and especially delivery issues. I can only repeat AVOID AND DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING - WE WILL GO THROUGH THE COURTS AND CRED CARD COMPANY TO GET A REFUNF PLUS ALL COSTS AND EXPENSES

Ordered 100l of bark. I HD to email on day of arrival to check when arriving. Then to be told there's no stock c.5 days after ordering it. If I hadn't I would never have heard anything day wasted staying in for a delivery that was never arriving but they didn't bother to tell me that. Still awaiting refund

They required two people at receiving end to take delivery of garden sleepers. At the last minute they rescheduled delivery. Will go with someone more reliable next time.

Highly recommend using Gardoo. Well priced, all as expected and really good communication throughout, especially from Vicky in the CS team - will def be using them again

I've read some negative reviews for this company which is a shame, as I'm truly happy with the price, sales process and delivery. After spending many hours searching for 50 Oak sleeper and a good price I found Gardoo the best. It would of been twice the price if I bought from local merchant. The delivery price was good and to be expected for the volume and weight. I helped off load the sleepers, and inspected each one and found the quality very good. I'd use them again.

There delivery prices are an absolutely rip off!! Stay well away from them!! Go local merchants they will offer stuff at a slightly higher price and delivery is mostly free! And if there is a charge it’s £10-30 at most not £100 no saving money going online with these jokers!

As Richard Lines, ordered quantity of compost, for delivery. Unfortunately, didn't arrive on due date, due to current shortage of HGV drivers. Jack in Customer Services took charge of ensuring delivery took place the following day, 12 Nov 2021. Very helpful driver placed the pallent exactly where I needed it. Compost is of excellent quality, and as described when purchased. I am delighted with the product, and after sales customer service, and would definitely use them again. Looking at other reviews, many of them relate to the delivery rather than the product and potential customers should consider the current driver shortage when ordering.

Very pleased with the quality. I over ordered based on the fact that with a natural product you will often get some that don’t look quite right. I could have got away with not doing this. Delivery driver was very helpful

I bought 2 bulk bags of gravel, selected my delivery day (Wednesday) and took that day off to stay at home. On the Tuesday I received an email that my delivery is on its way and to be delivered on Thursday. I called Customer services who confirmed that the delivery will be on the Wednesday. It did not arrive. I called customer services again on Thursday who told me it that it will delivered on Thursday afternoon . This time my wife had to stay at home all afternoon. Again no delivery. On Friday morning I called customer service again who told me that delivery will now be the Friday afternoon. This time my wife had to postpone her work appointment to stay at home. At 16h30 pm I contact customer services again to ask where our delivery was. I was told that the haulier was unable to reach our property because of the way cars were parked in our street. In some parts of the street cars are parked on both sides, but there has always been room for delivery, rubbish trucks and moving trucks. Had I been home on Wednesday and there was a genuine issue I could have helped. I was told that because the hauliers were 2 days late, I will probably not be charged for delivery. On Monday I received an e-mail that the missed the delivery charges will be £170 (£85 missed delivery + £85 returning of goods by haulier) followed by another e-mail that the hauliers has waivered the return of goods fee and that charges will be 'only' £85. This can't be right. Not only is this a lot of amount of money for a delivery 35 miles away, the hauliers were also unable to provide any proof that they had no access.

I can't complain about customer services as I am sure they did their best but be careful when you order from this company because they could potentially charge you £170 for a failed delivery without providing any evidence.

needed 20 sleepers and they arrived on a pallet on lorry with a tail lift on the right day at the right place. there was plenty of room for the lorry and he had my instructions from gardoo.
everything was delivered in order with a minimum of fuss- i did not expect the driver to lift/move/carry them to a complex place as this was my responsibility!

Communication excellent from the moment of ordering to delivery - really pleased with the customer service.

Fair price on sleepers but the delivery of them was a joke.
A 10 hour time slot with no contact on ETA or tracking. My delivery didn't show and I wasn't told.
I had people waiting in for 10 hours to take the delivery because the courier didn't have the means to upload them.
The customer service from Gardoo was responsive but they only use email and have contact number. This is frustrating when you are sat waiting for replies.
My delivery showed up out of the blue on the second day and I had nobody to take the delivery. Luckily the driver did this alone or I would have had to pay for re-delivery.

All in all, just not good enough in this modern worl of everything being delivered, people expect much more!!

I can’t fault the delivery or the product. 25 sleepers, very competitive prices. Delivered on the day they originally stated.
There were 2 of us available as per their clear instructions when ordering but we weren’t needed as they were on a pallet and the driver delivered them exactly where need on our drive

I too was apprehensive about using this company given the Trustpilot reviews below (I have used another company in the past and should have read Trustpilot reviews before buying from the other company!)

Gardoo had the best price for Woodland Mulch so I stuck it on a Credit Card and gave Gardoo a go! I am pleased to report everything went incredibly well. Ordering process was easy and straight forward, confirmation email and then delivery date was shortly followed. The delivery driver phoned me up on the day when he was about an hour away from me which was very good! Driver was pleasant and got the pallet onto the driveway as expected.

So I for one will be using them again.

How I wish I'd read the reviews here before dealing with this company. I ordered a tote bag of compost which arrived yesterday. The courier deposited the bag on the pavement, blocking it, and claiming "kerbside delivery". I asked him to deliver it to the front of my house which is standard for garden products in my experience. The courier claimed he couldn't manually manoeuvre the pallet up the drive, which was fair enough, although he had an electric pallet assist on the delivery vehicle. No attempt was made to reverse the delivery vehicle up the drive (plenty of room) and when I asked him to move it off the pavement he refused so I declined delivery. "F*** you" was his response, in front of my neighbours.
To add insult to injury the company claim the cost of returning the tote bag is almost £100!!! and so they are refusing to refund my money. I am escalating the complaint.
Don't make the same mistake as I did - don't trade with this company.
