Very good customer service. I have used another express company for online plants and they were shocking.

Always timely informed regarding the orders progress and delivery. The item arrived earlier than projected. The plant was in excellent condition, and as often quoted was bigger than expected. In my opinion , a Peerless customer experience.

The staff are always helpful and friendly. I received my cactus plant today and I am delighted with it. It is a good size and is very healthy. I've noticed that often cactus plants from the Internet can be very expensive but these ones are a reasonable price. The plant looks great with my other houseplants in my home, I have quite a collection now. I will be buying another of these particular plants when I get paid next month. I ordered 2 Ilex Crenata Convexa Spiral topiary plants which were delivered on time and exceeded my expectations. Garden Plants is my first choice for specialty plants.

Don’t use this company. There so many better options to choose from.

I’ve had a very disappointing experience when I ordered two 10L hakonechloa. After a very long delivery they arrived and were scrawny, bare and clearly young plants recently put into 10L pots, one in particular looked half dead. This was something of a shock after paying £97.90 and I got in touch to say I felt wildly overcharged.

Unfortunately their customer service is worse than their plants. After multiple emails over several weeks trying to sort out they did give me a refund of £25 but then withdrew their additional offer of website credit.

In the final email from their manager my complaint was escalated to, he complained about their supplier and that it wasn’t their fault if the they were smaller than normal and young but they’d sent them on anyway to prevent further delay. He also supplied a photo of them on my doorstep to evidence the pot size (which I wasn’t questioning. No one cares about the plastic pot their plants come in). Even in their own photo one is half the density of the other and neither look the dense hills I was expecting (and as were promoted on their site). Effectively he concurred with my complaint and gave it context and evidence while saying they would not refund me further and I wasn’t being fair because it wasn’t their fault.
I’m pretty sure he was actually two children in a raincoat pretending to be an adult.

Ordered two Oleander shrubs online and , with a limited delay as they had to be imported, I received two perfectly healthy specimens in return. Nothing not to like.

I was looking for a mature Olive tree for my patio and decided to order from Garden Plants Online after reading about their range. The tree arrived exactly as described, with a well-shaped canopy and healthy foliage. Packaging was excellent, so there was no damage during transport, and the delivery driver handled it with care. I felt the price reflected the quality of the plant, which was noticeably better than similar options I had seen locally. After a few weeks, the tree is thriving and has settled in nicely. The ordering process was simple, communication about delivery was clear, and the whole experience was smooth from start to finish.

I ordered a selection of Portuguese Laurel plants to replace an old hedge that had become patchy over the years. I chose Garden Plants Online because the plant sizes and descriptions were much clearer than other websites I checked. The plants arrived on the scheduled delivery date, carefully packed and still moist around the roots. Every plant looked healthy, with strong stems and plenty of green growth. Planting them was straightforward, and they have established well in the garden. The quality was exactly what I hoped for, especially considering the price. I also contacted customer service before ordering, and they answered my questions promptly and professionally. I would happily order from them again.

I have purchased four plants so far from this company; a pair of Euonymus Japonicus 'Benkomasaki' plants and two Leyland Cypress 'Gold Riders”.
I was looking for more mature and larger than average specimens, so I selected the 15L pot shrub and 250-300 cm tall tree options, respectively- and they did not disappoint! They looked healthy, bushy, and now I’ve had them long enough to confirm that they rooted well too, and have been growing happily ever since. I needed them for instant impact, and the Leylandi in particular for privacy- they are absolutely perfect for it. (There are some new builds around us, where there never used to be any houses and it was strange to be overlooked.., well no more!)
I’m now planning on buying a blue Arizona cypress and a few shrubs too - I could not find them in similar sizes at better prices anywhere else. The delivery costs are reasonable enough.
I highly recommend Garden Plants Online to anyone looking for healthy plants that are value for money.

Fast, efficient service and great plants - exceeded expectations

I ordered an bloodgood Acer from garden plants online, as I had good communication with them, and as I've been looking elsewhere I found them to be extremely helpful, they clearly advertised the dispatch day, and approximate delivery following that.
I would have left 5 stars if there wasn't signs of scorched leaves on the plant, however the summer has been a dry one, so it's not to be expected but acceptable.
