AN HONEST TRANSACTION THOUGH I HAD TO WAIT A LITTLE THE QUALITY OF THE PRODUCT WAS EXCELLENT THANK YOU.

On the plus side, the plants that I have ordered, Cypress trees and some ivys, have all been beautiful. The process falls down a little in terms of delivery times, these are always substantially longer than indicated. But no big deal, the main thing is the plants are excellent. They’re also very helpful with their customer service.

I ordered an established hydrangea quercifolia in a 18-25 litre pot size and paid £95 for this.
What arrived was 2 3 litre root balls only recently put together in the pot (£14 each). They were not hydrangea quercifolia but hydrangea paniculata!
I have asked for a refund but they refuse and say putting 2 shrubs together in a pot is common practise, which it is not.

After placing an order for a Blue Spanish fir tree on the 27th March, numerous chasing emails & promises of an upgraded tree size & earth from Plants Online, a tree just within the range of what was originally ordered was delivered on the 8th August - some 5 months after I had paid £360. A £50 store voucher has been offered which I do not find acceptable after reneging on their previous offers

Ordered some terracotta pots, great value, good communication and delivery, fine if your not in a hurry, often takes a few weeks.

Exceptional quality of terracotta trough. Delayed delivery but excellent communications whilst waiting.

Plants came that was ordered, in great shape nice and healthy condition and good quality.

I ordered 2 large terracotta pots from Garden Plants Online; great selection and reasonably priced. Delivery took a little longer than expected but communication was excellent and kept me fully informed until the pots were delivered. Pots are perfect and exactly what I wanted.

Lovely quality large plant. Not the fastest delivery but kept in communication. Driver delivered without checking I was in and getting it signed for so something to watch. I’ll use them again.

The pot is lovely and and just as I hoped, the wait was quite a while which is explained and it was worth waiting for, it isn't such a good choice if you are wanting a pot quickly. The communication was consistent and clear and polite.

I have been attempting to get an agreed refund for an incorrect order that was delivered to me in June. I have spoken to several people in their team who each assured me this would be resolved and that I would get the refund due. It’s September and nothing has been done. The quality of the plant that was send was truly awful. And rather than receive the refund another was delivered 2 weeks later. (Just as awful) save yourself time and money. Shop elsewhere.

Having worked for many years in Customer Services, I understand the value of receiving feedback, good or bad. So here goes. I used this company before in 2023 and as such decided to use them again recently (August 2026). I have to say that the experience was very poor and I'm writing this so that lessons can be learned and hopefully improvements put in place by the Garden Plants Online management team. I notice from some other reviews that I'm not the only one who has had the issue that I have faced, so maybe this will be the feedback that finally encourages action to be taken. In summary:
- The wrong plant was delivered. I rejected it.
- I was then told that the delivery date for re-delivery would be 2-3 weeks later as they had driver holiday schedule issues
- Over 5 weeks later the wrong plant was delivered again. I rejected it.
I have to say that the folks handling my phone calls and emails were very apologetic, with the exception of the person who told me about the driver holiday issues, as I was made to feel like I should just 'deal with it'. I feel that this is a management issue and they should take proper steps to ensure that fixes are implemented. I truly hope that the pacifying emails I received weren't just to move me on and there will be a genuine attempt to improve. Talking of which, I am so frustrated by my experience with garden plants online that I have declined a third delivery attempt and have decided to order the plant from another supplier who has provided assurances about the checks they have in place to ensure that they order and deliver the correct plant. Ultimately I'm out of pocket to the tune of £140 with a plant I don't want.... but that's a measure of how frustrated I am.

We ordered three plants on line from their very good website. Requests for further info responded to immediately. Delivery made exactly within the quoted time slot and delivery of very healthy plants efficiently handled. Well done!

Great quality plants at a good price. Excellent communication and updates about delivery dates/times.

Good communication about my order for some special lavender plants. Delivered in the expected time frame and the plants are in excellent condition. Would most certainly use again.

Great range and good price. Delivery from Italy took 6 weeks, but extreme weather didn't help. Kept us up to date. No doubt delivery delay made it a tired looking plant. However it looks promising. Ask me again in 12 months.
